that’s what makes this game special but tbh this patch is kinda crazy with the performage ancient gear skill and bear skill because you can’t negate it, if we go with this pattern future skills would be boring if we just otk with anything

Funny how a skill meant for Dark Paladin works so well for Dark Cavalry, also they Frightfur skill looks frightening 😐

I wonder how long it will take for everyone to realise the Fluffal skill is bad, especially if the deck doesn't get the right cards. The first part of the skill is literally a worse Patchwork, which suggests we're not getting it, and the "broken" part just makes Frightfur Bear a worse Frightfur Tiger. "Oh no, this skill can remove Towers", awesome! When was the last time you saw it? Not to mention people are acting like you couldn't already out it in the deck that easily goes 4k+ attack, as well as you can't respond to the Bear summon.
I really just hope the deck gets some good cards to play with, because this skill is definetly not going to do anything
I think it’s still too much to have a skill that removes a monster without chance of response; but we’ll definitely see how much of an impact it is going to have as soon as we can put our hands on it
It allows for a chance to respond, Frightfur Bear needs to be face up on your field, this isn't like Battle Chronicle or Hero Alliance where you just need to summon the monster to then be able to activate the skill and don't need it face up to resolve

I think it will probably be hidden behind a skill, just like with Evil Hero Malicious Bane. Chaos Giant is just too much for the meta right now..

@@Paepp Skills are too much bro... Most of the time I was losing because of skill. I hate top tier skills. I don't use top tier decks because 7 out of 10 duels I enter are Battle Chronicle and the others are Rokket, Agent, Zombie or Phantom Knights. I refuse to play the decks that everyone else predominantly plays. The skills some decks use are very powerful. It can be really tiring to play with an arc-type that is not specifically supported by a skill against top tier skill decks. For example War rock, Sharks, Noble Knights. So over-hyped skills really need to be simplified.

5:30 btw this also works kn uneffected monster, or monsters which cant be targeted. So this is theoretically a kaiju... as a skill. Fluffals bout to be nuts

@Paepp btw, bear can't ss the equipped monster, but the skill says we can special summon opp monsters too. If that's correct, then we have idp access and techs that resume resummon the stolen with skill monster

I saw a really good take on reddit i believe it was, idk how Konami manufactures a skill, but this take said they should look at the deck, just by itself, categorise the deck under its power, control, consistency and recovery. Whatever is the weakest from the testing of a deck, the skill should compensate for that loss. Because of having characters with different skills for the same deck, those other skills should look at what's strongest for the deck, whether it's the ability to power itself up, if that's the case, have the restriction that the highest atk monster cannot attack for that turn. I'm a strong believer that skills should never make the deck. I am pretty excited for more ancient gear support though. 👌

As I said in the video, just dark cavalry with piercing damage and targeting negation (with cards in hand) that attacks every monster with diffusive wave motion
@@Paepp They get to choose between targeting effects negation or spell negation
@AvrileX but if you go second you basically have otk if your opponent has at least 2 monsters (even if in defense); becomes a guaranteed otk if we have piercing the darkness on the field
Kinda late but man do u really believe they'll be giving us chaos ancient gear Giant just like that hes so strong except against monster effects but i think he'll come as a skill instead of him being obtainable but the skill doesn't mention it like that if we can use him with ancient gears then man it'll be meta plus i think we might be getting ancient gear fusion but thats just me that skill confuses me

normally i WOULD say "skill for ancient gear doesnt mean we will get support" but the skill needs 4 monsters so that implies its meant to be used for a 4 mat fusion and its a dennis skill. dennis specifically summoned chaos giant

Tachyon are just too crazy either turn 1 or 2
who cares about the fluflal bear skill? if its turn 2 you should have a trap or negate that deals with it all ready, if you don't you would have lost the same way as if your opponent was playing any other deck. if its turn 3 you most likely already lost because you couldn't brake a FLUFAL BOARD. We have a skill that helps get out odd-eyes raging dragon, a FULL ENEMY BOARD WIPE and it doesn't get played because having a skill that facilitates a single monster acting as a removal spell simply doesn't cut it anymore. seriously, the amount of games that the fusion spell would just be negated, or the bear being destroyed/banished/bounced is huge. I don't see a world where a single non-respondable relinquished effect that you could easily avoid being a problem.
Don’t forget we are probably going to have more fluffal support cards on top of this 🤔

@@Paepp haha, Orcust didn't have to be toxic with staple backrows etc. Plus, the only monster that I think useful is Dingirsu. That's all. One removal and protection. And I never use Yugi' Gandora skill even once (Because I don't have Gadgets' monster, hahahaa)
It not like having 6 target destroy, 1 spell negate, 1 floodgate and probably handtraps. Plus, able to send 2 cards draw one agent and free tuners are wild.

@@Paepp well yeah, that's always the obvious purpose. But for most people, especially the ones that don't buy every single box at release it will be a very bad experience, well it already happened but i was just hoping it wouldn't go too far, but knowing Konami it most likely will

To be honest, a lot of the skills are not that crazy. Great yes, but not broken. Even the Sora skill seems fine as Frightfur Tiger is still better some of the time. At least they will not floodgate decks out of the meta!
