I’m glad that Bald brought this channel to my attention. I love the raw feel. That’s my favorite. I want to see the menial things while traveling. The stopping to get a drink or just look at nothing in particular. Too many travel vloggers think they’re making a glossy television travel show. They take out all of the little things, and just show the edited highlights. But I want to see real life on the road.
I didnt find Ben through Bald....it was either through Harold Baldr (?spelling) or Kurt Caz. Ben and Ben jive well, but backpacker Ben has his own style and flavor in life and it shows in his videos. I felt like he was stifled by Bald a bit. No hate, I love Bald, he is an OG in these type of vids too.
As a Filipino now living in Europe / DK this series makes me miss Philippines even more so thanks for appreciating and showimg the positives about my country. Visit PH with Bald ben would love to see that ❤
Thank you, another great vlogg Ben, ive really enjoyed catching up on your travels since coming here from mr bald a while back. Fast becoming my favorite youtuber, and although your views aren't YET what they should be, its great watching them grow! Love your videos and getting an insight into your adventures dude! I especially love how you dont leave anything out either and are completely unfiltered, a proper Brit! As a Londoner, you inspire me to get out and do much more with my life, thank you! 😊
Hi Ben, glad your enjoying your travels. I'm from Australia living in the Philippines in a place called tabaco city in bicol. Not many foreigners live here and you don't get tourists here but it's amazing. If you both want to come here I will show you around and have a place for you to stay. Would love to meet you both. Stay safe and enjoy.
One of the prevalent root crops in Southeast Asian nations, particularly the Philippines, is cassava. Sweet potatoes, cassava, and corn are primarily the primary foods of lower-class and impoverished families in the Philippines.
Good to see you and your “friend” are back at it. For sure saw you with Bald, but after that very long, all night Amazon boat trip am watching al,your vids.
Jeez Ben well done for trying the food! I’m not going to lie I think I would of turned green… it looks so beautiful around the forest area I bet it’s amazing driving there! Safe travels you two 🥳
I was living now for 12 years in the PH but we are going back to Europe. The climate is too hot and humid. Beside that, Filipinos are amazing people. Will definitely miss them.
No doubt there are a lot of Westerners who love travelling in Asia. Arguably South East Asia as it is inexpensive and the people are genuinely friendlier.
Some balut is better than others. The ideal age is 18 days, but some prefer it earlier or later. A duck egg takes 28-32 days to hatch. The development of those feathers might mean you got a 20 or more day old balut.
Better man than me. There are different stages of balut, the stage you had is the hatchling, but you can get one in the very early stage of development. But I just could not get around to taking even a small bite.
I had a science teacher in 7th grade from the Philippines. She taught at my rural middle school, which had a majority Hispanic/White population. I once walked up to her to ask about Balut because I learned about it online and wanted to see if she tried it. When I asked her about it, her face lit up, and she was surprised I knew about it. She said it was one of her favorite dishes and missed it greatly. Disgusting to some, but many people from the Philippines really like it; definitely an acquired taste.
@INDIA SUPER CLEAN 🇮🇳 . Bullshit your country is dirty as fuk, disgusting dirty people. Your shithole 3rd country is full of scammer, rapist , and murderers. You don't have toliet. And you throw trash all over the place and pollute your own country. Get out of here with the bullshit.
Cassava is a root vegetable. People use the root as a food and to make medicine. Cassava is used for tiredness, dehydration in people with diarrhea, sepsis, and to induce labor. Great video.
Street food are cheaper so i recommend you guy's. If you sit on the restaurant so expensive ,but the differences of Street food they displayed on the streets for cheaper rentals . There are people renting the place to sale foods especially if you are not the Land owners. Every corner Land of the Philippines has the owners.

Btw you only eat balut in the dark if you are a first timer😂😂😂 For us daylight we eat it with so much gusto ❤ also you need to add a dash of salt and vinegar❤ I'm so sorry nobody guided you through it😂😂😂
Pusit, or a miniature squid, calamari type dish, is my favourite Philippines food. KFC Philippine style/with Philippine lager, can't go wrong. Jollibee. White rice huge here, too.
Balut is way more normal than the other things you mentioned at the beginning of the video. I eat balut here in Vietnam every few months. It's pretty good. Don't be such a wuss. It just taste like eggs. You aren't supposed to eat the very hard piece.

But I was lucky and had my khmer friend explain to me how to eat it and what to excpect from the 3 very diffrent parts. I had a beer with it, but imo it really wasn´t that bad.
An old pinoy here majority of pilipinos eat balut its high protein as the old folks back then would say good for making babies after an evening of drinks with friends eat two balut before going home to the missus and youre good for the night he-he-he.
First time I been to the Philippines, it took me 45mins to finish one Balot, with the help of a couple of Red Horse and San Migs...Never tried it again 🤢

Ethiopia food 💀
A bloody Mc Rib from McDonalds . You got me. I just ate scrambled eggs
British food !!
