I come from farming in Wales a long time back. All the farmers I knew back in the 70s & 80s are gone now apart from one family who have been fighting for a decade against expansion of cardiff airport industrial park. They long ago packed in dairy, diversifying into producing wild flower seeds just to survive. I am 10,00000% behind this protest, even though I have lived in Canada for the last 25 years. GO FOR IT GUYS & STICK IT RIGHT UP STARMER'S JACKSY!!!
Evening Andrew I am a small farmer, looking after my dad at moment who had a hip replacement 3 weeks ago. We are both so angry with this government as it affects lots of other business as well. I am seeing lots of support growing everywhere, and there are people who think farmers are just rich and sitting on money !! Good luck from cornwall

Needs all communities ' support ...remember the industries driven by farming ..meat factories , pie manufacturing, dairying, cheese makers , bakeries ,breweries, transport and storage operators, machinery suppliers , agricultural contractors , buildings and processing equipment, millers ,flour making, catering and food ...just to name some. If ever there was a badly drafted policy this one is surely one such. Remember the ballot box when it comes ...best of luck from Ireland.

Wish I could be down there with you guys. Thank you for organising all this Andrew and your fellow social media campaigners. This tax situation is really such a damaging thing to implement. The government must be made to understand it will lead to the end of hundreds of 100 year old farming businesses, for many this can mean the end of life. It's that serious. .. there are far better ways to raise tax revenue. Income tax would only have to go up a fifth of a penny to raise the same amount .. Hope it's a productive day and we don't have to go to further extremes.

If you don’t fight not just for the farmers think about the knock affect farmers go under so does lots of business connected to the farming industry it’s crazy you have to fight lively hood and freedom to cultivate this beautiful countryside seen to many parcels of land go for developments the labour are forcing small farmers out farming it’s a way of life that them clowns in the labour cabinet couldn’t understand what the countryside provides they must go many field go to development villages

If Sir Steer Karma thinks he CAN deal with the farmers in the same way as the miners, he is likely to have to explain to the country why we have moved to a "three day week"... unlike during the miner's dispute - "a three day working week", Sir Steer Karma will have to present us with the reality of a "three day EATING week"!

I hear a lot of people saying that labour don't have an understanding of the issue but I myself believe that they know exactly what they are doing. I believe this is a slow marching land confiscation program disguised as an inheritance tax. They are trying to get all this farmland out of the hands of small private ownership.

You won’t find meet in the shops because it just gets stolen, so shops don’t bother displaying it
Me*t tends to get stored in lockable secure boxes if it's on display. It gets put out unsecured, however, if it isn't hal*l, which is somewhat telling
