Thankyou Fr :) One of the greatest cures for grief when I lost my parents was 'gratitude' for having known loved & been loved by them. Gratitude for all the seemingly small every day things is a wondeful thing to foster & very healing. ❤
Thank you Father Mark-Mary for this message of gratitude! I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I will never ask why to God, because I know I will be healed and He is showing me what truly matters in life. I am grateful for his promises that He will fight this battle for me! Thank you Lord for I surrender this illness! Thank you Lord for opening my eyes to all the blessings you give me each day! All glory and honor to you our Father!
Such a simple task to do, practicing gratitude daily. One thought that helps me is thanking the Lord for allowing me another day of life each morning. Without life, I have nothing 😊
Amen This is what I needed to hear..I need to practice more gratitude to my God and all things will fall into place...Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻you are so humble F Mark..May God continue to bless you
I just had a dream last night that reminded me of being single in my early 30s and it stresses me out. After waking up this morning, I prayed that God would take away this anxiety. Then you mentioned that at 5:00. I think this is a reminder that my focus should always be Jesus.
Beautiful, father. Thank you and thank God that you are journeying more and more deeply spiritually. I will keep you in prayer and on my screen and in my ears!
We have so much to grateful for and need to thank God for everything good or bad in our lives. For me, it is a daily ritual to be thankful for all the blessings in my life. Thank you Lord Jesus.
Just wanted to share too. Forgot which video I got this, but during times when we feel like not being grateful, take the effort of finding the good, even with the smallest things. Eventually, you'll reach the gratitude flow. Every night, I list down things I'm grateful for. It's become a chore sometimes, but every time I do it, I'm just happy I enter the gratitude flow. Even the act of pushing myself to write my daily gratitude, I become grateful for. I become grateful for the chance to look back on the things I may have neglected and become grateful for it. It's a beautiful habit. I hope you can give it a try :)
Fr Mark-Mary, thank you for this video! It was so timely, praise God! But I wanted to share how much the movie “It’s A Wonderful Life” came to mind. I know it’s such a well known story, but I wanted to reflect. George Bailey has given up so much for others throughout his life, his goals and dreams of traveling the world to stay and help his family, he gives up his honeymoon for the sake of helping his neighbors in the Great Depression, and he gives up on power and prestige to serve others faithful according to his conscience. But he gets caught up in worrying about what others have that he doesn’t (money) and when the storm comes, he considers throwing away the most valuable gift he’s been giving. Of course, he chooses to be grateful at the end and recognizes the bountiful gifts God has given him through his family, friends, and community. When we truly love and value the gifts God has given us by His most gracious will above all else that we are no longer burdened with cares for what we don’t have. Why? Because in Christ, we have everything. AMDG
Gratitude is an action step for me. I first act out of gratitude, then the sense of being grateful follows. I believe that God allows me to see it or sense it only after I have acted. It doesn't arise simply by thought or even contemplation. I must confess it and act. Thanks for the video.
GRACE=Acronym used for daily examen as taught in local diocesan paper. G=Gratitude. Incorporated the habit of logging 3 daily Gratitudes into the examen. 3 Good things (big or small) from the day are written.on a simple steno pad. From the sunrise in the morning to the butterfly landing on a flower during my daily walk. E=exultation. Since all good things come from God, the scripture passage fits
“Let us pray for young people everywhere.” Lord, may your Spirit nourish their hopes and goals, may they be peace searchers, and may their hearts be set on creating a world where justice rules. Let us make a prayer to the Lord.” “That our kids proceed in life with desire and hope, that they have the fortitude and excitement to meet the problems of our times, and that they learn to grow in God’s love.” Let us make a prayer to the Lord.”

Ladies, how do you avoid being envious of women who are extremely beautiful, have a significant other, wealthy, and with a fun outgoing personality? I am intimidated by opinionated and assertive women. I feel so small compared to them. I am always wish I had what others have
As a lady myself (and one of those assertive and opinionated women you speak of)… You can start by fixing / adjusting your own crown and remembering that you are a princess, just like me, since we are both daughters of the King of Kings :)
Who is grateful for Fr. Mark-Mary? ✝❤😀
Me! Me! Me!❤
Meeee ❤
Me!
Me
Amen
Thankyou Fr :)

Thank you Fr! Early in my journey through sobriety I was taught to adopt an attitude of gratitude!❤😊
Thanks!
First, this is a great subject!
Love this Fr.
Thank you, that's true

Honestly I would pay 9.99 for your advice
It's true what you are saying, but I am drowning in depression. I struggle to find gratitude.:(
“For $9.99.”

Why did that make me laugh so hard?!🤣
