  • Another one to add to the LSD door conversion list, this time for a vehicle that we believe should come with these doors as standard. I mean, they've even been nicknamed Lamborghini Doors. Despite most of Lamborghinis models featuring these doors, the Gallardo, and its successor the Huracan, unfortunately do not. This is where we step in as an official installer for LSD door conversions through our partnership at KW Automotive. If you are interested in having an LSD conversion completed on your vehicle, then please get in contact with us either over the phone, or by requesting an estimate via our website (link below). We do also offer a finance option on our wide range of services, providing the total costs are over £1,000, which would be perfect for this job. All details regarding the finance option can be found via our websites.

Mat Armstrong has a black Gallardo on his channel, you should do a joint video with him to raise your profile as you guys deserve so much more coverage for your great work and superbly edited vids.

So here is my opinion. Unsolicited, but that is the joy of RUclips: There is no doubting the quality of your work. Body centre is hands down the best body shop I have ever had the good fortune to experience the services of, when it comes to bodywork and paint. (My yellow Superleggera was the subject of an earlier video on this channel). So my comments bear no reflection on your company or the quality of your work. I also believe that everyone is entitled to do whatever they want with their cars. That does not stop me from providing an opinion though, on what people do actually do. Lamborghini Scissor Doors we’re introduced with the Countach and are very much a trademark of the big V12 cars from the Countach to the current Aventador. This is one of their signature characteristics. The Jalpa, Gallardo and Huracan are the “baby” Lambos. They never had scissor doors, because they were not the big V12 cars to which these doors belong. They all have their own benefits over the V12s in more practical ways and the way the door opens is barely relevant. To put this type of door on a Gallardo or Huracan just screams “pretender” / “wannabe” to me. Also, the LSD door conversion does not actually operate correctly, if indeed you are trying to emulate the scissor door effect. These doors have to open conventionally before then lifting up. Whereas the real things go straight up without having to open conventionally. So, it just highlights the “fakeness” of the concept. Great job, but never something I would ever consider, when there are many other things you can do, in terms of modifications, that provide far more tangible benefits than the “scissor doors…but not really” car park pose mod. As for the rest of the car, a properly nice example and the current owner, misguided as they may be on this “upgrade”, certainly appears to look after it. Joyous cars to drive.

Looks great but you still have to open the door horizontally
