  • This video was filmed over a 3 month period, its following on of my albino Jill's called Gretta and it was her first ever litter.
I thought she had 10 but the total number was 11, sadly two kits died in the first 24hrs but she raised 9 health kits.

Thank you for sharing this amazing breeding video! Ferrets are illegal in California where I live so the ones that I have owned I have had to smuggle in from Arizona or Nevada. I have bred one of my Jill's once and out of the four or five kits only one survived, the Jill actually ate several. Your ferrets are and amazing and beautiful looking creatures and I have watched a few videos of the ferreting process, which I've never personally witnessed live but it's cool to watch the videos. A lot of work goes into to it.

    • @EastMidFieldsports

They are removed at 6 weeks to give the Jill a rest, by then the kits can eat & drink independently. Once mated it can take a week or two for the vulva to go down but in some cases it may not.
