    Really liked the different sizes and models of John Deere tractors at work. This really shows the benefits of the front wheel drive. John

      You aren't kidding! I have gotten pretty decent at is over the last few years. I was terrible when I started. It's tough!

    Loved the video! Seriously looking at the 4052r/4066r myself, it just seems like a great machine. Subbed!

      @@IndyFarmLife that's awesome. Honestly, at a roughly 6k higher price for the 4066r, if the 4052r feels like it has plenty of grunt (looks like you do similar chores that I'll be doing on my acreage), that's a pretty easy decision haha. Thanks again, and keep up the content!

      @@IndyFarmLife awesome info, bro, thank you! I'm honestly expecting about 75% of the work the tractor will be doing, will be front-end-loader related (grapple would be awesome), or fairly simple PTO work (post hole digger, rear blade work, skidding logs, etc.) 52hp it is! Thanks again for taking the time to reply, and I look forward to seeing future vids!

    Can you drive that trailer on the street with out it turning over I just bought one and need to move it

    • @IndyFarmLife
      @IndyFarmLife  Год назад

      Yes you can. It will probably safely tow about 35 mph. Slap a slow moving vehicle sign on it and be safe. Safety chains would also be a good idea.

    How ya like the hydrostatic transmission? Any input on the power reverser? Thanks.

    Indy, nice video. How do you like your 4052R? What grapple is that and are you happy with it? What is your extra hydraulic setup. Looks like you have the 3rd, 4th and 5th SCV. Any additonal modifications?

      @@IndyFarmLife Thank you for the information. I watched all your videos pertaining to your 4052R, great vids! I'm in the market and trying to narrow down which 4 series I want/need. I've ruled out the 3 series as I don't think they'll have enough for what I'm looking for. Plus I don't want to regret my decision. I really like the 4 series frame, I was glad to see your videos showing how agile it was going through trees as I have a good many on my place. I'm leaning towards the 4052R over the 4044R as I think that extra HP will ensure I have enough for future attachments/jobs. Any particular reason you went with the wicked root grapple over the John Deere/frontier versions?

      @@IndyFarmLife Thanks again for the information. I think I'm sold on the 52. One suggestion (in addition to your bells and whistle video) is do a walk through of the additional SCVs you added (with part numbers). I see a lot of videos where guys say I added Top and Tilt or 4th and 5th SCV, but never give the part numbers of what included in their build. With so many different configurations available, it'd be nice to see exactly what is on your tractor. Your set up looks exactly what I'd like to have installed on mine.

    When purchasing your 4052r, did you consider the M series at all? Did you sit on one and notice a huge difference? On your 4052, did you consider the 12 speed power reverser at all? And finally what made your friend get a 4105 instead of the 4520 or similar of the age? Thanks for making these videos
