I think what he said about not finding the best taco is relatable to all foods. You will never have a better one from your childhood and or a time in your life where you had nothing else and you could barely afford it but it made your life so much better.

It makes me SO PROUD to read all the foreign ppl saying that they love tacos and how they would love to visit our contry and try all this kind of things, those people are trully unbelievable, and from the bottom of my heart i would say that you are more than welcome, i love how food or other similar interest unite people, we may have look different, have shapes or differents skins colors, but in the end, we all are like brothers, i would be more than happy to be host of any people that would like to come to my place and learn from it, from the culture and from the food, wich i love and i devoted my entire life to it btw, Mexico will always welcome kind-hearted people with a smile.

Bet you'd learn Spanish in no time when you can only order in Spanish ...unless you get someone in line to help you. There are many people especially Americans who live/lived in Mexico and can speak Spanish no problem. When I went to Lima Peru if took me 2 months before I basically knew how to get around , order food and buy just about anything on my own while when you reach that point your learning of the language just picks up as at that point you've seen the results yourself when you try to pick up a language in a foreign country for months.

@@rjames2312 there are Cali border tacos too. And the seafood tacos in Baja totally crush and tacos near Texas. Generally the food in Baja or Western Mexico is way better than what you'll find near the gulf border. But when you go south it doesn't matter which side your at the closer you get to Oaxaca the better the food.

Yeah, the economy is bad, yeah there is corruption, etc.
But the relaxed quality of life, people are happy even without much, the food is fantastic, the warmth of the people.
Unlike the US, people like robots everyday, home- work work-home, slaving away to pay bills, credit cards, etc.

Jewish people love brisket. So I look at that like Mexican pastrami. So thanks for making me want to go to Mexico again. I bet that's one of the spots were no matter what everyone just leaves each other alone as they conjure in a disorganized fashion, waiting for the cook to bless them as if it was a religious event.
Smiling while they count the amount of tacos each one can shove in their body.

Growing up around Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, I've had many tacos in my lifetime. I can confidently say the suadero tacos I had from a truck in Vallejo were the best I've ever had. I stopped by 2-3 times a week for about 6 months straight. Now, I look for it on every menu I can. Not terribly common in California.
