- After completing two major races this year (Istria 100K and Mozart 80K), I wanted to end this running year by going for a new PB in the half marathon distance! I come from running long distances and hiking, but speed has not been my focus or my strength on short distances. But I'm working on it!
In my first half marathon (Salzburg City HM 2022), I ran 1:55 and I really hope (and think) I can beat this time! Can I run SUB 1:50?
Find out in this video!
Overall, it was a great event! Thanks to the organizers of the "Schlösser Lauf" in Mining, Austria.
Thanks for watching! It's very much appreciated. :)

Great Video!
Thanks!! Appreciate you watching :))
Congratulations, Chris! Great effort!
Thanks a lot!! Worked out well that day :)
Congrats to your new PB! Really enjoyed watching this! 🙌🏼
Thanks a lot! Always nice to see an official improvement ! Especially with a sport that can have ups and downs 💪
Awesome work! Speed is no joke, I could run for hours and hours but when I actually try for speed its tough! Just got under 2 hours a few weeks back 1:56:09 next up is sub 1:50.
Congrats on your sub two hours! Same here. I can run for hours coming from the Ultra/Trailrunning scene. But running quicker paces is hard. Keep at it!! It’s a great motivation to keep training :))
Congrats. I think if you wear a visor instead of a cap it would allow the heat to escape and you won't overheat as much which will help you when you pick up the pace.
Thanks a lot! I am running a full marathon in April. I will consider your advice. Never thought of the over heating issue w the hat. :)
