Am I the only one who adores 3:40 the most? The moment when the Beast is about to lose the fight and rolls down those tower rooftops, while Belle is running up the stairs. I always thought the hopeful violins reflected how she is hurrying on her way, hoping be doesn't get hurt and that she's not too late.
YES!!!!! That's my favorite part in the whole battle tower scene! Just the way he said it to her while stroking her face.....he's so in love. And her face falls into his touch!!! How sweet is that little part? OMG, I could just go on and on about it!!
It must've been a mixture of feelings of having a reason to fight now that the woman he's in love with is by his side and the realization that Belle loves him too.
His face man, we can feel his joy, love and relief, the animation of every facial expressions (and animation in general) is SO AMAZING And let's not talk about the moment when beast holds Belle's hand because I don't wanna start crying
I love how 2:39 - 2:51 if you listen closely is the exact same theme which is first heard in Gaston's song and numerous of his other scenes where he is scheming. This more aggressive version here really just reflects how much he's gone from being an unpleasant, scheming guy to someone who is out and out dangerous and truly evil.
Gaston isn't that much more evil than the average person, about as bad as beast before he became beast, he could have been redeemed some villains can never be redeemed but Gaston I feel wasn't so far gone
@@MementoDespair I think Gaston was too far gone. If nothing else proved it, it was him literally stabbing the Beast in the back after he just spared his life that proved it. I don't even think Zira from Lion King 2 may have been too far beyond redemption, had she chosen it, and I felt sorry for her, but I felt a satisfaction in seeing Gaston fall to his death.

It was much better that they were cursed for certain amount of time & age passing, so they had time for regret & sorrow. I like in 1991 how he was first young & grown into a man through his Beast form (objects were probably spared of aging cuz it wasn't their full mistake in the first place)... it makes story much more mature
It's the moment when we stop seeing Beast and start seeing Adam, and when Belle calls him, we completely can see a human In every scene where he is happy with Belle, he is Adam, not Beast (and it's not necessary that when they're together he is in love, It's not when Belle leaves that he realizes he is in love with her)

Also, that witch had no rights at all teaching the kid a lesson about how bad it is to be arrogant, but if you ask me, and after rethinking, the prince had every right to kick her out. Think about it, he's a kid, he's alone, there's a strange woman on his door and she wants to give him a flower? Even I, a grown man will refuse such a thing like that let alone a lonely kid.
