  • Derek Richard Dietrich (born July 18, 1989) is an Homerun Pimp for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut on May 8, 2013, with the Miami Marlins. Prior to playing professionally, Dietrich was laying the pipe at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio and played for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He is best known for flexing on soy boi "B Team" pitchers who wouldn't stand a chance against the swag of Mr. Dietrich.

The problem is that there is a fine line. You're ok with players doing this after hitting a HR, but would you be ok if a batter hit a HR, looked at the pitcher and said something "you fucking suck, i just crushed that ball off you" ??? Would that be ok to YOU? Maybe, and others too... but to some people it wouldn't be. Would it be ok if a batter took the bat, acted like it was his dick and jerked it off and did the spray action toward the pitcher after hitting a HR off him? It would be funny as hell, but would be ok? Some people (stupid people) would say yes, but obviously it wouldn't be ok. Would be ok if a batter hit a HR and stood there for literally 30 seconds? (seriously, count out 30 seconds and see how long that is). 30 seconds too long? How about 25? 20? 15?? 5?? See my point? Where do you draw the line? Someone might think standing at homeplate for 5 seconds after hitting a HR isn't bad, while others think it's too long and disrespectful. What makes one person's opinion more valuable than another's? If i said "Dietrich is being disrespectful and being an asshole" , im not wrong... but of course im not right either... it's my OPINION. That also means all of you saying this is ok are also not right. Personally, i appreciate good sportsmanship. My MAIN problem with what this hitter is doing is that he's a lifetime .251 hitter and hitting .222 this season.... thus making him a huge hypocrite, and i FUCKING HATE hypocrites. Why isn't be showing this swag when he strikes out? Ok, it makes sense for him not to.... but here's an even tougher question: Why doesn't he tip his hat when a pitcher strikes him out? And there ya go.. proof that this dude is a fucking douche bag. Go watch Miguel Cabrera play.... class act and much respect for the game and the players.

Now looking back.. the Marlins would’ve been a very very good team if everything never happened, starting with Jose (RIP) would’ve had a stack studded Outfield in Yelich, Stanton, Ozuna.. Realmuto behind the plate , Derrick at 1st Dee Gordon , Prado @3 man.. it’s unfortunate

But I do get upset about pitchers throwing at their head. Not right. But if a pitcher going to throw it over the plate well he's going to get what he's deserves. Oh by the way. John cook I bet you never say that to my face. Punk
