nope roy actually at a disadvantage since she's the only player in her team, with a 100% garbage advantage against roy was i belive only 50%. with her keep clearing lines literally is giving roy ammo to stack up, that's why once he stabilize in the end game he can combo his way through and drop a huge stack on suisei which gives her no room to counter it. and from the mini screen roy seems to be using one of the most effective strat in tetris 99 which is the 4 wide strat which allows him to keep his combo up
@@ariavachier-lagravech.6910 no she only played him for 10min or so in her 3rd or 4th match which is pretty much a standard tetris 99 round, with how she played without any strategy such as the 2 wide, 4 wide or stall strats it's impossible to go past 30 min in tetris 99 sure how well she did with reaction alone is good but at the same time she was making quite a lot of mistakes too. and at most tetris 99 the longest I've seen is around 30 min which is a battle between the no1 and 2 players which is amemiya and doremy a few months back, and amemiya was using a very defensive stall strat while doremy was using a very offensive 4 wide strat.
Suisei's overall image is very coherent; contrasted with the childish Miko and the seiso Sora, she occupies a very specific niche of that "school idol who's perfect in everything, particularly good at tetris/solitaire/chess/whatever, but also secretly a yandere".
I'd personally love to see a Vtuber (ANY VTUBER CAN JOIN) Tetris tournament, a lot of people would say that'd be boring because meh Suisei would win BUT to that I say... there's a lot of competitive Vtubers. Imagine all the vtubers practicing in streams, watching Sui clips, watching pro clips, getting pointers from chat, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, someone other than Sui would emerge victorious. IT WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS TO WATCH. And even if Sui wins, watching all the streamers practicing for this very moment would be so much fun. And hey, if Sui wins (or loses?) maybe they could actually invite Doremy, Roy or Amemiya, or maybe even all of them, and have them battle any of the vtubers who want to try, would be fun to watch, and would show just how scary pro's are. And hey, could have a few matches between the three of them if they invite all of them. :P

@Cpl. Rook last time I played tetris was in my famicom in the 90s, damn man i feel old, i fell old haha
I swear her mind processing level surpasses regular brain processing
Dude, talking while playing in such pressure is just impressive. Let alone that she's doing this in front of thousands of viewers, live.
It's fun watching this years later and being able to recognize the 4-wide setup she does at the start.
The subs are really professional! Legible AND smooth to read. Thanks!
and the fact that she's still interacting with her chat while playing?? legend
Wtf it's been 3 years? This is one of the few videos that got me to know who suisei is and she was the sole reason why i entered the vtuber rabbithole. How time flies...
Can't wait to see Sui vs Doremy
And Wumbo
she lost, in a recent tetris stream. Doremy was in. Doremy won the game, Suisei was 5th.
Doremy and Suisei have now played 4 times, Doremy won 3. The fourth match was taken by another pro sniping, but they were both right behind at 2 and 3.

I don’t fear the “pro Tetris players” who are full time gamers and have fun. I fear Tetris players with names like “I
Hey Sun, how are things back at Vacuo?
The scary part is, this isn't just limited to Tetris. You see someone with a fairly wholesome name like that, and you know you just triggered Nightmare difficulty.
@@Lyralye23 not very good considering Salem's on the loose
yooooooo sunn what happens on volume 10 we gotta know
@@sayounsang This is my mom lol, she's insane at Tetris :P
Roy: hoo, you're approaching me? Instead of running away you're approaching me?
Suisei: i can't beat the shit out of you i can't get closer
Roy: ho hoo, then come closer as you like
*menacing tetris battle*
Suisei: Thats just how humans are
Press X to doubt Suiseis humanity
suisei in tetris, the only Vtuber who make stream sniper call a top-rank player to help beat her...
idk the system, but if she can hold the #2 for around 4 minutes ,suisei maybe are top rank tetris too, right?
nope roy actually at a disadvantage since she's the only player in her team, with a 100% garbage advantage against roy was i belive only 50%.
with her keep clearing lines literally is giving roy ammo to stack up, that's why once he stabilize in the end game he can combo his way through and drop a huge stack on suisei which gives her no room to counter it.
and from the mini screen roy seems to be using one of the most effective strat in tetris 99 which is the 4 wide strat which allows him to keep his combo up
Well the truth is it is not 4 minutes. This clip only shown the end. She actually wage war with him for an hour
@@GarethXL sasuga WARUDO RANKA DA.
@@ariavachier-lagravech.6910 no she only played him for 10min or so in her 3rd or 4th match which is pretty much a standard tetris 99 round, with how she played without any strategy such as the 2 wide, 4 wide or stall strats it's impossible to go past 30 min in tetris 99
sure how well she did with reaction alone is good but at the same time she was making quite a lot of mistakes too.
and at most tetris 99 the longest I've seen is around 30 min which is a battle between the no1 and 2 players which is amemiya and doremy a few months back, and amemiya was using a very defensive stall strat while doremy was using a very offensive 4 wide strat.
@@GarethXL so she's just lucky, that's the impression I get from reading both your comment
It’s actually incredibly impressive that she was able to hold out this long.
She held out pretty well against the top 2 player. Hololive has some really amazing talent.
we don´t need a face reveal; we need a IQ reveal
The little sounds she makes everytime she finishes a line is so cute 😖
Suisei's overall image is very coherent; contrasted with the childish Miko and the seiso Sora, she occupies a very specific niche of that "school idol who's perfect in everything, particularly good at tetris/solitaire/chess/whatever, but also secretly a yandere".
A yandere with *STRATEGIC* planning sounds very, VERY detrimental to my health....
Iirc this exact "jack of all trades" trait was actually a hindrance for Suisei in joining hololive.
And a shotacon, though that's not really a secret anymore.
Kukuku
This play is incredible
This vid is freaking awesome!
*“alright now, let‘s send her to the shadow realm“*
- Roy, probably
she talking while playing is so incredible, i cant do that at the same time ..
I saw a stream of her playing tetris and thought “just how good is she”
Safe to say my question has been answered after watching this video
I just love how she goes "yoisho" and "hoi"
@alvi syahri That wasn't a tourney, it was just Sui collabing with different vtubers, Tamaki, Coco, and Haato, in different videos just clipped together into one video,.
The more impresive is that she stream and talk while playing
I'll do you one better, she can SING while playing Tetris.
You can almost hear roy muttering to himself "The Force is strong with this one..."
gotta love how uyeshota is just chillin’ down there in 9th lmao
i was waiting for someone to notice this lol
Bruh, i literally thought that i was playing this video in 2x speed cuz thats what i usually do and when i was like lets see it in normal speed now and realised that it was the normal speed
What kind of veteran vs prodigy battle was this, I could even keep up watching
Susei against friends: defeats them in 20 seconds
world no. 2: I think not.
Amemiya should collab lol
Lmao
That would complete sui's training arc.
guess what they just did a 1v1 on a Japanese TV show recently

I'm about to destroy this esports tetris player's whole career
She's actually insane though wtf
Me: *losing braincells by catching every blocks she placing with my eyes*
Suisei: *playing and talking at the same time*
Her brain must be playing in automatic to play this fast.
Imagine if Suisei wasn't talking during the match and just focused
still would probably have lost
Wouldn’t have mattered, but at least we could’ve seen her full power
epic battle
I couldn't even see the blocks falling they just appeared on the place.
This is what is considered a HyperTapper in Tetris. And Suisei is really good at it.
I thought I was good at tetris. I thought wrong
Suisei is just kind of good. Far from the top. Roy and the rest at the top are way too good...
I've heard Suisei was good at tetris so this is my first time seeing her play. The first thing I though was
*_WHAT IS THIS GODLY POWER_*
1:11 i thought she was gonna drop a "i reject my humanity, JOJO" here
*sad wry noises*
There is something awfully amazing about a waifu battling a real life pro and being able to keep up with him.
more intense than any movie dropped this year
Suisei: yabeyabeyabeyabeyabeyabeyabe
Subtitles: “Oh dear, I seem to have gotten myself into a predicament.”
The fact she plays tetris, and is good at it, quickly makes her my favorite VTuber.
while pekora and moona are having their slice of life anime
Here's sui chan being a shounen anime protagonist
Another vtuber with skills of a legend
1rst player: Cave dwelling neckbeard
2nd player: Cave dwelling anime girl
No one's gonna talk about how cute suisei is when shes clearing lines she would say "oi oi" 1:40 and "oisho oisho"
She just has the chillest panic I've ever seen. I would be internally freaking out during such a tense moment with how fast the pieces go and how stressing the music becomes.
Well for us tetris players it is instinct we don't actively think about where to place the pieces, its a lot easier than you would think.
Humble... Humble she is.
When she started saying Yabai in a small voice, she knew she ain't winning at all. Lmao
Roy: I won! I beat a Vtuber live!
Doremy, Almighty Lord of Rhythm Stacking and T-Spins and the Final Boss of Tetris 99: *_ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF..._*
One mentioned that there are quite a number of times Suisei and Doremy crossed paths, and the result of their head-to-heads are 3-1 in favor of Doremy.
