Got it sir, And I developed one short trick also... First find current on both side of main transformer then If Y side ratio of CT is given then just divide the D side ratio by ✓3 and vice-versa if D given then multiply the star side by ✓3 Be cautious while writing the secondary current of CT just keep it same for two side and perform above Operation for answers. Answer will be ready in 5 sec max. Thank you Sir..🔥
@@lecturesinelectricaleng before this video I have many confusion over it,but after seeing this video I will confidentially say that solve any problem based on CT Ratio 💥🙏
Then you just have to calculate the reated current for the HV and LV sides from the MVA rating and Voltage rating of each side. Then you can take the ctr so as to accommodate these value of currents.
My only question is in 2 prob whatever star or delta if sec side is 5 A given then it's output of sec so why it's divided by root 3 .. If we divided it by root 3 That means sec on 220 kv side also 5 by root three as line current is equal to phase ..
When the CTs are connected in delta, to get the output current coming out of the CT is the line current. Hence you need to multiply with Root3. Now, if you are given line value of the current for a Delta connected CTs, you need to divide the line current by Root3 to get the phase value.
Thank you so much sir for this explanation. I am preparing for OPSC AEE exam sir. I have several doubts while solving previous year's questions from IES. Can you help me out sir.
at 9:35, There is a calculation mistake. CT ratio should be 191:1

Can u explain clearly
Wonderful Explanation sir, I was critically confused but you made it clear sir. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for explaining it so well sir..
Thank you so much sir.very great explanation.
Got the clarity sir how to take currents..thank you sir
Thank you. Very informative
Thank you sir it is very helpful for me
Thank you Sir for explaining so much.
Thanks for giving best knowledge sir
Helpful video sir...
It really help me sir ❤️🙏❤️
Thank you so much sir
Very nice explanation 🙏🙏

Really thankful to you sir
Thank you so much sir ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very good 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
what will be the ct ratio of 20 mva, 132/33 kv delta delta transformer?
I have same question sir...
please explain Sir.
or suggest me book name. which book covered this type math..
good work
Sir in first example you did rather multiplication of 1650 with root 3 than division.
Its coming to be around 190 : 1
Yes
Loved it😍
How to take calculation for differential in motor case
Sir We don't know both sides of CT ratios how to calculate?
Sir in 2nd example the current flowing through delta connected ct is 5√3A.but you are telling 5/√3A.how sir plz reply me
Because it was copied, there was an error in explanation.
Now clear sir 🙏
good answering
Dear sir how to calculate 110 kv / 11 KV substation CT Ratio please tell me sir calculation
For star star transformer calculation will same or not??
Hlo sir , how can we calculate the CT ratio if ct ratio of neither side is given and instead power of transformer is givenalong with voltage ratio.
Tq

Sir I have doubt in ies, gate questions ,so please sir tell me where should I ask
Which software are you using for drawing and writing these question?
Sir there is mistake in calculation in first problem
Please look into it
YOu are right!

Sir these CTs only for protection purpose or measuring?
Protection
Sir generally Transformers secondary side 400v connected star connection but your saying 400v side delta connection
It's just an example
Sir i think there is some error in the calculation of the ct ratio in the first example. The ct ratio should be 330:√3

@@lecturesinelectricaleng Thank You very much Sir...
Thanks sir
Thank you sir for explaining so simply. One question...on site practically ,is there any margin added to the calculated sec.current?
🙏🙏🙏
please improve your hand writing
