      @@JnEricsonx probably the drugs and sex but not sure really ... Frankly though as far as cat movies go felidae probably deserved the x much ... Since fritz has it but felidae doesn't. A second guess would be it could be related to the time and how they rated the movies since i think fritz was made in the 70-80s, and felidae around the 90s. (For reference felidae is far more graphic and wtf-y compared and it's rated tv-ma)

    The American dub of The Street Fighter's Last Revenge did more than just re-edit some sequences out of order. The dub completely re-writes the plot. The Japanese version has Tsurugi seeking to maintain possession of a single tape, not two, that contains a potentially damaging confession of a powerful politician. The Japanese version has nothing whatsoever to do with synthetic heroin. It's worth seeing in its original subtitled version, as it is easily the best of the sequels.

    The uncut version of "Samurai Reincarnation"/"Makai Tensho" was so influential that it inspired "Ninja Scroll" in anime, "Samurai Shodown" in video games, and also "Kill Bill" with the blacksmith who forges almighty katana. Yagyu Jubei was one of Chiba's best performances. May he R.I.P..

    • @ididthisonpulpous6526
      @ididthisonpulpous6526 3 года назад +3

      The style and look of all Chiba's characters are incredible. The Shadow Warriors TV show basically set the tone for every ninja character after, also the origin of Hatori Hanzo. The Jubei character looks amazing. Sonny Chiba is one of the coolest actors of all time! I would run him alongside Steve McQueen or Connery as Bond, and I probably favor Chiba in the end.

    The more I watch this video and the more I hear Brad say "Jesus, Terry!", the more I want that to be on a shirt. It should be the next "Fuck Sol!"...

    Why Sonny Chiba and Toshiro Mifune never did movie together? That would be badassery overload!

    In the first movie, I was one hundred percent on Junjo’s side. I was hardcore rooting for him.

    With that being said, please review Story of Riki, Mr. Snob. It's a fine specimen of a martial arts film aka it's batshit insane!

      Still baffles me that Sonny Chiba was Space Chief (Iron Sharp). What a sleeping pill of a movie.

    I dated a rabid Sonny Chiba fan for a time, so that kinda made me a SC fan by proxy. RIP to "The Street Fighter". The good folks at SGP did him proud.

    The Killing Machine aka Shorinji ( Japanese title) which Sonny plays So Doshin founder of the Shorinji Kempo System. It has been rated as one of the best martial art genre films to come out of Japan. As a practitioner of this system here in Japan, it is the go-to movie for some Shorinji action besides Sister Streetfighter and its sequel.

      @@Sairin13 thing is, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new Candyman (love the first one though).
      Plus, it’s a severe understatement to say that I’m not a fan of the movie you’re quoting.

    Sonny Chiba is great but once you sell a woman into slavery you've gone a bit beyond anti-hero. He makes the stranger from High Plains Drifter look like Captain America
