Visari responded by invasion of Vekta and he was right to do so. Kellen actually cared about Helghast lives which makes him much different in my book, and he didn't deserve death.

One of my biggest pet peeves in gaming or in movies is when the protagonist dies. I don't like getting invested in a character only to have him killed off. Especially in a stupid way such as this. If he would have died destroying the weapon or something i would have been a little more ok with it. But yeah fuck this ending. Killing sinclair did not bring me any type of satisfaction.
I remember playing the first game when I was a kid. I really love the first game. The story declined but has some good plot twists. Take a step back and you’ll realize ISA started all this and took everything from the Helghan. It still sucks that both of my fav characters died, Templar and Kellen. It also sucks that they just forgot about Hakha and Luger. I think putting them in part 2-4 would make a huge impact in the story. They just suddenly disappeared smh. If there would be a Killzone 5, I hope it would be in Helghast perspective.
This game started sooooo strong....graphic is fucking good!...then...till the free fall part.........then..another free fall part...then..the gun seat part..........then the ending........Started at a 8 out of 10..then may be a 5 at the end.

Okay, someone explain to me how an economic company and a military managed to become a race? From what I understand, Helgan is basically a mining corporation or something, while the ISA is just a military. It's not like they were genetically born to be as such.
Big Government came in to take everything from them, left them with nothing on a hell world. Took their bright and rich future from them, and left them on a world where you need minor genetherepy or long term adaptation to biologically prosper...and prosper they did. They adapted to the harsh environment and with a shared history they became their own people, and eventually they became their own government and a force the ISA could fear. It's like the history of the Israeli's, the Kurds, or any other social or economic minority who split to form their own identity. The Helghast were just people, but the ISA wanted Vekta and after taking it and it's riches for themselves squatted over their stolen riches all while in sight of their defeated and banished subjects of the helgen coorperation.

Much as I enjoy the Killzone series, I initially ask myself; are the villains ISA or the Helghast? After seeing this ending, can't really tell anymore.
