This is one of Foreigner's most underrated songs. It has such a great hook. This song came out just as I graduated from high school. There were so many great songs released in 1987, including "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake; "Alone" by Heart; "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle; "Invisible Touch" by Genesis"; and "No One is to Blame" by Howard Jones. So many great hits that year.

Complicated sentiment simplified by a glamorous video. Lou goes from questioning to desperate to scared all in one song. How he did it is an enjoyable mystery. Pure artistry.
I love the parts when he says: "say you will, say you won't" and then the pause for a second and then the drummer hitting the snare and cymbal and the same time, making a " "crash" type sound.
