Song was not written for movie. But was going to be on their next album . Their manager was producing the movie and asked for songs. It was inspired by a trip to NY in 70s and they saw the struggles. Please do Kiss of life, He’s a liar and I could not love you more. Love your reaction ❤❤
Lucky is so cute!❤ I love this song & it is in my top 5! That bombed out town is the set of the old ww2 tv series called "Combat". Yes that is Barry! ❤ For more upbeat uptempo songs, please react to Tragedy! (Very upbeat - not tragic!😂) One, Spirits Have Flown, & Wind of Change. For top tier slower songs please react to Alone and Baby as You Turn Away. These were big hits and you as a fan do not want to miss some of their best songs. Oh my goodness- you havent reacted to Too Much Heaven! Another beautiful hit that will sweep you away! ❤😊❤
The song was not made because it's a dance song it's about hard times, doing what you need to do to stay alive no matter what. They didn't consider disco. They wrote music that told a story it just happen to have a disco beat.
It has a beat that makes you move, but this song is about anguish and survival, almost a tortured cry when Barry screams. Look up how that drum beat was produced. Out of necessity the engineers made a drum loop with their own ingenuity, before drum machines. I always took the walking as a homage to the strutting by John Travolta's character in the movie. You will love getting to know these genius brothers.
Filmed on a movie set. Barry took lead on this one. This song is used for CPR training, even today. It is exactly the right rhythm. Quite a few lives have been saved to the tune of "Staying Alive"! 👍
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! All three brothers had amazing falsetto's, however, Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the most unique falsetto, because in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is rare! They were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed. They span over many decades, & crossed quite a few genres, & if there is music in I believe, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️ Along with all three's amazing falsetto's, they also had very powerful chest voices, & could sing anything in between, & To just show how versatile they were, I would love you to react to their, To Love Somebody in the late 6o's, ruclips.net/video/QHtGu0OGEpc/видео.html Fanny Be Tender, ruclips.net/video/xgDbE6WOyws/видео.html Nights on Broadway, ruclips.net/video/F2SDf42guB4/видео.html
Love the Bee Gees. Barry released the album.. In the now.. It was released in 2016 it's a good album check it out. There is a HBO documentary called How do you Mend A Broken Heart. It's about their lives from the start when they were 6 for Robin and Morris and 9 for Barry they had a full life of what they loved. Also a concert the last that they all 3 did which was done in New York Live By Request on A&E. It was done in 2001 was absolutely wonderful.
