I just got one off eBay, Katrina flooded my childhood home and we lost everything. It’s been years of wishing to have this back in my life and now I can’t wait to bring back the real magical feeling of Christmas because I have this again
My great aunt had one of these that has 5 horses that go up and down. I absolutely love using it every year and never get tired of listening to its beautiful music
I had one of these growing up. When I got married and moved out, I missed it so much. And then, one Christmas, my mother got me one of my own. My very favorite Christmas decoration.
Core memory unlocked. My paternal grandmother gave this to me for an Early Christmas gift in 1993. If only I had it at my place to remember her (as she sadly passed away young at the age of 63), but I'm believing that it's been sold.
My dad is 58 years old I'm 13 and he's had this same set for thirty years and it still works all the animals move the lights work all except for one and it plays all the songs I love this set 🤪🤪🤪
i have this! was passed down to me when my grandma passed away a couple years ago. i remember every christmas sitting next to the mantle watching it move. although couple of the animals no longer move on mine
Those are listed on ebay that costs over one hundred dollars. Shipping can be expensive. Thanks but no thanks. We prefer the Christmas lights on our watches though.
For anyone wondering out there if the LEDs seem very dim yes this is the case these are the older generations of LEDs back then they were not too bright watch Timber did most modern LEDs. Anything around this time and somewhat later and before you'll find this type of LED fairly often a lot of people have asked me before if there's something going on with an old device because the LED seem dimmer than modern ones and they just don't realize that it's due to the type of LEDs that were around at the time. Also of note the carousel horses themselves are illuminated by incandescent bulbs. I don't remember which voltage these are it's one of the sub miniature bases sometimes found in Old indicators I think it was the Edison or E5 base but it could have been eaten but I think it's E5 the smaller one I haven't used these type of bulbs in quite a while. Can't remember if these were 6 or 12 volts probably 6 volts more than likely although there's other possibilities but it's been a long time I think I did repair one of these ones for someone too long ago to remember the specs on the bulb and also these bulbs were used in a lot of things like this not just from Mr Christmas but others as well and we're keeping a package of these on hand since they go out easily. Of note they also use a same base oftentimes for the dollhouse lamps as well for the bulbs it is at least used to still doing some cases but nowadays a lot of stuff going into white LEDs unfortunately. And also would not recommend using LED replacements they just wouldn't look right and also can be different polarities on different mix of LED replacement bulbs in which can cause problems some of them have to have the positive on either the screw shell or the bottom base of the bulb although others can use either polarity or AC if have integrated Bridge rectifier and it's hit or miss on things as well and occasionally you'll find it something is wired with random polarity from Woonsocket to another which makes things even worse
I have one too but last year on Christmas day it turned off with it still plugged in and my dad and I smelled the caliopie and it smelled burnt so it's in my room right now as non working right now I'm waiting to get a new one. So rip 1989-2022.

I purchased this exact one from someone on Facebook this summer. I just took it out a few minutes ago to set up. I plugged it in, turned it to the “on” position......and nothing. It does not move, the lights don’t go on, it does not even make any noise. I’m so upset. How would I even begin to figure out what’s wrong with it?
If no power goes to it at all, it might be something with the power connection inside the organ piece. If you know anyone who knows about electrician stuff give it to them to take a look at?
Omg bro thank God for the internet because i never thought i was gonna hear and see this decorations again. Brings back memories from 1994-1999🥹🥹

Mine is all horses.
Also the light bulbs on these things have always been pretty faulty.
Those bulbs above the animals unscrew. Use a rubber tube or something, they are fragile. E5 Base 6.3volts I think.
Just got one off ebay
Enjoy! I know I do!
Thank you!!
