- Trying some of the best tacos in Mexico City on this street food tour! We tried some amazing mexican food and tacos including Anthony Bourdain's favorite taco spot called tacos los cocuyos. Mexico City has some great food, so this is only the beginning, stay tuned as we eat our way throughout CDMX, to see some of the best street food in Mexico!
We had all types of tacos on this tour including, suadero, cabeza, campechano, lengua, al pastor, longaniza, guisados, and much more.

I love hand made tortillas, it makes a big difference and with chicharones 🤤all that meat is being soaked from it own juices. 🤤 the fatty pieces is the best part. Now i want some tacos. Great video

I lived in Mexico city 40yrs ago as a student. I know I ate a lot of tacos I like chicken(Pollo) and carne asada .I did try a lengua one and didn't like it.

Currently, many businesses of street food stalls, and established establishments use chemicals in their sauces so that they "keep" or preserve longer and have that bright color, the sad reality is that they put some type of vinegar and they lose their flavor a lot, in addition to all having the same method and therefore anywhere they taste the same... THE CUCUYOS are different among few others.

Yo dude. You got to learn some Spanish. Please. First of all, tacos de guisado means the meats are generally softer because the meat is usually cooked/stewed longer so it's softer. So, it's not gourmet. You had the third taco at 14:00 and you said it was like pulled pork. I can see at the beginning that it was pork leg/hoof. You didn't know until you bit into the bone. Then you said it was pork ears. Do you have bones in your ear? That would be cartilage and it's not hard like bone. Then, you said it must be like chicken feet. Now, you are getting close. But if you knew spanish, I'm sure they told you it was patita de puerco. Pork feet. Head is pronounced Ka - Be - Sa with the S sound Never Z sound. Spanish doesn't have a Z or Sh sound. Hope that helps. I do speak fluent Spanish and I was there last week. The pork skin dish at this guisado is called Chicharon made from chicharon prensado. Pressed chicharon comes in a big brick/slab. You prepare the pan with onion and garlic and tomatoes then put chunks of the chicharon in to warm up slowly, add water so they start to break up and absorb the juices. Season. That's what you were eating.
By the way, other taquerias de guisado charge as low as 8 pesos/taco. The one near Metro Doctores charge 10. All good. They keep cooking up a new dish every hour or so. So, what's available always changes and usually the guisados are open 24 hours.
That first place ORINOCO's menu looked like a brazen rip-off. Based on those prices I'd give it a miss
