Rip Scott hall , one of my all time favorites …I watched from the beginning and every tape there I rented several times and your right for sure those covers are burned in my Brian. Love it!
I remember when the first Wrestlemania came around in 1985 that there was a regular program I watched religiously on Channel 10. But that maybe lasted 2 or 3 years and it lost popularity. These were the days of peak WWF. Wonderful personalities and simple enthralling stories. Maybe we were just simpler? Maybe life was simpler as a young person? I'm always just putting on a random match from 1987 to 1995. Just so many memories around this period growing up. Thanks for a great little vid. I found myself nodding and smiling a lot 👍👌😉
I wish I remembered the build to the very first Wrestlemania and the event itself, that would have been wild! Throughout the early 90s the only WWF I ever saw was the odd brief segment on Channel 9's Wide World of Sports, that was it! They sure were Matt, I don't want to be the guy to say "it was so much better back then" because I don't watch today's wrestling but the product of the late 80s and early to mid 90s perfectly aligned with my age and personality. In the ring they were like real life superheroes and out of the ring it was like the TV show I'm obsessed with! Thanks very much Matt, I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it😁👍
Awesome pickups! I remember the promotion for SummerSlam '91 being off the wall, and I wanted to watch that event live so bad. This video brought back some memories! Good stuff, my friend!
Glad to hear this one brought back some memories for you bud, I'm sure you raided the video store just as much as me back in the day! Yep, Summerslam '91 was definitely a special one.
Great pick ups Scott! My favourite all time has to be Summer Slam ‘88 - probably because it was first big one we saw. My older brother managed to get a pirated version from the states I think so we got it before the video stores. Literally every kid in the neighborhood came around to watch it! One of my best childhood memories. We were kings for a day lol
Ah yes, the Mega Powers and the Mega Bucks! I don't have that one in the collection just yet but I definitely rented it as a kid. Man, that sounds like such a great memory, your house would have been the place to be! Thanks Phil👍
1992 rumble was great!! The artwork on the rumble VHS’s were great too. Definitely RUclips how to clean VHS tapes or check out Facebook groups lots of people clean them and they work 100%
92 Rumble was the best! Ok cool, I wonder if the tapes that have some fuzzy playback could also benefit from a clean even though they don't appear to have mould... I appreciate that mate, I'll have a hunt around on RUclips and Facebook👌
I’m currently survivor series 89 I’m on the one with the 4x4 .ive bin on 89 kick as recently watched wwf super tape and summer slam 89 . Also I just ordered new pro wrestling shirt it’s Roddy piper shirt it’s replica shirt that he would wear the hot rod I got in green just because that’s my color .
It’s funny how I got into wrestling was the game wwe all stars as got interested in history of the legends in the game who was super fly and Ricky the dragon steam boat . In fact I remember when of my friends telling me I did a great job making a version of them in all stars .
That's awesome! I had an absolutely ball playing WWF/WWE video games as a kid, specifically WWF Superstars on Gameboy and Royal Rumble on SNES! Thanks Bucky!
If you ever want to add any other wwf tapes to collections that aren’t paper views here’s my current top 5 I like . 5. The wrestling classic 4. Ricky the dragon steam boat 3.super tape 2. Andre the Giant 1. The life times of Captain Lou Albano . Super tape 3 focuses on the legion of doom I’ve not watched that one .
@@ScottCrusher I think the super tape kinda fits in with the paper views since it’s the only place you can see the match for the movie the match paper view they did for no holds barred they hyped all during the 89 survivor series .
You bought a 30 year old VHS previous rental and complained about the video quality for a partial refund. Jesus, it's people like you that make selling on eBay a pain in the ass.
Steve, if someone advertises a tape on eBay as tested and working with no playback issues I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that. But to each their own, I've been on the other end with buyers hunting flaws for items I've sold.

@@ScottCrusher I sure am mate, in Penrith
@@Drumspike Awesome! Say G'day if you see me wandering around!👍
I remember seeing these “pay per view” with my friends :)
Nice! I was never lucky enough for my parents to buy the pay-per-view for me so I was all about the VHS life!! :)
🔥
👊😁

Have you play fllsinger games legends of wrestling? I ask because a good of wwf guys are in the game . So you might want to check it out .
Actually I hadn't heard of it, but reading about it now, it looks really cool! I'll definitely check it out, thanks Bucky!
