- Squirrel Hunting at my bushcraft camp with my Titan hunter slingshot. Slingshots are a fantastic tool for survival and self defence if necessary. My setup is gzk bands 0.72mm cut at 22-12mm and my ammo is 8mm steel
I was carrying my broc kepheart knife, esee 3, gransfors bruks small forest axe, ferro rod and opinel saw as well as my slingshot (obviously) this basic kit will provide you with shelter, fire and food if you have the skills. Anyway enjoy the vid and get out and practice 🎯

Nice job Chris. My dad used to clean them the same way except he stood on the tail and pulled with his hands. You got some strong arms and a good grip there. Nice job starting the fire. I got a magnesium fire starter but have never tried it out. I need to experiment with it. Your son looks to be having fun. He'll never forget days like this. Good on you for teaching him what you know. Thanks for posting.
They are tough little things to skin compared to rabbits. I think I'll have to try out a couple more skinning methods. I've seen guys use magnesium on RUclips and it does seem to be very effective for fire lighting. Yes in years to come we'll be able to look back at this and smile, he'll hopefully be able to show his grandkids long after I'm gone

Titan hunters come today thanks chris .in my opinion this is one off the best slingshots on the market today fits in the pocket like a dream ideal for mooching the slanted tips make a big difference all i can say it will be the best £65 you will spend you wont be disappointed

Haha. I always have to laugh to myself when I see such a cute cuddly little animal give a big guy such a hard time trying to remove its skin. And for a relatively small reward at that. I know, I've been there myself. ;-)

What's your thinking behind using the green band? Is the black band too powerful? (or unnecessary) - i saw a video with a guy testing various balls in ballistic gel - it seemed the 10mm lead came out best overall but.... is that dependent on which band you use? Thanks.

You have to be careful about how hard you pull in case the head comes off in your hand.
The same applies when you are skinning squirrels. 😂

I just bought my first a daisy power line f16 slingshot I plan to squirrel hunt with it one thing Ive notice is sometimes it hard to draw like it wants to wrench my wrist u hold the slingshot with any adivice or suggestions thanks
The best thing I carry in my hunting kit is a short paracord noose , hang it over a branch, put the neck of the squirrel or rabbit in it,make a small slit at the base of the neck and yank away .love your vids even more so mixed with bushcraft.

@@CatapultCarnage one problem with this method its no good if the necks broke ,head comes of,but you won't have to worry with your shooting 😂
Very awesome man. You inspired me a bit back to get into slingshots and i love it. Got a bit of work to do before i am as good as you but i can hit a quarter size group from about 15 feet 😁 keep up the great work cheers from america.

I always carry a small bottle of cooking oil and salt be surprised how much better that squirrel can taste. As far as having the skill that you have with the sling shot well I haven’t I be honest. 👍

What band and bullets are you using sir? And what is the meaning of taper sir?
20 down to 12 mm.? Does that mean the elastic, 20 from the fork down to 12 in the cup, and how long do you have the elastic?

Hi, this is an audience from Russia! great channel! What kind of balls is the best for hare hunting? and which trapeze do you use?
I'm not sure if Russian hare is the same as Irish hare but you can take most small game with 8mm ammo and higher if you are just starting out I'd try 10mm lead and always try to get headshots. Get some 0.8mm gzk bands

nice. in the next one we want to see how to properly clean a squirrel lol (and to make a proper fire).oh and a blowgun it's better on hunting at that distance (10m), no need for a "titan" to do that :)

Try 30mm to 25mm mate but I really do recommend getting on a better band

How do you avoid hand in fork hits using little forks I can’t seem to avoid them I’m scared to shoot a slingshot if the forks aren’t at least 5 inches from the handle

Tubes are shit for anything other than band life or frameless shooters, and flats are better for that to.

8mm... And all the "masters" I've heard say that you can't kill a squirrel with anything smaller than 13mm (1/2") in the states.
