I'm just about to finish renovating my 3 bedroom victorian house . If i was looking to buy , i would run away from this . Big renovations , no thanks, not for me anymore !
The price is too high for a renovation project. Not worth 175000 euros. Is it the estate agents that overprice these properties or the owners that think they are sitting on gold mines?
You're not an architect. Just say what it is now and I will decide what it will be. Price is way too ambitious. 70K would be reasonable. Don't think that foreigners don't know the market.
These Estate agents are not realistic. Don't know or ignore what's happening worldwide. Economy is dying in EU and US. Prices go up now, in some places, but soon will collapse, as the dollar and euro will. @@FirstLast-rh9jw
tons of character and lots of potential ( at huge cost ) but portugal has priced it self out of the market i'm afraid . France and Italy are now looking very cheap in compariosn

Location determines price, it's near the coast and nearer to Lisbon, so it's not comparable to some Castelo Branco mountain properties... Need to do more homework on Salir de Matos.....

That's what I was wondering as well. Not locked into any one country for my next purchase but at these prices I will consider a different country.
Prices are getting really excessive and Nobody talks about Portugal it's highest Excess Deaths!
Look at Hungary or surrounding, and also safer (no migrant misery) even Italy is cheaper. @@JohnDo-ntchaknow
