    Sir, due to circulating current produced bcoz of phase to phase fault in secondary, secondary current increases. But how correspondingly in primary the current has been increased?

    Dear sir,
    kindly suggest the list of high impedance relay and low impedance relay. And where we used high impedance relay and where low impedance relay.

    Sir, the connection of CT should be opposite to transformer connection but within CT which side is to be taken for neutral and which side for connecting the pilot wires? How to know

  • @nagbarc
    @nagbarc 2 года назад

    If earth fault occurred at primary side how the differencial CTs are sense the fault current, because earth fault current go's to source neutral. Please explain

    In internal faults, in phase fault in secondary side why the current is not passed through CT?

    Dear sir, Why differntial relay Pickup set value and Bias set value is different.

    • @Learnsolar
      @Learnsolar 4 года назад

      Tq so much sir,but how much different between pick up value and bias value is correct.
      Like my pick up set in = R=1.04,Y=1.5,B=1.6
      So what is the correct bias set value and how to calculate. Please sir 🙏

    Sir,
    As you said the Differential protection can not protect the transformer from external fault but there is a chance that the fault can damage the transformer . So what kind of protection should we use to protect the transformer from external fault. Should you use earth fault protection scheme ?

    • @ranjith.s
      @ranjith.s Год назад

      Yes Earth fault and O/C relay
