    I would love to learn how to engrave with gold inlay on guns. I'm looking into the process now. Love the short intro!

    This looks like a tedious process. You must have such patience. Beautiful results 😃

    Groves and then an undercut ,I'm going to attempt the engraving with a fiber laser and inlay with sterling silver wire. Whats your opinion?

    Just looking to confirm methods for my own workings, does creating small pockets in the inlay channel provide a easy way of getting 24k to hold to .999 silver rings

    How to make that undercut? Is that called “dovetail”? Thanks

    • @JanHendrikViljoen
      @JanHendrikViljoen  4 года назад +2

      The undercut is done with gravers. It is just like a dovetail.

      Jan Hendrik Viljoen thanks Jan. One more question, what is the best to use for wider surfaces like watch bezel for example or center links of the watch bracelet?

    How to make the part before the easy tap in please, oh please. Is it a different video? Undercuts? Teeth? Wha wha wha...?

  • @nikhi1chavan
    @nikhi1chavan 4 года назад

    This technique is good but it need more gold since its hammered and half of gold is inside.
    In India we use thin wire without hammering

    Pointless video since you don't show the most important part on how you cut the channel and the teeth to hold the wire ....
