    Yes. That's the z score for a sample proportion. Do you know the values for p-hat, p, and n? If so just run the 1-prop Z test. The z = near the top is the z you're looking for.

    is there anyway where i can use the TI-83/84 to solve the z=p-hat-p/ srt (p-h)(p)-n ?

    I know how to find the Test Statistic Z and P-Value, but what do these 2 do/prove? I'd like to know more than just knowing how to use an equation.

    You would like to know the interpretation then. You need to view a theoretical video rather than a video showing examples on technology. See MrDaveBlev's video titled: What the test statistic and p-value tell us
