Me and my wife ran this yesterday. Was hoping to bump into you to say hello but it was not to be. Lovely flat course, especially after running Kenilworth a few weeks ago. Great support from people, lots of water stations and well organised. But God, it was cold in those pens. Didn't know we were getting a t shirt so that was a bonus. I imagine it was due to your protest. Vive la MARM revolution!
Will - shame I didn’t get to jump into you. So many there though yesterday! Love the course - but could have done without the ice bucket challenge at the start. 👊🏻

I was one of the water volunteers at the finish point for the Oxford half (my home town so why not) and I gotta say, what an atmopshere from the runners, so positive and happy! Very glad they brought the tshirts back tho, shocking that last year was so utterly rubbish with no tshirt and shit freebies (well, basically no freebies really). Excellent protest! :)

Cheers Jim! Just had a wear of the t shirt. Aside from being able to see both nipples quite clearly through it, it’s a decent bit of kit. Also loved it today.

Great video as usual. I looked out for you but obviously no sighting! My first Oxford and a PB. Brilliant course and prettier than Northampton 😂😂. Seagrave Wolds 16 miler in November and they give you apple pie at the end! Then Milton Keynes in December and then time for a rest.

Have a feeling they were chancing it last year…but they got so much stick, they had to bring the T’s back. Quite right too. 13,000 runners paying £50 plus? Hope you had a great run today.
First time I’ve seen one of your videos but won’t be the last. I ran the race as well today and thought it was a wonderful course (probably because it’s predominantly flat) but boy was it cold hanging around for far too long before the race started (I was in pen F)
My 8th Oxford. Love it. Love the city, love the flat course. The Siberian start pens were a trial though. Thanks for being so nice about the videos. There’s a few to watch!! Share with your pals!
I am always impressed by how the runners are so stoic , cold, queuing etc never seems to daunt them, they are here to run and run they bloody well will !
Clive Staples Lewis would hold you in fond regard amazed that you have not already passed 1000 Subbers though you held to to the tenets of his Oxford - as for why the BBC have not picked up on your prodigious talent and originality is I feel sure is an oversight that will be corrected.
If your doing redditch next presumably your not doing cov half? I would have thought you would pick up more subs by doing as it has a much bigger field.
Almost wavering - but Redditch is a later start and my kids love the Primark. Won’t help with subscriber watch though!! 38 to go and just 4 races left….. So near and yet so far….

It was a bit parky. Lovely when running, but 30mins in the pen was an ordeal. Just tried the T Shirt. Well worth the protest.
