Approachable, luxurious, and not too precious, as the designer says. Exactly the right way to do it, and accomplished so well in this case. So many designed homes look too precious or not approachable.
Bravo 👏 to the company/companies that installed the tile and marble. Such true artistry and the work is absolutely stunning. Brings the home to an exquisite Level.
I think the entryway was extremely underwhelming, especially looking at how beautiful the exterior of the home was. I don’t think I’ve ever walked into a home and thought, “Oh, what a beautiful _floor_ !” I would have not splurged on the fancy tiles and instead wowed in the foyer using artwork or other personal elements. As is, it looks a little bit mundane. I do, however, love the kitchen! Stunning! Brilliant job on the kitchen!
Respectfully disagree on the foyer. I quite like the floor. I don’t disagree about adding art or other personal touches, but pragmatically, I didn’t see a whole lot of space for it.
It's a beautiful home. The exterior and landscaping are exquisite. The marble-entry floor reminds me of Dirand's work. Not a huge fan of the tiled marble fireplace, but it's definitely not boring so there's that! Overall, seems like a well thought-out and beautifully executed home. Bravo!
My criticism of the fireplace is that it felt too flat. It would have had more impact if it felt chunkier and was on a different plane than the wood and other materials. Still pretty but it felt builder-grade and not architectural.
@@BT-ts4pb who cares about that fireplace, what about that tv?! for once it doesnt look like it's floating near the ceiling (tho it's still above eye level)
"It doesn't feel grand", "It's not really in your face"....I wish she wouldn't downplay this gorgeous and VERY grand home. It may not have golden toilets, but this is obviously the home of someone with money haha. (But good taste.)
I read all the comments because I'm looking to find out what the floor is... wood, porcelain that looks like wood, luxury vinyl ...tile? And I'd also like to know what is used on the island countertop... I'm pretty sure it's quartz, but make and colour? As far as the design goes, I think Debra Salmoni did a GREAT JOB!!! I LOVE THE WHOLE SPACE. No, it's not really minimalistic, but it is clean and streamlined and uncluttered. It looks comfortable and inviting. If I could afford it, I would hire Debra to complete the interior of the house we're starting to build in a few weeks. Help! :)
2:47 soo we just gonna skate over that dining room light fixture?🤤 Looks like a cluster of giant cushion cut diamonds 💎💕 Modern & tastefully done. Yeahhh uh I need the 411 on that 😭
Loved the kitchen but I am not for curtains in the kitchen/nook, only because my style of cooking is big and messy and hate the smell of the food sticking to the curtains. Living room felt a bit constricted given the size of the house. Family room is beautiful and relaxing. Love the Scandi vibe over all.
A very pretty house... something I would decorate as shown... when my kids were OUT of the house.. not a house for a family with 4 kids and all that white and glass to clean... too precious, and not practical... but I do really like it - just for an empty nester situation!
@Nandeesh Rai More an overall aesthetic of "minimal" with this interior. So - no unnecessary embellishment, no bold crazy patterns or colourways, same flowy white drapes, same light flooring, negative space contributes to a calm, cohesive vibe. Remember this home serves the lives of a family with four growing children 👫👬!
Lovely home. A recognition that a family lives here. I love the whole project but I am underwhelmed by the entry. Perhaps it shows better in real life. I would not even comment on this if the designer had not emphasized that she is all about first impressions. The floor tiles are indeed beautiful. But the entry itself has little presence or personality.
Oh my God when I saw The foyer I said well to myself ," wow" and then all of a sudden you said you wanted it to have that wow factor well you definitely made the fat lady sing
Pretty Mayuri Costumes creations: Me too! White walls, blacks accents and pale floors..ho, hum. No colour, no art, no excitement; just another bland, “tasteful” home to show off your money.
Wow! Do people still go for that to show off their social and economic status? So different to my idea of a well-lived house in tune with the nature around and that reflects the values of its inhabitants ... Wows everywhere indeed (according to the interior designer), a soulless house designed to shock.
Spoiler alert: the designer went way over budget (feature walls don’t come cheap) and spent $50 out of pocket, redesigning the entire space using only items found in aisle 4 at Dollorama.
The outside of this house is spectacular, same goes for inside
Woah 😳 this has to be one of the most beautifully decorated houses I’ve ever seen! The taste and design are impeccable!
Approachable, luxurious, and not too precious, as the designer says. Exactly the right way to do it, and accomplished so well in this case. So many designed homes look too precious or not approachable.

Incredibly beautiful, original, livable and refreshing!
There’s no better word for me to use to describe this home except for stunning! I’d love to see more of this designer’s work.
this is just a master class in interior design.
The exterior is grand and like a mansion. The interior is beautifully decorated and very livable, perfect for a family. Love the pops of color
That kitchen is beautiful and the home feels cozy and comfortable
How can that kitchen be white yet so warm? It's so lovely!

Yes, I wasn’t impressed. The entry feels cold and sterile, not welcoming.
Respectfully disagree on the foyer. I quite like the floor. I don’t disagree about adding art or other personal touches, but pragmatically, I didn’t see a whole lot of space for it.
A textured wall covering would have finished off the foyer and warmed it up.

It’s a beautifully understated interior.
Yes totally agree , the owner should have opted for a different designer .
Golden toilets… 🤣😂🤣😂
It comes off as humble bragging.
You can’t truly please people with money. There’s nothing left to want. Must be so boring.

LOVE Debra! She's so crazy--in a good way--on Scott's Vacation House Rules. But her designs are on point.
The design is absolutely beautiful and the designer is stunning.
We are redoing our basement bathroom. The configuration is different but i will mimics this fresh, light and beautiful palette .
The spaces are nice & the interior is lovely.
absolutely beautiful... the kitchen was my favourite and I really liked the eclectic nature of the living room
So warm yet elegant ❕
Great job!! It's gorgeous!! A long way from renovating lake/vacation homes!!😊
Absolutely stunning! Grand, yet comforting 😍
2:47 soo we just gonna skate over that dining room light fixture?🤤
Looks like a cluster of giant cushion cut diamonds 💎💕 Modern & tastefully done. Yeahhh uh I need the 411 on that 😭
Beautiful and tasteful. I loved it.
Canadian homes are glamorous
Love Debra Salmoni.
Gorgeous! Love the unique touches!
The unique coffee table is worth comment. So, comment, comment, and comment. 👍
Love love love the house
Absolutely stunning!!!!
Beautiful work you do!
Elegant and cozy design. Wow
Love the kitchen.
Gorgeous home!
Stunning--congrats!
love love loooooveee this!
Wow very beautiful !!!!
What a lovely home !! not keen on the formal living room feature though
Scrumptious...love❤
very nice!
I’m pretty sure everything was a splurge
You're right about that!
Gorgeous 👏
Nice house, but I don't know who thinks this is Scandinavian inspired.
Gorgeous!!!😍😍😍
Absolutely stunning!
How beautiful is all this 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Reminds me of one of the Princess Margaret show homes
It's grand!
Lovely
my dream home.
Gorgeous!
I’m in love 😍
Love this spot! Where are the kitchen stools from?
OMW!! (Oh!...my...wow!!)
Beautifully designed home but…no rugs? Especially in the living room? Maybe someone has allergies but it looks a bit unfinished to me without rugs.
Love it all!👍🏻

LOVE IT!😍❤
I have no words, just 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Casual glamour at its best. Wish they would have shown all angles of the family room, is there a tv……
What is the tile used in the living room feature wall? It looks like a mural. It’s fabulous! I want to do this in my home. TIA.
How were you able to put in an open front/no glass gas/electric fireplace?
I wonder how much use the living/dining room actually get. I know a lot of people who only use the back of their house.
A very pretty house... something I would decorate as shown... when my kids were OUT of the house.. not a house for a family with 4 kids and all that white and glass to clean... too precious, and not practical... but I do really like it - just for an empty nester situation!
Beautiful! Where is the entry way light from?
How is this minimalist?

Please share the link to the sideboard by the dining table, I WANT IT!!
The house is stunning except for two faux pas: kitchen island and TV above the fire place.
Wow, stunning. But "we" splurged?
the kitchen
No wow factor in this 😐. Just looks arranged it orderly with some material .
Have to say I agree. Obviously very well designed, but this scandi style just seems flat to me.
ah yes very relatable

👍👍👍
✨🙌🏽✨
I don't like the main entrance at all... 😔
Just finished the full video... I don't care for the whole design... Sorry
I have to admit, I do not love the blondish wood against the white/black marble in the home office or the gray tones of the rest of the home. Sorry!
Oh my God when I saw The foyer I said well to myself ," wow" and then all of a sudden you said you wanted it to have that wow factor well you definitely made the fat lady sing
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
everything is "essential" and a "splurge".
so cold, not feel good
No one uses a formal living room anymore such a waste of space...love everything else.
Ummm…. How do you know how everyone lives? I use a formal living room. My Mum and sisters do. Come to think of it, I know quite a few people who do.
@@Ad-Lo I just don't know anyone where I live in So. Ca that uses a formal living room...didn't want to start an argument JMO
I like everything but the glass coffee table...those always show smudges and smears. Get a wood one instead.
it's nice but i strat useless all all these white and white houses , all houses look same
Yes it's beautiful, with high design, but haven't we seen it A LOT? Yet another all white kitchen from a H&H designer- how creative.
Who else is like me with this kind of video? I mute the talker so I can better concentrate on how everything looks. 🤣
😂🤣
minimalist and inspired by scandinavian design? where?
Pretty Mayuri Costumes creations: Me too! White walls, blacks accents and pale floors..ho, hum. No colour, no art, no excitement; just another bland, “tasteful” home to show off your money.
Cindy is rich
It screams top star hotel to me ... nothing homely about this place
Sorry just not appealing.......looks like a business not a home.

Nice interior but wouldn't call it minimalistic
I love when Americans thinks they designed something in “Scandinavian minimalist” style lol… sure… 😂
You mean Canadians? Toronto is located in Canada.
Spoiler alert: the designer went way over budget (feature walls don’t come cheap) and spent $50 out of pocket, redesigning the entire space using only items found in aisle 4 at Dollorama.
More of the same. No personality.
Every second video : Scandinavian minimalist look….🙄
No point having windows if you have to close curtains in the daytime.
Spend some money on enough land so you can look out of your own home.
looks cheap and tacky
Beautiful and cozy!
