Purchased second hand in 2015 at 3.2 lac with 40k running
Unknowingly I made 140+ speed on straight empty highway
It will not make you feel you that it’s going at 140 that’s the high speed stability
With 2010 model, it has few features which current manufacturers selling as usps
1. Follow me headlamp
2. Apart from Rear vent ac, it has below front seat ac vents for rear passenger feet
3. Auto close electrics once you take key out even if you forget headlight or cabin light
4. Access to boot from rear seat
5. Rear defogger with rear fog light and rear windshield curtain
6. Auto dim lights on cluster n music system when headlights are on
7. Speed limit warning, seat belt warning, fuel consumption display with avg
8. Driver seat height adjustable, driver arm rest with 2 level height adjustment
9. Engine immobiliser
10. One touch both front side window down n up
With almost 1lac km run, it still goes 140+ without any issue
Hydraulic Steering feedback of Linea is something missing in today electric steering
There are certain vehicles which doesn’t age with time, Linea is definitely one if maintained well
You have to get used to Turbo (2000+ rpm) for turbo kick

Fiat needs to make a comeback to India. I have a Fiat Punto, and before Fiat Palio. Both amazing cars!
Fiat cars are almost gone . They are now specializing in supplying engines to other manufacturers and they are happy with it . They have other famous brands to work with .

I own a Linea T-Jet+ bought it in December 2010, have clocked handsome numbers in odo meter... It is my 4th car, before that I owned a Maruti 800, Alto, Chevy Aveo U-VA I changed all these CARs in 3 years Max, the family also owned Fiat 1100-D, Premier 118NE, WaganR and Datsun Redi-Go. I thing I want to mention is that, I still am not able to find any equivalent (technically capable) replacement of My Linea 😊

@@ravitejathestranger5587 I have a special treatment called Turbofield Nano Treatment. This actually cleans polishes seals and repairs the metal . As a result noise vibration harshness friction heat and wear and tear are reduced . Reduced friction extends the life of the metal parts inside of the engine. Due to sealing and metal repair the piston compression sealing is improved and fuel burns optimally. Very less carbon generation and due to sealing of metal no new carbon deposits happen . So engine can last for lakhs of kilometers.
My own car has done 3,85,795 kilometers and still running like brand new.16 year old car .

I feel so sad to even think of Fiat going out of India.
They produced great engines (still used in maruti and tata cars), were built like a tank (even better than VW/Skoda), more fun to drive than Ford's, even reliable than the Koreans cars.
Much more than that, they were cars built to touch a drivers heart and keep his soul in complete control.
I miss you Fiat, please come back.

Have you ever driven a Ford Fiesta 1.6S ? It drives better than most cars in sub 20 lakhs category till date. Steering feedback, high speed stability, cornering is still unmatched. Even with only 101bhp, it doesn't feel that underpowed.

I too bought almost a 11 yrs old Italian Beauty. (1.3 L Multijet Emotion VARIANT Fiat Linea, Colour : Silver) though I have the capacity to buy an Used BMW Sedan in that budget range of starting around from 12L-16L with EMI facility. But I did not go for that option.... WHY????.....
Because, its an robust car in that segment of current frame of life, where I can able conquer the road from each entangles... Power, thrust, mileage and the build quality... And also the stability of that used car @170 kmph in Indian Four Lane Road Conditions, after having the ODO Meter Reading of beyond 85000. 00 Kms.....

You have rightly said that car manufacturers are giving such features in cars which is making users lazy. Man maximum and machine minimum is the right approach.Engine, suspension, gear box, air-conditioning,safety are basic necessities which should be taken care of. Cosmatic features does not make any vehicle value for money.
Well said. But people look for other features rather than these. Hence the company is also manufacturing with more focus on unnecessary features.

I also used both Fiat Linea Diesel 2010 and Fiat Linea T jet Emotion with CNG for a long duration of almost 5 years but if you didn't want any hustle than Fiat must be Company maintained only with genuine spare parts, it will never let you face any bad experience. No other company was there on that time when these model launched who offers such brilliant ride and handling quality. There is only a drawback ----its resale value which disappoint you every time........Proud Owner

True initial pick up higher in 75bhp dzire vdi than 90bhp vitara breeza zdi
Cause dzire is lighter in weight and 1.3 fiat engine performs best in less weight cars it is not built for suv with more weight and big tyres.

To buy a used especially Fiat Linea is not a wise decision.
As regards used cars I have a rich experience. I bought my first used car in 1997, a Fiat premier Padmini. Right now I have SX4 ZXI 2009 CNG, I bought it in May 2020. This is my 19th used car since 1997. I have purchased it for Rs.90000. There was only one fault of air condition. It was rectified by replacing a new compressor worth of Rs.7500.

What I have learnt from this process that is an ultimate benifit. Now I don't required any mechanic. I can repair my car on my own behalf. I have complete tools as required for a mechanic.

In a nutshell to buy a used car is far much better than a new one but you have some knowledge of automobile.

does damaged Steering knuckle joint required to replace jumper also? I have wagon R lxi model 2012.... Please suggest
No . Best thing is you get it inspected . When you get this work done remove the jumper and get it inspected for any damage.
But first question is how did you damage the knuckle joint . Did you hit the divider . The answer to your question lies there .
So best option is inspection of the jumper
@@MrKhabbu i have purchased my car from true value...but that time i didn't notice the problem....when i go to garage for alignment they told me to check knuckle joint & jumper for damage. Because their meter shows the reading of 1.22 on left side wheel.
