nice, did not know about filter events. thanks for another great tip. I am just about to try to midi map a transcription of larness lewis' drum part from lingus, wish me luck. For metal guys, if you are doing Dual kick patterns make sure the off foot, usually the left foot. so every second kick note should be a bit weaker than the right leg note. It is the natural feel of a drummer.
This s is sooooo timely for me, having just thought about how I might vary up the velocity of some MIDI drums i just recorded. And luckily i just watched the video on named notes which showed how to "de-clutter" the MIDI editor. Sometimes the algorithm actually works!
Hi Kenny, great video again. I have a question: why with MTPowerDrumKit 2, when I put on play, there is a small lag at startup at the level of the first sound with the midi editor view which shifts slightly to the left? On your video, there is not this little delay with the first kick. Thank you

Is there a way too have the midi editor already zoomed in when I open a midi item? I like big chunky midi notes and have to zoom in manually each time. Thanks.
i tried to post an answer but youtube censors it, so fuck them and posting the answer too they apparently started censoring stuff completely unrelated to politics with expletives though they happily put up
Creio que... Preferences > Project > Project Saving > Save to timestamped file in additional directory e escolhe a pasta Mas vai ser a mesma pasta pra todos os projetos.
TEM UMA CONFIGURAÇÃO LEGAL PARA FAZER NO REAPER VOU TE PASSAR AI VC APENAS USA O SAVE PROJECT AS E DIRECIONA PARA OUTRA PASTA O BKUP ruclips.net/video/th9HMgfa-Qs/видео.html
No offence but it looks like Stanley Tucci and Trevor Horn had some bizarre Frankenstein's monster accident in the lab. Excellent video as always of course but those glasses.....I'm gonna have nightmares tonight
There's a script in Reapack called: Select and deselect MIDI notes by step pattern. This helps a lot with selecting and deselecting note patterns.
I haven't found a single one of your videos which wasn't useful but the filter events function was a real "AHA!!" moment for me. Thank you.
Yes Kenny is the future
That's a good selection tip at the end of the video Kenny,Thanks.
Glad you mentioned the filter events thing. I thought it was pretty weird it wasn't in the other video.
This is so simple but SOOOO POWERFUL !!!!
You have stepped it up Kenny!

Filter step you added is mucho appreciated!
Thank you "Kenny from the future" you answered the question I was about to ask. I suppose I should also thank "Kenny from the present" as well.

I thought the first version was brilliant, but this update is money.
Thanks for adding the filter tip. Very useful...
quite handy
Filter Events is like when you forget to include something and you need to find the right place to put it

That's not a rim shot btw, it's a cross stick (or side stick). A rim shot is hitting the skin and rim at the same time.
Это здорово!
Thanks!🙏🏼

Kenny liked the comment, hopefully he addresses this in a video!

Boa noite como faço para que o backup de um projeto seja salvo em uma pasta específica, e não na pasta do próprio projeto.
Creio que...
Preferences > Project > Project Saving > Save to timestamped file in additional directory e escolhe a pasta
Mas vai ser a mesma pasta pra todos os projetos.

Why is Kenny slapping the camera at the start? To get viewers more focused?

His image is irrelevant, it’s his knowledge which matters.
@@UkeofCarl it's a joke. Jesus
@@AceHermes It was hilarious!
much too complicated. just have a quick peek towards Studio One 5+ patterns.
I like the intro song you used here. Is it one of yours?
