This is a really cool animated short. I'm surprised it doesn't have more likes/views considering how popular Yoshitaka Amano's art was with Final Fantasy. He has a really unique and recognizable style.
I almost don’t consider amano’s work to be anime. It’s just so unique and outside standard anime boundaries. It’s more like a watercolor sketch moving picture. He’s timeless
@@YoungbokGomez I mean it's not like Amano animated this, it was based on his artwork. The short animation itself seems to have been created by an american director, so in that regard it wouldn't be really classified as anime. Couldn't find any information on the studio though.
@@isabelladelgado456 I think he's generally considered an illustrator and someone that does character designs. I know he's been involved in other animation type stuff (I remember he did a really awesome poster for the original Vampire Hunter D anime,) but I think he's typically someone who just does concept art and design work that a video game or anime studio then uses to create character models or even scenic backgrounds. You can look up some of his concept art for the old Final Fantasy games and see how the games were designed around his ideas. Technically, I don't think he's an animator although I could be wrong.
This is like trying to vividly explain your dream to someone, but actually giving it justice.
this is like a dream animated, crazy. I can’t even imagine the amount of time and work put into this
