Picking between Pau and Dany is like choosing between food and water! Dany’s rasp is so right for their heavy rock songs, and Pau can’t be matched for tearing your heart out with her slower songs!! Their harmonies together are unmatched! But don’t short Ale’s voice just because she doesn’t like to lead, she has a wonderful low sultry tone that the other 2 sisters can’t match! That is why they sound so good together!!!😊🎶⚡️
Dany & Pau: "Hey, Ale, you wanna sing lead?" Ale: "No, that’s too much attention on me. But I WILL sing gorgeous alto harmonies and angelic falsettos." Dany & Pau: "DEAL‼️"
Pau is really good at heart-rending ballads like “23,” and she can also do sassy like in “Narcisista,” but I can’t think of another song where she gets to show off her belt like “Dust to Dust.”
About the singer question. The cool thing is that we don’t need to choose, they select who is going to sing according to what works or sounds better. So, our general preference is their wise selection.
Pau is extremely talented. She's got a computer on her left side from which she runs the click track, any backing tracks and the video show in back of the drum set plus any light show. She's got to have at least a quad processor in her head. She's a musical genius as are her sisters. Both songs come from their second LP named "Queen of the Murder Scene". It's a concept album basically a musical novel most from the mind of Paulina. It's a brilliant album. The live show at Lunario is when they did the entire album live.
@@gregoryvlchek269 Especially not if the screen shows them play live. If they have pre-recorded videos on the screen they are synced to the backing track that Pau controls.
Now that's "The Warning" I know . Ale, the Bassist created this Dust to Dust groove at age 11.. The drummer PAULINA aka PAU 💥 POW💥 was FAN VOTED BEST ROCK DRUMMER OF THE YEAR AT THE 2023 DRUMEO AWARDS. She's a wonder to this world.. Dany, I could speak all day about her. 💥🤯💥✌️
"Starting out with some Awesome Bass!" That's our Ale-Awesome; world-class Jazz Bassist playing Rock. Ale composed the Bass-line for Dust to Dust at 9 and then adapted it, composing the foundation for the entire song, at 11. At 9 Ale also played the catalog of Jaco Pastorius, greatest Jazz Bassist, widely considered the Greatest Bassist, because it's what every 9 year old does. There's a video of Ale playing Jaco's incredibly difficult Jazz masterpiece "Donna Lee" at 11; Ale wasn't trying to play it, she just played it! These sisters are insanely talented. These 2 songs together are epic, featuring first Pau then Dany on lead vocals. The 3 sisters, master composers, could never make DK longer without ruining it; the pairing of D2D/ DK brilliantly solves it. (Thanks! I love how you kept emphasizing Ale's Bass; I love Rock and Jazz and it's how I reacted the first time hearing The Warning. Pau and Dany are incredible in every way, but I was blown away by Ale because I was watching a 16 year old who was top-tier Jazz Bassist playing Rock; playing so powerfully, yet so crystal clear, and switching between the Bass-line and Melody-line as if was nothing, and then just throwing in Bass-solos. Dany and Pau do so much, but Ale's the foundation of The Warning; with her impeccable timing and perfect pitch she does so much while making it look like she's not doing that much. Ale's the reason The Warning is so incredibly locked-in. Ale seamlessly switching between the Bass-line and Melody line, effectively playing the part of a 2nd instrument, plays a large part in this 3-piece sounding like a 5-piece, and it's how The Warning creates that incredible Wall of Sound. (Dany using a splitter to make it sound like she's playing multiples also plays a substantial part). You can't believe how insane Ale's subharmonics are until you experience them live. I just saw The Warning in Brooklyn again this past September and was up in the front of the balcony, right next to Rudy, in a building constructed to withstand a minor earthquake, yet could it withstand the the Goddess of Thunder who was causing the entire balcony to vibrate so intensely it was frightening, as my teeth, bones, and blood also vibrated? It was Ale: Every time Ale plays those incredible subharmonics all the alarms go off at the Global Seismographic Network.)
The most fierce one of them, Pau on drums, sings typically the softest and sweetest songs meanwhile the most sweet and giggly of them, Dany on guitar, sings the most angry and hard songs. My favorite, the last song I heard played by them, whoever sung it.
When they were younger i preferred Pau’s singing, but Dany rose fast during covid to become not only the greatest vocalist in the group but one of the greatest in the business. Pau is still amazing though
Both of these songs are from Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album released in 2018 when bassist Ale was 13, drummer Pau was 16, and guitarist Dany was 18. The album tells the story of a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness. Dust to Dust, the opening track and prologue, introduces themes of life, death, and deception, setting the emotional tone for the album. The song features a Spanish spoken interlude (the jam session, as you called it) performed by their manager Rudy, usually played on a backing track; however, in the Pepsi Center video, the backing track is mixed much quieter, with crowd microphones turned up so you can hear the audience performing the spoken part. For this performance, the band also added an extended outro that isn’t on the studio recording. Dull Knives (Cut Better), the 9th track from Chapter 3, shows the protagonist’s growing despair and internal struggle, where her evil side is beginning to win. Behind the scenes, the band revealed they tried to extend Dull Knives, but ultimately decided to keep it short, recommending listeners replay it if they feel it’s too brief.
You may need to start a new playlist.. this show is 23 Songs. In my opinion, it's the best Live trio concert on RUclips... Both of these tunes were written by these young ladies when they were very young.. hell, they're still very young.. 🤘🎶✌️
These three sisters are a combination of excellent musicians, great voices, talented songwriters and incredibly hard workers.... Rare indeed that ONE family has such a combination!! As far as lead vocals I would pick all three sisters!! Dany has the grit, rasp and dynamic voice of a great rock singer while Pau has a smoother tone but still brings great energy and Ale has a smoky, sultry tone that we hear so seldom but is really, really good...
Dany for sure. she is technically the best singer in the band. that being said pau is my favorite singing. she brings the emotion. but also a great deal of the fun of pau singing lead is she doesn't do it all the time, it's like a special little treat when she does.
As for who I'd like to see front more, that would be Ale. She's got a smokey quality to her voice, and her falsetto is angelic. You have 3 exceptional front women in this band. ❤️⚡🤘 Great reaction!
Pau sings most of the Warning songs that hit me hardest emotionally, but Dany deserves to be the main lead singer. Her power, range and vocal phrasing exceed Pau’s.
I'm not sure if you figured it out by this time, but this video consisted of two different songs that they linked together with a transition. They are both from the same album.
Dany with her growl is the perfect front woman, Pau has such control over her vocal fry and clean notes, and both of them have beautiful voices. And the sleeper of the group, Ale has a GORGEOUS, smoky voice with a beautiful vibrato and really good range, but she hates singing. The only time you'll hear a professionally recorded instance of her singing is during the song 'Choke', and that's just a couple lines, so when you get to that song (This same concert) listen for it and savor it.
I prefer Dany's grit and range. On the other hand, some of my favorite songs have Pau as the lead. For example, Dust to Dust, Sharks, and 23. You can't go wrong with either singer.
Danys Guitar work is fantastic here, not mentioned. Pau has said she doesn't want to sing Lead anymore because its so tiring with all the backing vocals she has to do while Drumming. Both are incredible singers with amazing voices... Try "Hell You Call A Dream" LIVE At the Pepsi Center and you will hear just how incredible Dany's Vocals have reached!
Welcome back to The Warning . . A rabbit hole that has been known to change people . . WARN your family . . 😉 Till next time take care . Bye from New Zealand 👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
Although Dany (guitar) IS considered the lead vocalist, Paulina sings quite a lot also but it's mainly Dany. I love both voices equally! Great reaction !!! P.S. Why does the video ( that you're reacting to) disappear every time you speak? Also, this is 2 songs. Didn't seem like you were aware of that, my bad if you were!
No favourite lead singer for me .Both Dany and Pau are great at the role that they are performing .The performance , lighting and sound were top notch , my only slight irritation was with the camera work / editing , for one example the camera should have been focusing on Pau , for when she was doing the drum fils , on the Dull knives song near the end . Cheers man.
Great reaction bud. Subbed and liked for more of TW. I love Pau and the way she sings but Dany is the front woman for a reason. Her energy and attitude is contagious and can’t be matched even by her sister that comes in at a close second ❤
I suggest: "Revenant" from the 2023 Teatro Metropolitan conceret, "Revenant" is an acoustic performance with a guest guitarist and Paulina sings lead but out from behind the drum kit; "Disciple" from Pol'and'Rock festival; "More" and "Evolve" from the 2023 MTV VMAs; "Automatic Sun" from the 2024 MTV EMAs; "S!ck" official music video; "Martirio" omv; "Choke" omv; Metallica "Enter Sandman" with Alessia Cara and The Warning omv for the Metallica Blacklist album; cover of "You Ought to Know" by Alanis Morrisette from the Sirius XM studios in NYC; the full Pepsi Center concert song by song, which these two songs are from. Revisit "Dull Knives" from The Warning Cave some time, their home basement studio recorded August 15, 2020 for the DeTour charity virtual concert during the pandemic. Lzzy Hale saw their performance and afterwards invited TW to tour with Halestorm after the pandemic restrictions lifted, which they did in 2022 for 38 shows, then again this October along with Evanescence for 9 shows in Canada. Which one do I prefer singing lead? They each take lead at the appropriate time but are interchangeable when they need to step in, such as when one is a bit ill or needs a break, though their vocal ranges and qualities differ from one another. Alejandra, the bassist, will take lead when Daniela is feeling ill. FYI: Paulina, drummer, has said she would like to sing lead more but it is very difficult to drum and sing more than she does, despite the fact she makes it look easy and effortless. She runs on the treadmill while singing to simulate drumming while singing. I believe Daniela does as well, and possibly Alejandra since she does not run out of breath when taking lead at time.
All three are great, but for me, Ale is the gravity of the band, that’s why I discovered the band and Ale is getting better and better, supermodel playing a machine gun!!!
Ale vocals 100% melts my soul so theres that, but no way could i pitch dany against Pau, They both fit like a glove on the song at hand, awesome reaction, Thanks!
My pick is Ale singing lead on River's Soul. Serious answer though, doesn't matter. The band is great because they can bring different things to the party that work so well with each other. Literally do not care who is singing as long as I'm listening to The Warning.
All of the others from the pepsi center were released as single tracks. They made this a twofer because that transition is literally nothing. Also I love Dany and Pau's vocals equally. Just as I love Ale equally. They are one cohesive group of beautiful people. A group that any parent would be proud to have their child look up to. Very rare these days.
Hola amigo. The Warning nos une.
There ain't no prefer. They are ALL top notch singers, any one of them can carry the band. the harmony of the 3 of them is the magic. Only a fool picks one.
Being one of the OG’s very difficult to pick, which is the better of the 2 mile wise to you is that particular concert the Pepsi Center concert go watch Danny do it when I’m alone acoustically go watch Powell doing black holes and breathe. You will appreciate them as singers. Danny’s the official front person so she’s more visually. Kind of a true more true rock voice again pal give so much emotion, love connection. It’s hard to compare like everybody says don’t pick does enjoy both of Them.
Dany is the best over all singer But Pau is also World Class... Ali is an incredible Bass player but she is a great backing Vocalist also and could sing lead if she wanted to...
How can I pick one singer? Both are amazing. I think it's great Pau gets to give Dany a break for a few songs each show and it would be too much for Pau to sing all the songs and drum, especially given her level of intensity. I am a guitar guy, so I am a Dany fan overall but each member is so special.
It's almost impossible to choose between these two excellent singers, but it's indisputable that Dany is the one with the greatest vocal qualities, and it's not for nothing that she's the main one. But in this case, the comparison seems to me to be pointless. As you get to know The Warning more you discover that they have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… All of this is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the oldest young band in the world of rock. Without forgetting that there are only three of them, yes, but three true geniuses in their field. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the key changes, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! The new masters of rock: The warning ⚡ For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️ .
Ale has a midrange voice (a few bars in the live version of Choke for example) and a wonderful falsetto (Revenant live at Teatro 2022 and More live at the 2023 VMAs). We all wish she would sing more, but she prefers not to.
You kept saying "this song" "this song" So it seems like you think this is all one song so I just want to let you know just in case, this is two different songs. Dust to dust and Dull knives are each different songs. Anyway have a good one.
Both great but different voices. I think I prefer Dany for most of their harder, heavier songs bc her voice is lower and she adds a lot of grit live. Pau has great, raspy vocal that I think suits slower songs more often than not. Reminds me of P!nk a little bit. Regardless, Pau doesnt sing lead much on their ne2 album bc it really takes a toll on her on tour
In a live setting, I prefer Dany as lead singer. Her voice fills the entire venue. Pau's miking is inconsistent--she usually sounds great but not always. That said, I tend to prefer Pau on ballads and she does a great job on backing vocals. Pau is the principal songwriter so it is always great to hear her sing lyrics she mostly wrote. Dany's voice has gotten notivably stronger over the last couple years. She is already one of the very best frontwomen in music.
@@RagnaStar1337 I kind of prefer that you hid the video instead of lowering the musik each time you spoke. We can still hear what you say over the music. To me it's worse when the music goes away while the video keeps playing. So just removing the video and not the sound works to avoid copyright strikes? Good to know. BTW. What singer I prefer depends on the song. Dany has a great rock sound but can't compete with Pau on emotional songs.
Asking which singer I prefer is like asking which kid I love better, I love both.
Ale wrote that great baseline when she was 11 yrs old. Imagine that.❤
Not only that , i think that the song was her idea and also wrote the lyrics , with Pau writing the music .
@@anthonyfisher1670 every time I think about it my head explodes
Another way to put it is that she wrote the baseline after playing the base for 4 years. Somehow that doesn't seem as strange...

X2
The beautiful thing here is the combination of their voices.... They don't compete for who does it best.. You didn't realize it's two songs
We dont need pick one. We have two amazing lead singers and these 3 ladies rock.

DPA ~ TWA ~ UK 🇬🇧
T 🤟
My pick is Ale singing lead on River's Soul. Serious answer though, doesn't matter. The band is great because they can bring different things to the party that work so well with each other. Literally do not care who is singing as long as I'm listening to The Warning.
All of the others from the pepsi center were released as single tracks. They made this a twofer because that transition is literally nothing. Also I love Dany and Pau's vocals equally. Just as I love Ale equally. They are one cohesive group of beautiful people. A group that any parent would be proud to have their child look up to. Very rare these days.
Disciple is awesome too.
You really can't pick one.❤❤
Hola amigo.
Saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina.
The Warning nos une.
BOTH LOVE TO GET ALE TO BE OUT FRONT AS WELL WE ONLY CAN WISH IN TIME 🤞
*((((((( THAT TRANSTION! )))))))*
There ain't no prefer. They are ALL top notch singers, any one of them can carry the band. the harmony of the 3 of them is the magic. Only a fool picks one.
I love both of them, but I prefer danys voice and style.
I subbed 4 more.

🤩😘
Dany or Pau.... I don't care... Even when Ale is lead, they each bring their own style and energy to a song. Long live DPA, Long live The Warning!!
Its two separate songs
Manager rudy is my pick 😂😅
I love both voices. Dani has more of a rock voice and Paulina sings with more emotion I think, but both are great at what they do.
Dany is the best over all singer But Pau is also World Class...
Ali is an incredible Bass player but she is a great backing Vocalist also and could sing lead if she wanted to...
Q: who do you prefer as lead singer?
A: Yes
How can I pick one singer? Both are amazing. I think it's great Pau gets to give Dany a break for a few songs each show and it would be too much for Pau to sing all the songs and drum, especially given her level of intensity. I am a guitar guy, so I am a Dany fan overall but each member is so special.
I prefer when a Villarreal sister sings lead.
And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings…
All of this is masterful.
The new masters of rock:
The warning ⚡
For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.
Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽
🤘😁✌️
.
Almost at the end of the video and finding it funny that you have not figure out that these were two song and not just one!
@@horaciogarcia1609 ya I figured it out way to late lol
In a live setting, I prefer Dany as lead singer. Her voice fills the entire venue. Pau's miking is inconsistent--she usually sounds great but not always. That said, I tend to prefer Pau on ballads and she does a great job on backing vocals. Pau is the principal songwriter so it is always great to hear her sing lyrics she mostly wrote. Dany's voice has gotten notivably stronger over the last couple years. She is already one of the very best frontwomen in music.
For D2D I prefer Pau as lead and for Dull Knives I prefer Dany😂
Drummer singing rare female Drummer rare female singing Drummer rarer than hens teeth
We will not be made to chose our favourite in any way. It's just not the done thing. Wash your mouth out with soap young man!
Please don't take down the video during your commentary, it is very distracting.
@@sb859 yes I know but it helps from me from not getting a video copyright and having my video blocked. It's happened many times
@TheUnderdogDe I will adjust some sound so it does not get lower unless I pause it
I prefer Dany and Pau bouth are amazing as lead singers
