I thought she had an interesting face and skintone, and I liked the jacket and that her jewelry looked metallic. I also think she would look better with rerooted hair. I didn't know about her doll stand and old school body. Wow, the boob comparison. The yellow on the box is from age. From what I have read and seen online about Janay she was a play line fashion doll with several themes and a few friends of other races. I like this doll because I think she has an interesting face sculpt. With Integrity toys I like that they don't keep reusing the same face sculpt over and over again. (Coughs...Nikki...Barbie...) LOL...I wish I could afford to add them to my collection...

Mickey Monroe nowadays they switching it up with the black dolls but on another note the still giving the white Barbies blonde hair and the Millie sculpt 😒😒😒
This was like, generation one on made to move, lol. I love these dolls, too bad Walmart doesn't carry them anymore. I have two from the Egyptian line: queen adora and prince tariq. I had one other, one I got way before them, she had blood red hair like Ariel and wore a red and black outfit. Freaking amazing. I love that coat, damn I'd love to get one and put it on my Begoth dolls, they have bullet boobs like her, lol.
I noticed some of the new integrity dolls hair is rooted the same way I was watching Mike and Elio channel I thought that was odd the one had to be from 2012-2013
i am not certain... i am going to let you guys know as soon as i get her worked on. and you guys can be the judge of whether the price is worth it or not. but i think each artists charges a varying range, dependant on their skill and speed.
I think the way it works is that her shoes fit Barbie better than Barbie's fit her. She may be able to wear Barbie's pumps but her upper arch is a bit thicker than Barbie's. I used to have Charise, which was created by MiKelman but the doll was mfr'd by IT. It and MiKelman fell out and IT kept the body and sculpt. Janay's head tone is way closer to the musician tone than you think. Note that the arm is lighter than the bod and lighter than the musician arm, which is darker than the head you currently have on it. I believe Janay's boobs are a bit larger than the Superstar Barbie body.
Great observations. I also have a So in Style Kara barbie with articulation. i am gonna test that skin tone too, it's in between musician and yellow top.
Many of the Integrity Janay dolls are very collectible ,,,,,Girl I luv your videos , but I cringe sometimes when you start dismantling some of your dolls, swapping the heads around on collector dolls , completely jacking up the hair.,,,lol,,,,but I get it play/enjoy .

As for her hair, the quality does not stand up to the standard of my more modern dolls, so i have arranged for an excellent re-rooter to do her some justice. I dont see why not. Her body is constructed almost exactly like a barbie's. Just a matter of matching skin tones I suppose.
