- I'm back in part 2 of my blind Minecraft playthrough where I discover something worse than architects... I also taste test all the animals, befriend a horse and find out the nob monster's true power... I didn’t think anyone in the world didn’t know that. This is why it’s fun to watch you play. You’re like the only one in existence learning to play the game naturally.
Yeah, I only started playing Minecraft in 2020 (of similar age to RCE), BUT I've learned so much about it through osmosis beforehand that playing it for the first time was a VERY different experience from RCE's :D

@@michaeltagor4238 Obviously there are some people who don’t know, but Minecraft is world wide. The creeper is their universal symbol. Creeper merchandise is sold all over the world.
That’s why it’s surprising that an English speaking person who knew about Minecraft didn’t already know what a creeper was.
@@calvinjohnson6242 I think that was a joke. To explain a bit, they themselves, as an oblivious-to-the-world gamer, thought that everyone knew what a creeper was. I’m sure now they are aware that some people don’t know but they were making fun of themselves as well.

Although it might take a while I hope RCE doesn’t google things about the game and just figures it out by himself. It’s a very rare thing to see someone completely new to Minecraft and I really want to see how far he gets with no help, to me discovering new things about Minecraft is the best part.
There's only so much you can figure out in MC until you end up screwing yourself using that method. There isn't a single person that has played this game, and kept playing, that hasn't, at some point used a guide. It's impossible and the very nature of it forces you to do it. If you don't, you end up digging yourself into a hole. Just my 2 cents.
His Discord is pretty advice heavy so I reckon he'll get some intel even if he doesn't go looking for it XD

It's been so long since I've seen someone completely new to Minecraft that this is very entertaining. Occasionally frustrating, but very entertaining.

This is the most amusement I've ever received from the hundreds of hours of minecraft videos I have watched. I don't think I've ever watched someone learn Minecraft from scratch without using wikipedia. This is the best. :)

This is the closest thing I can get to experiencing Minecraft for the first time again. So enjoyable to watch you discovering all of the mechanincs from scratch

And we didn't get to experience it this way. There was no recipe book. You were forced to google for how to do things very quickly or had to be shown by a friend.

I remember jumping into this game about 2 years ago blind. The only things I knew were that it was blocky, creepers are the worst, and to light up your builds. Everything else was a mystery, and I had no idea why this was one of the most popular games of all time. It's a joy watching someone else find the simple, yet complex, charm of Minecraft. I still get a kick out of making new discoveries.

Just dig the edge of the terra-cotta in the middle but be careful because there’s explosives there, don’t walk in the middle!!

I love how he mines coal, and doesn't know what it's used for, I think his best bet is hovering over everything in his inventory to find out what it is.
What I would give to experience Minecraft for the first time again. The element of surprise is gone for those that have played for years and seeing this really brings me back. Please keep up the videos :)

Quite frankly, i am super impressed with how much of the game you've figured out through experimentation alone, most people (myself included) did a bunch of research to figure this stuff out! I'm really enjoying watching you learn!

Until today I couldn't imagine something being this painful but somehow still maintaining this incredibly funny and sweet vibe throughout. Half the time I feel like screaming at the screen, the other half I'm smiling because watching him figuring out Minecraft is somehow one of the most charming things I've ever seen.

Tips:
Most monsters only spawn in darkness.
Crouching on the edge of a block prevents falling.
You can ride horses if you have a saddle. You have to find one in a treasure chest.
Wear iron armor for now
Make Diamond tools and armor!
This is going to be one of the best series!!! I can already tell.
Please don’t get spoiled too much by information from people tho. Much more fun to find out on your own trust me.

I love the fact that the feud between engineers and architects is universal. Doesn't matter if you're in UK, Germany, France, whatever, it's the same. :))

Just to let you know, the smithing table is extremely late game. Not going to spoil it, but let's say it requires the hardest ingot to get in the game.
