Alright guys, only one more Kirby Canon to go, and it's a brand new one, wonder if you guys can guess what it will be! ;) You may have seen this in the community tab, but I may be making a Mini-series afterward called "Kirby Canon Basics" where I summarize large amounts of info in a much shorter amount of time without going into CRAZY detail, so newcomers can get up to date without watching HOURS of a playlist. Because honestly, no idea how long it will be for a new Kirby game, and even Kirby theories that AREN'T about certain things/characters being Dark Matter/Ancients/etc. are running thin. =P

It's great too that Kumazaki has renewed his title. Not as a self proclaimed king, but as a self *made* king. Now he rules because people need him, honestly, and he has proven time and time again that he is just as capable and willing to save Dreamland as Kirby. Also, fun fact: DeDeDe's royal status being self-proclaimed is something that actually was added until he became a trophy in Smash Bros Meelee, and it canonized way later until TDX. This means that he genuinely was a royal figure until Sakurai changed his mind about his role, in a non-Kirby game, and then Kumazaki probably added it into the Dededetour to help the character development he was building; also because a lot of people were introduced to Kirby thanks to Smash and (when it released), the anime. So it was a great way to tie into the concept of D3 being sometimes way too greedy for his own good, and that he could probably always drop the title and charge if he wanted as he held no real responsibility with the inhabitants of Dreamland, but actually never did. He is a true leader, there's a reason why the Waddle Dees follow him
The main Kirby crew are basically a group of friends/friendly rivals. You got Kirby, the super sweet guy that gets the group into zany adventures. King Dedede is the one who wants to be the head hancho tough guy, but really doesn't pull it off. Meta Knight's the serious/mature friend that keeps a cool head, most the time. Bandanna Dee is the glue friend that keeps them together.
Bandana dee deserves a lot more love and a lot more fans. I love all of the cast so much and they will always hold a special place in my heart that will never change for as long as i live.
That's honestly what I thought when watching the video and whenever I see the four together like in Return. They're all so close knit the only outlier being Bandana Dee's relationship with Meta Knight.
I like to think that Meta Knight and Kind Dedede had a falling-out after Kirby's Adventure. I say this because it would explain Meta Knights disappearance and later motivate his attempted conquest of Dreamland, declaring that "Dreamland's lazy lifestyle would be over" under his rule. The logical conclusion being that Meta Knight would eventually have to oust the self-proclaimed king of dreamland himself from power at some point during his campaign of conquest. He disappeared yet again after his defeat, probably to reflect over his losses, and then reappeared in Return to Dreamland. Maybe it was over the course of RTD, Triple Deluxe, Robobot, and Star Allies that the two rekindled their own friendship; and now with them being a little stronger and a little wiser, their friendship returned stronger than ever. Idk, I just think there's more to these two than meets the eye.

@@lofikirbstar623 Bowser and Ganondorf are also bosses. You see their playable forms turn into their final smashes technically, so it would be entirely possible for marx to be playable in his base form, and then his final smash being his boss form.
I always thought that dedede was similar to bowser when it comes to servants. Just like bowser's, dedede's servants follow him not out of fear, but out of respect.
Bowser's servants are really fickle though. Most of them abandon him for Fawful in BiS. The ones in special attacks were loyalists who were imprisoned.
Y'know, Kirby games were never the most challenging games, aside from some of the true arenas and such. It was the low level of challenge that drew me in as a kid, it's the lore and characters that I stay for as I get closer and closer to adulthood

Do not forget that DDD had for some reason a chest containing Dark Nebula, and also knew about the nightmare threat, along with MK, who knew the secret of the chest and that the mirror existed, I think those 2 know more than we think.

My theory is that Meta Knight told Dedede about Nightmare as a warning and probably gave Dedede the chest containing Dark Nebula, probably trusting him that he would never open the chest. Maybe all that maybe expanding upon but maybe not

I had this in mind since it dose have a remake of Kirby’s Dreamland as the first game in the game, but on to the point, I was thinking that Meta Knight and Dedede were probably enemies, trying to end his monarchy in the most extreme way until Kirby came in as the equalizer and maybe after that event Meta Knight rethink his actions and maybe decided to interacted with Dedede more often since and eventually became close friends all because of Kirbyc (and before you mention the name “Revenge of Meta Knight” well, that “revenge” was not on Kirby because his plans wasn’t against Kirby, it was against (Dreamland’s lazy lifestyle”. Kirby just got in the way of his “revenge”) but this can be false as there is a possibility that the timeline is in game order with Kirby’s Adventure coming after Dreamland.
It’s also possible that MK and DDD were the ones originally defending Dreamland before Kirby came along. Not to mention in Robobot, they’re the first to go on the defensive when Haltmann Corp. attacks.
I was thinking, since Meta Knight is now able to use his telekinesis and cloning from his Star allies Boss battle without the Jamba heart, can Dedede reach his buffed form on his own as well?
Considering Kirby has infinite power, it makes sense why DDD can never beat Kirby. That being said, it’s also a *huge* feat that DDD can go blow-for-blow with a being with infinite power.
Conclusion: The Limitlessness is not Kirby's power output (That varies based on form, Kirby 64's Melting Ice Cube was underwhelming, while Dynamite was a multi-use Screen nuke) but instead his power versitility.
I think Kirby and dededes grudge was settled in return of the king. Everything he does now is more in rivalry. The case in which his clones having a grudge does prove that his angry feelings towards Kirby hasn't disappeared entirely even if it has been settled lots of the villains use this anger or emotion to bring out that grudge or hate when controlling dedede. However if dedede were to truly beat Kirby now I think he would walk over and help Kirby get up. (Not sure if anything can truly beat Kirby but if dedede were too finally get what he wanted I think he will be more upset that he hurt his friend and caring towards kirby than happy that he won.)
I think Dedede has actually managed to earn the title of king. What a lad. He cares for his waddle dees, he never gives up, and it's clear he's tried to redeem himself from his food-stealing escapades- and even then, that may have even been for the waddle dees. He may be self-proclaimed, but in my eyes, he's a true king. Not by family lines, but by his actions.
Where do you think they’ll take the series next? Story wise... I mean. They’ve been building up to the Ancients ever since RTDL. Touching on ancient artifacts throughout the series... What happens now?
While I can't say for sure, judging from various hints, we'll be dealing with more information about Void and the Four Heroes of Yore. For the story of the next game, in Star Allies descriptions, it is hinted that Void will reincarnate and become a new friend of Kirby, so that will probably happen. As for the conflict, in Super Kirby Clash, it is hinted by BWD and Kumazaki himself that Galacta Knight will return in "another world" (perhaps the canon world), with someone like Kirby (so Kirby in the canon world) stepping up to stop him. So, perhaps Galacta Knight would somehow break free from his seal and rampage across the universe, with Kirby and friends trying to stop him. Also, it's probably 3D based on code found in a datamine for Fighters 2, so that's cool I guess.
That one scene where Metaknight reaches his hand out to help Dedede up is adorable. That entire game was pretty cool. I love how they decided to team my two boys up.
Bandana Dee is currently so confusing that he only got a small mention in this episode. I've been thinking about his allegiance since Battle Royale but I have no clue why he would be so loyal to the King in RotK, but then fight him in BR and KF2.
For BR I think he was just helping Kirby out a little too much for the whole allegiance thing they've established with him, but in KF2 I have a personal headcanon that he felt kinda betrayed by Dedede choosing Meta Knight as his buddy so he went with Kirby to prove what a mistake he made and I like to think after the moon warriors stuff they had like a reconciliation and it was cute (like I said this is just a headcanon.)
He just has a lot more confidence to the point where he can challenge the king himself They don't seem like they fight for real though Also, it was a team battle Dedede formed an alliance with Meta Knight, and one of Bandana's closest friends is Kirby himself so Why not?
I wanna see a Kirby game where Galactic Knight teams up with Kirby. Maybe, this Kirby game can allow players to the helm as Galactic Knight? Galactic Knightmare Ultra? I just realized something we have a total of 4 Knights. I wanna see a canon free for all between the four knights - Meta Knight, Dark Meta Knight, Galactic Knight, and Morpho Knight. Now how will Galactic Knight and Morpho Knight get separated? Well maybe Dark Meta Knight can cut the fusion in two, like how he did to Kirby in the beginning of Amazing Mirror. Or maybe the four knights team up Return to Dreamland style?
Meta and Dedede don't interact much in games but they interact more often outside of source material, such as Japanese Kirby Twitter but I don't know if we can count them as canon. They also interacted in an official Kirby and the Rainbow Curse comic (They notice world turning into stone, Dedede asks what should they do, Meta screams "Quick, strike a pose!" and in the next panel it shows Dedede lying on the ground with a thinking pose and Meta Knight hiding himself in his cape, both turned into stone. Dedede asks "Am I doing it right?" and Meta says "Just go with it." while Kirby and Bandana Dee enter to the portal in the background.)

Exactly! While he technically wasn't born into the role, he serves all the purposes of a "legitimate" king and is seen and treated as such by everyone in his kingdom. Royal lineages have to start somewhere, so I'd say he's just the first royal in Dreamland.
I heard King Dedede was trying to push a theory that Faunus are made when a Mobian and Human love each other very much. He even used Sonic the Hedgehog and Ryuko Matoi as an example. He would’ve appeared on InfoWars to spread it, but Alex Jones was banned for saying a mean word on Roblox among other controversies I can only imagine Sonic and Ryuko’s reactions when hearing that they were used as an example for a crackpot theory

Looking at the anime and game the Dedede incarnations are about as different as night and day, (aside from clobbahin dat Kirbeh.) but I love em both.... Well, now I feel the urge to watch the anime for Semi-Southern Dedede and Spanish Meta Knight.
Dedede is a great character regardless of his alignment imo. I actually really liked dedede’s more sinister and villainous role in the anime series. He was such a lovable, funny and goofy asshole. Also Dedede wasn’t a villain in the subspace emissary in smash bros. He actually saved Luigi and ness from permanently becoming trophies thanks to the buttons he placed on them that reversed the effects.
I don't like how anime Dedede is portrayed as the main antagonist (aside from Nightmare) it goes against his personality in the games. Although his voice in the dub is amazing.
Great video as usual! 😯👌 I just hope we can find out more to king dedede, such as if he had ancient ancestors. He does have a forgotten chest which kept dark nebula, has masks of unknown orgin, knows a lot about the fountain of dreams, and has advanced technology he made or the ancients made, etc. Same could be said about meta knight? He knew about the nova, has a really strong battleship, his weapon could of also been made by the ancients, most likely got heavy lobster from planet mekkai, etc. They also both have symbols on void terminas body. I'd really like to know what you think about all this, does king dedede and meta knight have ancient ancestors or perhaps we're around when the ancients were? Edit: if you haven't seen my other theories definitely check em out! I really go in depth with them. Such as the people of the sky. They've been existing SINCE the dawn of time protecting coily rattler, same time as the ancients. They even have the abandoned paint studio in their turf, which btw that painting of paintra, though it says forgotten, it also states it's been there for countless years. They also got advanced technology! The fairy's in general. Ripple star fairy's got advanced technology and the crystal shards are sentient. Ribbon is the guardian of that said crystal. Elline who is also a fairy, is referred to be a magic paintbrush, knowing how claycia is said to be related to drawcia in some way, perhaps the ancients and them were inspired by one another? As claycia and elline want to make their own world. Drawcia as well. Something else to note, they had advanced technology as well. Claycia having ancients blueprints and making use of them to make hoopalagoon and perhaps the bastron? The bastron was originally made for pleasure cruises just like the lor starcutter but then was transformed to a battleship. Credit to Chinyere Udeh for some of the Info! They did a much more detailed analysis on it, so I'd definitely look at that!

What a triumph is this video! I would like to point out that King Dedede's relationship with Bandanna Waddle Dee has slowly decreased over time. They were friends perhaps as early as Kirby 64 (If you believe that theory), and reached the peak of their relationship in Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Revenge of the King. However, in modern games like Kirby Battle Royale and especially Kirby Fighters 2, the two don't seem to have a close relationship anymore, maybe because Dee decides to help Kirby instead of his old King, but still. I wonder what your thoughts are on this to anyone who sees this, although I don't think you can argue with this logic. PeaS: I'm not sure if Rainbow Curse can be considered as an example for this logic line. Bandanna Waddle Dee is shown to be relatively far away from King Dedede's castle rather than serving there, but to say that this counts as evidence is a big stretch. PeaPeaS: Ok but seriously, how does Dedede fit ridiculously large items and artifacts in his robes, and how do they not fall off his person while he super jumps and crashes. Also, why does King D-mind take the form of Dedede; other than for aesthetic choice and a potential relation to Shadow Dedede? These are the questions HAL must answer.

King Dedede in Kirby's Adventure is probs a nice example of the phrase, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" in action. Good intentions, trying to keep Nightmare sealed, bad consequences tho as no one could dream.
Well, to determine, whether or not Dedede and Meta Knight ever worked together personally before Kirby fighters 2 deluxe, depends on if you consider Kirby Right back at ya, the TV show, to be canon!

The reason why Dedede never wins is because, unlike most other villains, his rival is a literal God Slayer
And even then, he still can hold his own against Kirby.

I like the voice, but (for the specific laugh) my favorite Dedede laugh is the one in Krool’s debut for Super Smash Bros.
This is why I say that SSB needs a legit Kirby villain for it’s roster. King Dedede & Meta Knight are not Kirby villains anymore.

I had this in mind since it dose have a remake of Kirby’s Dreamland as the first game in the game, but on to the point, I was thinking that Meta Knight and Dedede were probably enemies, trying to end his monarchy in the most extreme way until Kirby came in as the equalizer and maybe after that event Meta Knight rethink his actions and maybe decided to interacted with Dedede more often since and eventually became close friends all because of Kirbyc (and before you mention the name “Revenge of Meta Knight” well, that “revenge” was not on Kirby because his plans wasn’t against Kirby, it was against (Dreamland’s lazy lifestyle”. Kirby just got in the way of his “revenge”) but this can be false as there is a possibility that the timeline is in game order with Kirby’s Adventure coming after Dreamland.
It’s also possible that MK and DDD were the ones originally defending Dreamland before Kirby came along.
Not to mention in Robobot, they’re the first to go on the defensive when Haltmann Corp. attacks.

Considering Kirby has infinite power, it makes sense why DDD can never beat Kirby.
That being said, it’s also a *huge* feat that DDD can go blow-for-blow with a being with infinite power.
Conclusion: The Limitlessness is not Kirby's power output (That varies based on form, Kirby 64's Melting Ice Cube was underwhelming, while Dynamite was a multi-use Screen nuke) but instead his power versitility.

I think Kirby and dededes grudge was settled in return of the king. Everything he does now is more in rivalry. The case in which his clones having a grudge does prove that his angry feelings towards Kirby hasn't disappeared entirely even if it has been settled lots of the villains use this anger or emotion to bring out that grudge or hate when controlling dedede.
However if dedede were to truly beat Kirby now I think he would walk over and help Kirby get up. (Not sure if anything can truly beat Kirby but if dedede were too finally get what he wanted I think he will be more upset that he hurt his friend and caring towards kirby than happy that he won.)

I think Dedede has actually managed to earn the title of king. What a lad. He cares for his waddle dees, he never gives up, and it's clear he's tried to redeem himself from his food-stealing escapades- and even then, that may have even been for the waddle dees. He may be self-proclaimed, but in my eyes, he's a true king. Not by family lines, but by his actions.

I hope the next game (it better finally be a full 3D platformer) puts more emphasis on the lore. It's such an intriguing part of the franchise
While I can't say for sure, judging from various hints, we'll be dealing with more information about Void and the Four Heroes of Yore.
For the story of the next game, in Star Allies descriptions, it is hinted that Void will reincarnate and become a new friend of Kirby, so that will probably happen. As for the conflict, in Super Kirby Clash, it is hinted by BWD and Kumazaki himself that Galacta Knight will return in "another world" (perhaps the canon world), with someone like Kirby (so Kirby in the canon world) stepping up to stop him. So, perhaps Galacta Knight would somehow break free from his seal and rampage across the universe, with Kirby and friends trying to stop him.
Also, it's probably 3D based on code found in a datamine for Fighters 2, so that's cool I guess.

Bandana Dee is currently so confusing that he only got a small mention in this episode.
I've been thinking about his allegiance since Battle Royale but I have no clue why he would be so loyal to the King in RotK, but then fight him in BR and KF2.
For BR I think he was just helping Kirby out a little too much for the whole allegiance thing they've established with him, but in KF2 I have a personal headcanon that he felt kinda betrayed by Dedede choosing Meta Knight as his buddy so he went with Kirby to prove what a mistake he made and I like to think after the moon warriors stuff they had like a reconciliation and it was cute (like I said this is just a headcanon.)
He just has a lot more confidence to the point where he can challenge the king himself

Now how will Galactic Knight and Morpho Knight get separated? Well maybe Dark Meta Knight can cut the fusion in two, like how he did to Kirby in the beginning of Amazing Mirror.

They also interacted in an official Kirby and the Rainbow Curse comic (They notice world turning into stone, Dedede asks what should they do, Meta screams "Quick, strike a pose!" and in the next panel it shows Dedede lying on the ground with a thinking pose and Meta Knight hiding himself in his cape, both turned into stone. Exactly! While he technically wasn't born into the role, he serves all the purposes of a "legitimate" king and is seen and treated as such by everyone in his kingdom. Royal lineages have to start somewhere, so I'd say he's just the first royal in Dreamland.

Dedede is a great character regardless of his alignment imo. I actually really liked dedede’s more sinister and villainous role in the anime series. He was such a lovable, funny and goofy asshole. Also Dedede wasn’t a villain in the subspace emissary in smash bros. He actually saved Luigi and ness from permanently becoming trophies thanks to the buttons he placed on them that reversed the effects.

He does have a forgotten chest which kept dark nebula, has masks of unknown orgin, knows a lot about the fountain of dreams, and has advanced technology he made or the ancients made, etc. Same could be said about meta knight? He knew about the nova, has a really strong battleship, his weapon could of also been made by the ancients, most likely got heavy lobster from planet mekkai, etc. They also both have symbols on void terminas body. I'd really like to know what you think about all this, does king dedede and meta knight have ancient ancestors or perhaps we're around when the ancients were?
Edit: if you haven't seen my other theories definitely check em out! I really go in depth with them. Such as the people of the sky. They've been existing SINCE the dawn of time protecting coily rattler, same time as the ancients. They even have the abandoned paint studio in their turf, which btw that painting of paintra, though it says forgotten, it also states it's been there for countless years. They also got advanced technology! The fairy's in general. Ripple star fairy's got advanced technology and the crystal shards are sentient. Ribbon is the guardian of that said crystal. Elline who is also a fairy, is referred to be a magic paintbrush, knowing how claycia is said to be related to drawcia in some way, perhaps the ancients and them were inspired by one another? As claycia and elline want to make their own world. Drawcia as well. Something else to note, they had advanced technology as well. Claycia having ancients blueprints and making use of them to make hoopalagoon and perhaps the bastron? The bastron was originally made for pleasure cruises just like the lor starcutter but then was transformed to a battleship. Credit to Chinyere Udeh for some of the Info! They did a much more detailed analysis on it, so I'd definitely look at that!

What a triumph is this video! I would like to point out that King Dedede's relationship with Bandanna Waddle Dee has slowly decreased over time. They were friends perhaps as early as Kirby 64 (If you believe that theory), and reached the peak of their relationship in Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Revenge of the King. However, in modern games like Kirby Battle Royale and especially Kirby Fighters 2, the two don't seem to have a close relationship anymore, maybe because Dee decides to help Kirby instead of his old King, but still. I wonder what your thoughts are on this to anyone who sees this, although I don't think you can argue with this logic.
PeaS: I'm not sure if Rainbow Curse can be considered as an example for this logic line. Bandanna Waddle Dee is shown to be relatively far away from King Dedede's castle rather than serving there, but to say that this counts as evidence is a big stretch.

King Dedede in Kirby's Adventure is probs a nice example of the phrase, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" in action. Good intentions, trying to keep Nightmare sealed, bad consequences tho as no one could dream.
Kirby is also a true villain in the kirby anime but that is a whole other can of worms (or can of Waddle dees)
