- Shotguns are very versatile. With the proper training and ammo these tools can be very devastating. Here are a few simple drills you can work on at the range or at home using snap caps.
This was selling for under $400.00, decided to buy it since it was a folding stock. It’s made in Turkey by Stoeger. Since the company is owned by Benelli it should be a decent shotgun. The one thing people will notice is it lacks a nice durable matte finish and uses plastic sights. I purchased a Benelli Supernova Tactical after. For the extra $100.00 the Benelli is a much better option than the Stoeger 3000 Freedom.
You get what you paid for.
I was setting here wondering witch one I should get you made up my mind Benelli
I have a Benelli supernova, very disappointed with it. Not a reliable gun even when well oiled and cleaned
Great video - I have the same piece; and I selected the monstrum picatiny mount shell carrier - sku - zh139 instead of a shell saddle - great review and video !!
Hey brother, thanks for the video. I have only seen one other video for this version of the shotgun on the tube (and it wasn't even close to being as informative). I appreciate your taking the time to do it. Even the so-called, online reviews, don't give anything more than the basic characteristics as listed by Stoeger. I liked how you showed the sights and demonstrated your shooting techniques. The one thing I wish you would have demonstrated was how the stock adjusts in the six different ways. I think most people understand how the cheek rest works and the folding of the stock, but I know that I wasn't aware of how the stock itself adjusted until I got mine. There just isn't anything out there that shows its versatility and I find that to be a pretty cool feature. Maybe sometime you can do a follow-up video and show how that works. Just a thought. Anyway, good job, keep up the good work.
I was definitely thinking about doing a follow up video. Thanks for the advice. I’ll make sure I include that in the next video review I do for the Stoeger.
Guy looks like he's training for a zombie invasion. A horde of zombies.
Saw it on sale for $350. Thinking about getting it
Subbed my brotha. Love to see more of us being competent firearms owners.
Good review Thank you
Working it like a pro!
Great movement!
Sweet Shotgun! I want the Semiautomatic one.
Good job on the video. GOD Bless.
Good video, bought this shotgun back in May, really nice for the price. Check out the ATI TactLite Stock 12 Gauge Shell Carrier it mounts to the ATI stock... Another good option in addition to the Esstac cards...
THIS is EXACTLY what I've been looking for for this shotgun! Thanks heaps!
Good video.
Nice video comrade
Very nice platform. And the price. 👌
You have to be the only person I’ve seen put a side saddle on the ejection port side of a shotgun.
It’s not in the way
The folding stock on the Freedom P3000 gets in the way of putting the side saddle on the other side. If you do put it opposite of the ejection port, with Velcro, you can still fold the stock, but only if you don't have a shell card attached, so at that point it is pretty much a useless gesture unless you always keep the stock locked in the shoulder firing position with a card attached. I've been looking to figure a good way to attach a side saddle to this shotgun, and having it on the ejection port side just may be the way to go. Thanks, Primetime, for the idea!
Paint your irons |_•_| 5x layers white 1st then color to preference ( mix yellow/green or yellow/red ) , white dot ⚪️ the center post, fill half of the bottom of rear ring sight in relation to front, use neutral color glow paint apply to just the dot and rear half ring and seal with matte spray sealer
Sweet rig. But why not the side saddle on the left side?
The stock folds in on the opposite side and doesn’t close if there is a side saddle there
@@primetimetacticaltraining Thx
Thanks for the video. Very well spoken. I heard another reviewer say to stay away from this stock at all costs because of the way it fits the thumb webbing. Thoughts?
It’s really all about personal preference at that point. I personally like the stock, because it reminds me of an AR platform
Mine holds 7+2 if I have one free floating and one in chamber normally how I carry my home defense shotgun keep it topped off and close by
Solid video. Good information and well articulated.
Will the P3000 shoot mini shells without a problem ?
I haven’t tried…. Yet
Ive just recently bought this gun. What type of sling do you recommend
Blue Force Gear
Is that the kind of sling (Blue Force Gear) that you're running in this video?
@@lagottooperator4336 yes
I set mine up with the Magpul MS1 and MS3 QD Adapter for the buttstock connection. Easy to 2 point carry on the front with the quick slide adjustment, but not so easy to shoulder carry.
I have one. I cannot get it to hold a shell in the tube. It just spits them all out like the cartridge stop isnt working
Oh wow. Might want to take it to a gun smith
I'm interested in specifics about the shotgun. Where it's made, how many of the parts/pieces are plastic, any problems/issues with the gun?
The P3000 Freedom Series Supreme is American made and has a pistol grip, along with a six-position telescoping rear stock that has an adjustable cheek rest. The stock also folds for compact storage and has an extended capacity, seven-round tube-fed magazine, plus one in the chamber. The shotgun has a cross-bolt safety, and the sights are ghost-ring style. I haven’t had any issues with it as of yet, but I’ve only put about 200 shells through it. Before I purchased the shotgun I was looking for a Remington 870, but they were hard to find. I later on found out that the company Remington went bankrupt and that was the reason why. I purchased the shotgun for around $460. Stoeger P3000 Freedom Series Supreme Features: Gauge: 12 Action: Pump Chambering: 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells Capacity: 7 rounds Barrel Length: 18 1/2 inches Overall Length: 40.50 inches Weight: 7.3 pounds Stock: Six-position, telescoping (3 3/4 inch adjustment) Barrel Finish: Blued Chokes: Fixed cylinder Sights: Ghost-ring rear, blade front Length-of-Pull: 14 1/8 inches Drop at Heel: 2 1/2 inches Drop at Comb: 1 1/2 inches
@@primetimetacticaltraining How much of it is plastic?
@@primetimetacticaltraining are you sure? Stoegers are made in Turkey as far as I know. What is written on the shotgun? if made in US wow I've never seen a American made ones. Interesting
I copied this from a description of this shotgun on a vendors page. "Combined the solid operating system of the P3000 and paired it with select US manufactured components to extend capacity of P3000 shotgun which is 922R compliant." I'm pretty sure it's made in Turkey. Still would like to know how many parts are plastic besides the stocks.
Call Stoeger
OMG!!!
