I put a red bead on my Texas rig when I throw 10in worms I’ve noticed significant results vs without it. I’ve caught many 5-8lb bass with that setup

I mite add that when I use bluegill for bait i scale one side so it futters in the water....easy prey!

Aii of your tips.sound awesome and I will try what I didn't know before your tutorial.
When talking about the color RED I have experienced very poor success with the color red. I live on long Island, the lakes are very different here than even and an hour north of the city. Not too deep and not too clean too much cover.
    But still.....Gotta fish!

I think having to catch your live gills by hook on a rod and reel is good. Thats how ive always gotten my bigger live bait and you can catch them reliably

Absolutely fantastic info brother! The KVDs favorite term is lateral line! Been fishing 35 years and had forgotten most of what you mentioned!

I'm 51 years old and have fished for bass...and other fish my whole life. Honestly the red color in my opinion doesn't matter at all...it's the action of the bait. My #1 go to is a chartreuse jointed floating 3 inch Rapala. I bought one in 1987 and JUST recently lost it on about a 5 pound bass in Washington state. The average bass here is around 2 pounds I would estimate. I have caught literally 100ds of bass...and trout on that Rapala. Presentation and action gets em every time! I also use the Banjo minnow...people here don't use the Banjo, but I sure do, it SLAYS LMB. Again the dying on life support fish action and presentation. Thanks for your no nonsense videos, I really appreciate the quality!

Daddyyak... thank boss.. and congrats on that 5lber... I'm from NE Ohio and to get a 5lber is winning for sure. Sounds like I need to get myself the rapala you are talking about. Thanks for the add

Alway's love the tips I do purchase lures with red hooks, whenever I come across a bass bait. Love the tips, Diy's, the hacks, and love the bass fishing info. 😎 🎣 👍

I use bluegill often for large mouth bass, i wish could send photos of the 5 to 9 lb bass ive recently caught on them.

I may be wrong but everything I've read about bass..they have excellent vision (it's why i wear camo when bank fishing..i look like the back ground) but can not see red. An that bass smell the blood of the injured.
    Enjoy your channel, tight lines.

Yes one of the best bass lures I ever had had a red plastic look like a piece of toy hanging off the back of it and I've never been able to find another one like it after I lost it

Different color for different places. In my home lake the colors were black or purple in a rubber worm. Silver ,gold,or perch in a jerk or crank bait. Up the road in a stream the color was chartreuse or silver. The trout stream by my house is a panther Martin with a brass blade, black body with yellow spots and a bug on the hook. Any other color would give less or no fish. Color is important.
