The hubs and I visited here when we were in Korea earlier this year. It was so lovely and the people we interacted with were so friendly! Busan in general is amazing. I enjoyed it more than Seoul, I think because of the slower pace of things. Much more chill than the buzz of Seoul.
@ Skinny Girl, you sure or not Korean are friendly? They're damn rude. Come to Malaysia and Thailand, we will understand what is called Friendly & Courteous...
I like Busan people :) and the local dialect/accent is very fun. Also the city itself and the beaches are so nice! I would prefer living there over Seoul.
Hi Mina! How long are you traveling for? Lol you've been gone for so long!! Lucky!! Your parents must miss you so much lol. And Yay another Korea vlog, I miss Korea so much!! Went in end of September to second week of October :)! I'm Korean like you :P Said that before lol. Enjoy your time in Cambodia!
I've been there, it's absolutely beautiful in the Gamcheon Cultural Village! There is so much to do and see, a must for those visiting Busan! And she's right, bring sneakers 😂😂
I've decided that if I ever come to South Korea, Busan is definitely a place I'd like to visit just for the pure wonder of getting lost in the alleyways.
Hi Mina, I believe your channel has to be the best on youtube you make me happy, and your laugh sooh cute, and very informative with great detail please dont give up making vids i want to grow old with you, oh wait a minute i'm already old hahaha
Dauntless hope & unrelenting enterprise has turned, over time, a center of wartime despair & a civic eyesore into a cultural iconic "phoenix" - beautiful!
I lived here for over 4 years and development of the culture village started after I left Korea! It's so cool to see a place I lived in turn into such a vibrant tourist hub :) Gamcheon is split into two places, 감천1동 and 감천2동. Everything uphill where you were filming is 2동! Gamcheon is the oldest area in Korea, with all the buildings being what they originally were ages ago. The government ordered the prevention of new buildings just in order to keep Gamcheon as a traditional memory :D Love Korea and miss it so much
I have visited this part of Busan, and I wish I knew as much as you're telling about it now. Then my experience would have been a lot different I think! Thank you for sharing everything :D
Often preserved historic places are like that. Until you know the background of the place, you don't appreciate the presence. There is some real history in that place, where people in the past lived and died there.
As an artist I want to go to Gamcheon and paint the building. It looks so beautiful. Heard about it from the Korea Tourism advert and I find the place interesting. Just need to earn Korean and save money for the trip.
It was a love-hate relationship with this place. It's beautiful but it was so hard going back to the bus stop, either you take the 200 stairs or the steep road.
This reminds me a bit of the story of Cheonggyecheon Stream (formerly known as Gaecheon), which was once a center of activity (Joseon Dynasty) and later became polluted and neglected (after the Japanese occupation); it was covered up in the 1970s but revived and renovated in the early 20th Century. I've seen pictures of it during the late 19th Century (Joseon) and later in the late 1940s, early 1950s (like a slum) and now it's a beautiful addition to Seoul which I'd like to visit someday.
And your taxi driver is so nice :D
"it's only slightly less jiggly than my thighs." - hahahahaha! you crack me up :] loved this vlog.
Haha i love that the cat didn't respond to hello but when u said annyeong she turned her head LOL

Wow it's so beautiful! (If I ever travel to Korea, I would love to visit there mostly bc of the cats!!!)
trust me, most of the cats will likely to run away but sometimes there are some really tame one and you could play with it :)
