Thanks Angela I have learned more than I wanted to for a 76-year-old widower, from an earlier video and more today on your tools and tips. What is a good solution for mold on the door seals of a Frigidaire which appears to be like a vinyl plastic and the mold doesn't come off hardly at all using CLR as an example
Thank you for your kind words and for watching my videos. I'm glad that you have found them helpful! Regarding the mold on the door seals of your Frigidaire, it sounds like you have already tried using CLR (a commercial cleaning product) without much success. Here are a few other options you could try: Mix equal parts water and white vinegar in a spray bottle and apply the solution to the moldy areas. Let it sit for a few hours, then scrub the seals with a soft-bristled brush and rinse with water. Use a solution of water and hydrogen peroxide (3% concentration) in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the seals and let it sit for a few hours before scrubbing with a soft-bristled brush and rinsing with water. If the seals are made of rubber, you could try using a rubber cleaner and protectant. These products are specifically designed to clean and condition rubber surfaces. I hope these suggestions are helpful. If the mold persists despite your efforts to clean it, you may want to consider replacing the seals if they are damaged or no longer sealing properly.

When it comes to using Oban disinfectant on wooden floors, it's essential to exercise caution and follow the manufacturer's instructions. While Oban disinfectant may be suitable for use on certain types of flooring, including some hardwood floors, it's important to verify if it is specifically recommended for use on wooden surfaces. Some disinfectants can be too harsh for wood and may cause damage or discoloration. To ensure the safety and longevity of your wooden floors, I would recommend checking the product label or contacting the manufacturer directly to confirm if Oban disinfectant is appropriate for use on wooden floors. Additionally, it's always a good idea to spot test a small, inconspicuous area of the floor before applying the disinfectant to the entire surface to ensure it does not have any adverse effects.
Hi Angela! What would you recommend for a homeowner to clean the inside of an oven and its racks? I don't like using the self cleaning feature as it takes hours and ends up smelling up the whole kitchen.
If you can safely use ammonia outdoors that’s the best to soak the racks over night. Ammonia is very dangerous and never ever mix it with anything other than water. Otherwise I use hot hot water, dawn, lots of dwell time, and a hard scrubber.
Hi Patty, The quickest fastest way is using an oven spray designed to clean ovens fast. Here is a video about that ruclips.net/video/EZXw13kQ4rg/видео.html You will also have fumes that smell up the whole kitchen, and ventilation will be key. You can use a hand held steamer and go the chemical free route - but depending on how much cleaning is needed - that could also take hours.
I ended up to clean it with baking soda, for me it worked the best😉i soak my racks in hot water with the soda and let it soak for at least 10 min. For the oven i make a paste with the soda, spread it everywhere i want it to be clean. My oven has a steam function, i turn it on for 5 min, it’s important that the paste stays moist..this was a tip from a chef👍
The racks I put in a big plastic bag and spray them with easy off and close it up and leave it. at least an hour. for oven "easy off for self clean" if the bottom is bad its good to have a scratcher but not metal there are plastic scraper, sos pad works. Good to leave easy off overnight. Put plastic wrap over the sprayed areas that it doesn't dry out. I have cleaned with baking soda paste but this is very hard job, if you put a towel first in your tub add racks and hot water and laundry detergent works too but harder.

Certainly! There are several alternatives to bleach for cleaning. You can use hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, baking soda, or lemon juice for disinfecting and cleaning surfaces.
Yes, use the spray and then remove the bleach immediately after the job is complete. Wash the bottle out and flush the sprayer out with water by refilling the bottle with water and spraying until the bleach is flushed out of the nozzle and tube.
I was going to put clorox clean up in a clear spray bottle b/c the top kept coming off the original bottle it came in, but I won't now since you said not to keep it in a clear bottle. But then I saw that you put yours in a clear bottle to use it.
In this case, we put it in a clear bottle to spray a shower and then poured the contents of the 100% bleach back into the original solid white plastic jug for storage. The spray was in the clear bottle for maybe 2 minutes. The reason we don't store, or leave Clorox in a clear plastic spray bottle is that it becomes unstable when exposed to sunlight. Good catch, thanks for bringing that up. 👍
Thank you for your question. I do not recommend using bleach on travertine or marble. Ceramic is generally more resilient to bleach, which makes it a safer option for such surfaces

Using distilled water in a steamer is recommended because it prevents mineral buildup, staining, and unpleasant odors. Overall, it can prolong the life of your steamer
It depends on what you are trying to do. Any time you choose a cleaner it comes down to the gunk you are trying to remove, and the surface you are trying to remove it from. I rarely use bleach, but when I do, this is the process. OdoBan is my go-to product in most cleaning situations because yes, you can clean multi-surfaces with it and without the strong odor.
I don't have bleach in my home because I have ruined too many items just from spashes/drips. I guess I could wear protective gear...not 😳 Easier to not use it
Great question. These are the favorite products we use here at Savvy Cleaner www.amazon.com/shop/angelabrown/list/CPQ6V5M18KIX?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d
Yikes, I'm not gonna lie I use bleach on a daily basis in my clients homes with no protection. I always have a nasty taste/feeling in the back of my throat at the end of the day. Most of my clients have well water and I just never thought to use anything else. I'm so dumb lol
No. We don't wear the bib aprons except for special projects anyway - save it for the next time you use bleach. I've never actually got any bleach on one but if I did, it would just become my apron used for the times I use bleach. They are $9 for 2 of them (Ref: Paid Link amzn.to/3AQZTzl). Fairly inexpensive and will keep you from ruining your clothes. If you are worried, you can wear disposable aprons. Here is the paid link amzn.to/3AURnzD so you can see what those look like.

Hi and thanks for watching the show, and yes, there are many other disinfectant sprays available besides bleach. Here are some examples of alternative disinfectant sprays: Hydrogen peroxide: This is a natural disinfectant that can be used to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. You can dilute hydrogen peroxide with water and use it as a spray. Alcohol: Ethanol and isopropyl alcohol are both effective disinfectants that can be used to kill germs. You can find alcohol-based disinfectant sprays at most stores. Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QACs): These are disinfectant chemicals that are commonly used in healthcare settings to kill germs. They are also effective against viruses such as influenza. Citric acid: This natural acid is found in citrus fruits and can be used as a disinfectant. You can mix citric acid with water to make a spray that can be used on surfaces. Essential oils: Some essential oils such as tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil have natural disinfectant properties. You can dilute these oils with water and use them as a spray. When choosing a disinfectant spray, be sure to read the label carefully and follow all safety instructions. It's also important to note that some disinfectants may not be suitable for certain surfaces or may require a longer contact time to be effective.
No. I don't have anything against it, it's just an expensive product for a professional cleaner to use when other products we already carry with us clean equally as well. We use powdered Bon Ami in it's place or Bar Keepers Friend depending on the task.
How do you use it? Just pour some in the toilet and swish it around? Or do you spray it on? How do you keep the bleach from running right off the ring and into the drain- because it is not thick like gel and doesn't stick to the ring area.

Is safe to use the bleach on travertine or marble shower?or only ceramic?
Thank you for your question. I do not recommend using bleach on travertine or marble. Ceramic is generally more resilient to bleach, which makes it a safer option for such surfaces
Thank you
I have a question on the ozone … where can I ask this at ? Are we able to email a question ?
Tammy, You can leave a question here in the comments. 😊
@@AskAngelaBrown i did go ahead and leave one right after I posted my question about the email etc. I will try and look thru it to see if it showed up . I did it pretty quick the 2nd post If Not I’ll post my question again. Thank you for the response back so quickly
Distilled water? for the steamer?
Using distilled water in a steamer is recommended because it prevents mineral buildup, staining, and unpleasant odors. Overall, it can prolong the life of your steamer
Am a house cleaner . But l would like to know how Clorox bleach is mixed for domestic use
Clorox is very strong by itself. Please don't ever mix bleach for any type of use. Bleach can be diluted with water only.
Thanks 🙏 ma'am
So would you use this same process when using clorox clean up, since it's not straight bleach?
This process assumes you are using straight bleach. If you are doing a maintenance clean, you may not need harsh chemicals.
Ozone generators do not meet California air standards so Amazon will not ship to California. Any workaround suggestions?
+Donna Black ventilation will be key along with odor absorbing solutions like charcoal, baking soda or DampRid
Dawn soap and bleach is it ok
Please do not mix the two. Nothing but water should ever be added to bleach.
Wouldn't odoban be a better option than bleach?
It depends on what you are trying to do. Any time you choose a cleaner it comes down to the gunk you are trying to remove, and the surface you are trying to remove it from. I rarely use bleach, but when I do, this is the process. OdoBan is my go-to product in most cleaning situations because yes, you can clean multi-surfaces with it and without the strong odor.
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank you😀
I don't have bleach in my home because I have ruined too many items just from spashes/drips.
I guess I could wear protective gear...not 😳
Easier to not use it
Some people don't use it at all. Thanks for watching the video and for sharing your input.
Q home owner-What is the brand name of the steamer, I can see it below.
We are always learning!!! Good for you for educating yourself!!!👏👏👏
If you accidently get bleach on your apron do you dye it black again?
@@AskAngelaBrown If home tile floors have been washed with pinesol as the floor cleaner of choice for years , how can I get the smell out . The home smells clean of course but very strong and im so sensitive to cleaners / candles/ perfumes anything like that. It just smells like air fresheners but it is the Pinesol I need the entire house that is all tile to get rid of the smell. Will a floor steamer work ? And then the Ozone for the entire home. Does have furniture etc in it No clothes. No food I just don’t know much about the ozone.
other disinfect spray other than bleach?
Hi and thanks for watching the show, and yes, there are many other disinfectant sprays available besides bleach. Here are some examples of alternative disinfectant sprays:
Hydrogen peroxide: This is a natural disinfectant that can be used to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Do you ever use soft scrub with bleach?
No. I don't have anything against it, it's just an expensive product for a professional cleaner to use when other products we already carry with us clean equally as well. We use powdered Bon Ami in it's place or Bar Keepers Friend depending on the task.

Thanks for watching and for the love! 😊

Thanks Cheryl for joining us today. I appreciate you dropping by.
my mommy kicked me out of the house, now I need to buy bleach
I’m sorry.
I love to clean with bleach I use bleach the most when I am cleaning the toilets
How do you use it? Just pour some in the toilet and swish it around? Or do you spray it on? How do you keep the bleach from running right off the ring and into the drain- because it is not thick like gel and doesn't stick to the ring area.
@Angela Brown Cleaning When I clean toilets I Use My gloves knee pads and a sponge an$ put my hand right in and start cleaning With a cleaning rag And I use a rag to dry the toilet
@Angela Brown Cleaning I use gel
