Just to think a couple years ago I couldn't stand zaldain now he one of my favorites lol lova ya bro!! Keep up the hard work that and the honesty is what got me drew to u and the wife..
Lol thanks bro 👊🏽
Nice shop dude! Can’t wait to see it finished. Thanks for the update
Great information. I’m glad to see you have left hand retrieve reels.
I switched from right hand to left hand back in 1985 and have been glad ever since that I did. Being right handed myself it took a couple of months to get real comfortable with it. I feel much more efficient fishing that way.
It's because the bass can find a cushion in front of a boulder, and that was the wind currents don't keep moving them off of a static location that the fish likes to occupy, to ambush from. If one looks at this in the way that one looks at 'moving water', it makes more sense. The way to understand these dynamics by the way, is to spot-lock or powe-pole your vessel and cast out your number five floating fly line with a decent length of leader. A fly of some kind on the end like a marabou lure. And just watch the set up as you fish it static, work it's way gradually around that area (without any angler manipulation of that set up at all). You move down to a four weight floating fly line, or a three weight in slower places. And you'll learn fast how much water moves by itself. A semi-suspending or floating fly with demonstrate this, but very lightly weighted fly lures with stronger wind will show it best.
Here’s my thoughts on California….screw that state and everything it stands for. Good on you for getting out. 50 bucks to go fishing not including expenses is asinine.
Expensive with strict laws but it has the best weather with many stuff to do in the whole state.

Look at that shop big dog! Coming together nicely!
Yes sir that shop is super sick. You did it right by making it super big . Seems alot of people don't make them big enough and wish they have made it bigger. Not your problem yeah Yeah. Can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks again for another awesome video keep up the great work. Late.
What you said was the advice so many gave me, bigger is always better. My wife’s Dad laid it out to be as big as possible where I could still drive in and turn around with the boat to back in.
Thank you for putting in the work so we get to enjoy some amazing products brother stay motivated and keep dropping these bangers 👊🏻🇺🇸🎣👍🏻💯
Need to try out a few of these Im liking the new stuff you’re developing.
We’ve got a long way to go before it’s ready for the public
@@Zaldaingerousyoure honesty is why we love watching you bud😂
Bro you are right about California. The Army just promoted and moved me out here to Ft Irwin in SoCal and the cost of living is ridiculous. They nickel and dime you for everything
My brothers and dad are still out there. Wish they’d move here to Texas. Costs are crazy but they’ve got good jobs and all their friends out there so I get it too
@Zaldaingerous ill be in this Army job till August 2025 unfortunately. them im trying to get stationed in Texas after that.
Chris great building and investment!!
Once the building is enclosed run, a dehumidifier dry the concrete out. Have the carpet installer Test concrete with a Tramex scan CME moisture meter get it to three on the slab tests
install the gutters and make sure the rainwater falls and drains 15 feet away from the building. keep that sucker dry , your certified carpet inspector Dave from Georgia
Shops looking good dude
Good info!! Thanks David
@@cherokeetackle2412 thanks! I’ve never had my own shop, feels good!
I wonder would it be a good idea to run a pavement around the perimeter (so that one could navigate using a scissors lift for the purposes of gutter cleaning and access). And I guess that pavement or apron would have a have a slant away from the building very slightly too. Ideally dumping into some kind of submerged gravel channel that leads the storm water away. I agree, that's all stuff to figure out and consider. My hunch is an extra number of downpipes along gutter length will provide extra capacity to remove storm water. The point being again, that one wants that water surge to discharge into some medium underground that disperses it away.
I was thinking there on the mezzaine level too, and it's the point in the structure at which the interior environment may drop to colder levels, and raise to slightly higher temperatures at times of the year. As a place to store tackle, for that very reason I'm not sure it's ideal. I think that plastics and all kinds of things are going to deteriorate quicker as opposed to slower on that mezzaine space. On the other hand, I'm thinking about things that are bulky and have to be laid out, or stretched. I'm thinking of stuff such as rain wear and clothing. And I think that hot air that will rise and settle underneath that roof. That for much of the year that mezzaine might be a useful space to lay things out. A number of basic picnic types of tables there. So that one can inspect one's clothing, put newspaper into wet footwear. Get all of that stuff that is messy out of the way, and up on the mezzaine. Where it can then take as long as it likes to dry out. You know that when you retrieve it again, it's probably well aired. And the odd time when the sunshine comes out, and gives that rain wear a blast of substantial heat. It may not be a bad thing. Ditto, with all of the footwear and gear that anglers have. That always end up wet in various ways.
Always love your content, Chris!
🙏
Great video and content, new subscriber now having an eye on you from a cross the Atlantic. Keep up the good work 🇺🇸🇸🇪🎣
From 1 Chris to another!!! Beautiful Shop!!
Thanks Chris 👊🏽
Yes finally. This is what I love to do almost as much as bed fishing
Awesome video Z an congrats on the new shop, looks great. I live 2 miles away from that boat ramp behind Outdoor World. Crazy how low the lake is. Tell the family, Amy I wishing Happy Holidays!!
It is very low 🙃
@Zaldaingerous 1 of my Best friend used to mow for you before he moved to Lake Fork an sold Xtreeme Lawn Care to Purple Care. Y'all are Great people and love watching The Bilge. Watching the podcast right now from the Googan Squad. Sorry to her about your mom brother. I lost my mom 4 years ago from Macular Generation and Pulmonary Fibrosis of the Lungs.
I really need to fish more jerkbaits this winter, I’m also here in North Texas and mostly fish the Trinity River
What part dude

Great video. Once ur shop is opened up ur garage will probably be bare. Thats a huge door by the way
Good work Chris!
Great vid! Gratz on the shop! Lake Texoma is really low and so is Ray Roberts. BTW 3inch Spark Shad on the back of a #3 single hook mepps! Great recommendation on trying out the Spark Shad!
That shop is massive. Looks good.
Straight up, jerk baits are kryptonite for me. For sure ready to try this one on Eufaula Lake, Okla👌🏻
Swimbaits, big spoons & jerkbaits 😍
@@Zaldaingerous yes sir! Good work brother. The shop looks great
I could fish the whole season with a jerk bait and a drop shot basically. It gets old lol
I’ve started just riding down banks with Lanier 8’ low I’m marking stuff for pre all the way to post with as much bank is exposed now 😂
That shop! Awesome!
Wasnt paying attention and heard Traits dad does steal for a living, had to rewind it and realized he does steele not steal for a living 😂
😂😂😂
Shop looking awesome !
Thank you! I’ve dreamed of having a big shop my whole career. Pumped
Going to add drains in the floor?
Nice video. Good information. Thank you.
Great video, i caught some fish yesterday and they're eyes were cloudy! What does that mean ?
I think it has to do with water quality but I’ll ask my biologist buddy
@@Zaldaingerous thank you
chris you doing big things & as the saying goes " if they aren't any hater's" then must not be doing anything right" we also say F' em & let em hate ya dig..
Why do they draw the lakes down in the winter?
Balls, not getting stuck. They rolled to the back on the pause/jerk like them Evergreens if it does that.
Is that the one Dustin Connell is on creating too ?
Good video, enjoy the behind the scenes of your daily life.
The is Shop coming along
Liked and subbed good luck on that airplane
I’m from Lawton, Oklahoma. Ever been through here?
Great video.
1Rod truly is the peoples champ. I’ve recently become crazy about jerkbaits so definitely looking forward to see what you put together.
What makes the 110 so special? Is it placebo effect? Do other baits like a Provoke or Stunna work just as well. My own personal experience from fishing in the Ozarks my whole life….the 110 is where you go when the water gets super cold. I’m talking low 40s and into the 30s. If you can capture lightning in a bottle with that prototype and have it be as effective in ultra cold water that would be legit.
Water temp definitely plays… Pointer, Oneten, Stunna, old school Rogue… they all have a place. I’ve got a goal for ours, that will feel a niche I need filled. Going to have to completely scrub what we have to do it though
Yup.. agree with both ur comments 👍
Damn son. You can’t tell me Chris didn’t team up with the right sponsors lol
😄
bruh........I would live in that shop.
I’ll be sleeping in the shop instead of on the couch 😅
You maybe able to pull wire but can you wire up a 3 way switch lol
Can i have ur old stuff? 😂 jk lol. Very nice shop man! Dream of mine one day!
Tbh I’ve given away a lot of it because I haven’t had room to hold onto the stuff I don’t use
Is it any different or like their magdraft knockoff
Do you really think the rigged Daingerous is a knockoff? Do you think a Pointer is the same as a 110?
@@Zaldaingerous lucky craft is behind the scenes so not a good comparison but I understand your point
Hey yo trust me the electrician legit could not care less about your 6 month wire pullin stint... what if he was like ya i threw a swimbait once lemme tell ya how...😂
L O L
The shop is highly entertaining, keep the updates coming. And maybe some viewers have some ideas for stuff you can add in the barn…
Will do!
another guy who has to go to a small lake to catch a lunker, OH is like hunting a 5K high fenced ranch for deer. Everyone is lucky they release them all back so a guy who can't catch a 13 the old fashion way has a prayer. I have three over 13 from Texas, Arizona, and one in Florida all before FF ever came out. No respect for small lake big bass catches, its great for RUclips fisherman to put on a show and it sells product. Good Videos !
I’m going to Ivie to dial in my new electronics. Picking up my new boat this week. Ivie really is not as easy as you think because the fish have received so much pressure the last few years
Chris pulling wire is 1/32 of what an electrician knows. You keep catching bass we will pull wire and rig your shop. 27 years out of local 861 Lake Charles Louisiana don’t insult a professional electrician
Lake don Pedro launch is $35 now new Malone’s is like 10$
How is New Malone’s fishing?
Your swimbaits gets bit good.Nice job on your fish cave and continued success 🤙
At this rate, I feel like the line through will get released after the new jerk bait
It’s any day. I made some very last minute changes so it was my fault and not the guys at Bass Mafia
@@Zaldaingerous It can be you or them, I blame you both. Joking. Glad it’s going to be released soon.
So you were basically a glorified electricians helper lol? Nice shop Chris
I was a Bassmaster Elite series angler paying for my entry fees and expenses in whatever way I could…
@@Zaldaingerous hey, sometimes it all about who you know.
So is the bass mafia going to be a more refined and tournament angler driven line and the Googan line is more for the everyday guy
🎯
Bright lights and bright epoxy floor to reflect light, makes working in the shop so much better when you can do brain surgery in there.
So you think a lighter colored epoxy floor? Like a light grey?
Another lure ripped off from Megabass.
🥲
That shop 🤤🤤!!! Hey I know I've asked this before but I can't remember what video it was or what the answer was.( My fault).. But what kind of mount are y'all using for the GoPro around your neck .. I like it!🤌.. y'all stay safe, GIVE'EM HELL TRAIT😂😂
