okay but how would i manually type this on my calculator bc my answer comes out different when i type it myself vs when i use the built in TEST feature
Thank you for your video you taught me how to calculate the 1-proportion z Test. I have been struggling for 1 hour on only 1 problem on my review. I couldn't figure it out by hand and i have the calculator for it, i wanted to learn how to solve these Test Stats by hand and with computing it in the Ti-84 calculator. I thought its best to learn both ways just in case if one way doesn't work out I always have another way to find the correct answer just in case if I were to mess up one way over the other. I could not figure it out by hand for the life of me so I decided it's time for me to learn how to solve with the Ti-84 since I can't seem to get this 1 right. You showed me how to compute the numbers I had and it was the right answer on my calculator but on my paper I had it wrong. My Stats class is online now and I have to teach myself everything and it's not easy I am spending hours and i need to hurry up to cover every chapter on my test , thanks to the Corona Virus i have to learn this way. But if I don't pass this stats class i don't pass the semester, this is my last credit to go on to a 2 year bachelor program. This video is going to help me for my test thank you sooooo much! God bless you , you saved me!
my questions arent yes no, i have questions given with mean and SD results, i dont know how i am supposed to find x when i am not given a percentage of a certain response of the sample size
The significance level is compared to the p-value (0.186) at about 3:50 in the video. The Greek letter "alpha" is shorthand for the significance level, so we're checking whether the p-value is bigger or smaller than than alpha. Because the p-value (0.186) is bigger than alpha (0.05), we do not reject H0.
Are the individual observations percentages? If that is the case, then if the individual observations are being averaged, it would be appropriate to use a 1-sample mean method. If that is the case, then below is a video that may be helpful: ruclips.net/video/h-rzzBHMHaQ/видео.html The video after that one in the playlist covers confidence intervals.
Praise the Lord for this video! I hate that Stats Lab says use technology to find your answer, but they don't tell you how to use technology! Thank you!
This was the only video that actually showed me how to calculate the p-value. Thank you!!!
Same here. I spent so much time looking.
Thank you! I've been trying this for two hours and it finally clicked and I heard the bell in my head!

You have no idea how much this helped! Thank you so much

Thank you! took me more than 24 hours to understand that I needed 1 propztest to calculate this!
The TI 84 plus CE came out in 2015. Why has hardly anyone made videos on how to use it? It's completely different!
The way my problem is set up, I cannot find x.
I almost cried over this, thank you.
This video just saved me lol finals tomorrow and I’m stressseeddd🥴
Thank you I was so close to just dropping out honestly 😂😂😂
same

Where did the "5% significance level" come into play here? I don't see it anywhere in the equation, or being input in to the calculator

@@OpenIntroOrg Thank you.
I wish I could give her an award.
The problem I’m trying to solve is %’s of items in a package… not a yes or no question. Help?
