@@marybethcapane5490 Yes, 100% my believe. Realized later that he hadn't
      discarded that one shoe..
I certainly trust Bonnie, and I think Joey also. I'm thinking Joey's
timing when Dan had left (Bonnie was on the phone with Amber)
may be accurate. Maybe Amber didn't really care for Dan, but still
went along and let him put her bike in back of the truck so he could
give her a ride. With Bonnie's believes, him hanging himself, and the
type of criminal record Dan had, it's hard to lean in a different direction..
Not that he had anything to do with it, but like Bonnie, I also maybe
think that Forrest (at the least) had suspisions, but already had serving
hard time, the less he was involved, the better..
Oklahoma (just this past weekend) is very known for their storms. Brandi
I'm sure has been through a few, and this one mentioned was only the
      outskirts of one..
Not only smacked her around, but her boyfriend at/around the time also
once cut her neck! I just don't get how they can blame a storm, and pretty
      much leave it there?!
I have pretty tough skin, but Parents like this. That poor Mom (Bonnie)..

This is gonna be a very long comment but 3 things you mentioned kind of stood out to me about this and obviously, no one can give me a for sure answer but my thoughts and questions are..
    1. What if whoever took Amber was trying to throw police off when they put her stuff in one location and the other shoe in another area trying to make police think "oh since her stuff is over here they must have been in this area or gone this direction" when in reality they were somewhere else?
    2. What if Daniel wasn't the only one involved (if at all) and since the police wanted to talk to him the other person was that Forrest guy and he knew Daniel would tell what happened and so he was killed to look like a suicide? You said that Forrest was with him the day of the kidnapping and the day of the guy's death and that seems a bit suspicious to me.
    3. Is it possible that Brandie got sick of her boyfriend's crap and finally decided to leave him and as she grabbed her stuff he realized he didn't like that idea so he hit her or pushed her and she hit her head and that's why her clothes were all around her?
I love your videos by the way! ❤

@@lauravalancy2521 I think they took off her ring cause they wanted to get rid of any distinctive thing that may help police identify quicker the body if it was ever found. I also believe Daniel Smith and Forrest could have been accomplices, maybe they belonged to a Child Traffic ring or something. About the older sisters, it seems they were always hanging out with the wrong people, too many suspicious individuals in that case...

As someone that has experienced a few tornadoes in my life, one question was the trailer damaged at all? I lived in a solidly built farm house as a child with brick interior took down some walnut trees over the years and also experienced the Springfield Ill tornado as I lived there at the time. This was about fifteen years ago but took my balcony, left me without electricity for days and wiped out many businesses. Took my dogs into the bathroom away from the balcony that had a sliding glass window. During that time you could trace the path of a tornado with precision.

The day is especially cold here, and I needed a pause from studying. It's always a blessing to have your videos on perfect timing.
Now, about the cases... It's really sad, having sisters myself I just can't think of how it must be to lose a sibling like that, not knowing really what happened to her and living the rest of your life hunted by evidence, a suspect and probably responsible for it, and most likely reliving that day, thinking about what you could have done differently to avoid all of this. And then another tragedy, meeting such a strange end... Things just don't add up, I don't believe the storm was responsible for her death. I just wish for the family to get at least some answers, some sort of justice...
Thank you for another amazing video. As always, you were so respectful and genuinely caring with both cases, I will always appreciate your hard work and dedication.

To be clear, I'm not about to make assumptions about the entire state of Oklahoma, *BUT* damn! So many mysterious cases that have no resolution- just off the top of my head: The Jamison Family, Laura Bible & Ashley Freeman disappearance (and murder of Ashley's parents AND previous murder of her brother), and these two cases! All of these involve families, murder, disappearances & what can only be described (I'm just being honest) as complete inept OSBI/Law Enforcement. How are NONE of these cases solved? How? That's just off the top of my head. There are many others, and all of these really make me feel in my gut that something is very off in Oklahoma. I wouldn't live there if you paid me.

I wasted 5 years of my life in OKC. Horrid people. All of them. All around. The entire machine shop I worked at, over 20 men got pissed and threated to walk off CNC and welding jobs because the black guy in our qc shop got a raise. No shit. Cheapest employee there. Not one man had an issue with his work ethic. I kept asking until eventually some of, what I had previously considered were leaders, took me literally to the side of the shop to explain the black man shouldn't have gotten a raise because he's black. This was 2001.

I agree that the suicides in both cases are suspicious--but suspicious doesn't indicate an answer.
As for Amber's shoes, I think the perp was probably driving along, throwing her clothes out a car window at random, hoping they would not be found. I imagine it something like: shoe, drive a few blocks, shirt, drive a few blocks, darn it, I thought I threw both shoes out, well, here is as good a place as any...
As for Brandi--I have a friend who lives in OK City and was right on the border of the damage. Literally on the border--most of the houses on the other side of her street suffered significant damage like losing roofs. On her side of the street, minor damage was all. She said that the wind seemed quite high.
If Brandi was living in a trailer, then she may have known that those are really dangerous in tornadoes. You're literally safer going out and lying in a ditch in the open than you are to stay inside a trailer (or a small building on a slab, such as many convenience stores). If the wind is high, it can literally pick the clothes off a person's body but in that case, you'd expect to see the clothes strewn in a long line away from the body or not find any clothes at all. I'd love to see the official autopsy report in order to find out exactly what the basis for ruling her a storm victim was because the clothes thing seems really difficult to explain by any natural means.

Regarding Brandi... I was thinking it could also be caused by a microburst, which is an intense but small downdraft produced by a thunderstorm or rain shower. They are usually super quick and therefore can't be predicted or usually picked up on radar. This could have caused her to hit her head and make the clothing surround her. Also, her disability could have caused some head trauma, but not sure what her ailments were.

I'm a child of the 90s and my parents wouldn't let any of us bike alone even down the road until we were 13. Even then it was with caution, their caution has kept us 3 alive all these years. I've lived in London and you have to be alert, don't walk alone too far anywhere.
Poor Amber :( there are a couple of prime suspects I'd say. Daniel seems most likely. 😓😨 Or Joey Bishop, even Forrest Smith is creepy as hell...
If Daniel really did commit suicide then that's a clear sign of guilt. Someone who knew something may have killed him and made it look like a hanging. Joeys death is suspicious but then both of them were most certainly scumbags.

Same, my mom would never let me bike anywhere she couldnt see me. I think it depends on the maturity and life skills of the child but I think 12 is an appropriate age and only bike with friends, not alone. My mom was a Block Parent in the '70's. I dont know if they have Block Parents anymore, parents who had an offical Block Parent sign so if a child was lost or in trouble, they could go to a Block Parents house and have a safe place to stay until their parents picked them up.

Thank you for providing information about Amber's case. I really enjoyed watching your video so much I subscribed to your channel. I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and I remember Amber's case. I am still mystified about her case even to this day. Such a sad case about both sisters. I especially feel sorry for their deceased mother, and remaining family members that have to live with knowing they were murdered. I have not seen any videos inregard to Amber and her sister. I had no idea that years later Amber's sister would also pass away under mysterious circumstances. I greatly appreciate you presenting both of these cases which it seems to me that they have been forgotten. I am from a very small country town in Southern Oklahoma. There is three unsolved cases in Garvin County. These cases have mystified me because they are in close proximity to where I use to live. Could you present a video about Sheila Deviney, Chandra Turner, and Tom Horton. The press calls their cases the Garvin County 3. All three cases were ruled suicides, but evidence at all three crimes points to homicide, especially Sheila Deviney and Chandra Turner. Both of these girl's crime scenes were horrific, but the Garvin County sheriff's office ruled that they committed suicide. Just the crime scene alone will tell you that they were murdered. Even the Oklahoma Medical Examiner 's office had reported that Sheila and Chandra were murdered, but the Garvin County sheriff says, Not! They committed suicide. Thank you.

I think there is a very good chance that Daniel kidnapped Amber. Without getting into to much detail I think he forced something down her throat, and she asphyxiated on the object, and her own vomit. So not wanting to drive with that smell, he removed said items, and tossed them (maybe the ring came off with the sweater). I think Forrest knew, or suspected that Daniel harmed the young girl, so he hung him in a public place to show that he was dealt with.
I wonder if the location he was found hanging is close to where he disposed of Amber?

The way the the shoes and sweater was found it sounds like the perpetrator either disposed of the sweater and shoe and realized he or she had the other shoe in the car or in their house later on and got rid it of at a random location. Or they planted it that way to throw police off.

Gabby, this has nothing to do with this video! Lol! I have only recently discovered your channel and have been watching several older videos on early Hollywood starlets. Do you not find it ironic how many YOUNG starlets passed away SO YOUNG? I HAD NO IDEA, until I watched your stories. You are obviously MUCH YOUNGER than I, and I am so impressed with your devotion. Possibly a reincarnated star? Yes, I believe in that. Thanks for your hard work!

On the older sister, did anyone happen to find a laundry basket or a clothes line nearby? Maybe she didn't have a dryer and when the storm came by she ran out to get the clothes becuase she had forgotten them outside or something. Just a thought.

Listened three times to try a figure out what was up. Did Brandi have a car that she was carrying out an arm load of clothes, then got hit in the head with wind blown debris? Possible, but with the history of abuse, the statistics would be that domestic violence is the cause.

do you know if they searched the forest where he killed himself? was it a significant place, maybe where she was buried and he was leaving behind a clue? my guess is that both men were involved (hence one committing suicide before talking, and the other having nightmares)...and is it possible that her sister found out about her boyfriend being amber's killer before she was murdered?

I knew both of these girls Amber and Britney, Britney was married to my brother when they were very young, right before Joey and if I remember correctly that may have been why they split. Do you not find it odd that Joey was there when Amber was taken and called the day after Britney died to ask where she was? Bonnie replied it's too late... Do you think maybe he went to get her and was again throwing her clothes around and fought in the yard and she fell and he ran, hince the phone call after her death.

Also she has a sister Penny Barker you didn't mention, she has a lot of information if you want to dig into that you would be much better off than contacting Debbi. Debbi has always been an addict and is never in the right frame of mind, she has hooked all of those kids in that family at one time or another on the crank or crack or what ever they can get. Penny is the only one in that family that could - do either of these stories justice. I was excited to see your video I often go looking on line for Amber and that's how I ran into this story - I would do anything for the cops to open an active investigation on both of the girls. It's a cop-out that the police know for a fact it wasn't weather and still won't open an investigation - but that also gives their lazy asses one less cold case in their county... Life is not a matter of business to them and that looks to be factual.

Some women don't date guys that live right, it just don't turn them on. And drug users don't attract good guys. It's a shame the little girl did not have a chance to live life. you do not hear a mention of a father at all. I know with my daughter now I'm so watchful, the world is a scary place.

Seriously your videos are amazing and full of heart💗 my suspicion falls on the boyfriend as well in both cases (or Brandy's ex boyfriend) why take your life if you are innocent of blame and it sounds like a very lazy investigation in the older sister case. I live in that area where tornados but and have seen it leave one house after taking out a entire block of houses yet the scene you describe doesn't sound plausible as a victim of a storm to convenient if you ask me. My heart breaks for the family they deserve closure. Keep up the amazing work💖

For my two cents Amber I feel like all "blue" arrows point to Mfr.Smith . The blue seats, blue rugs, and blue dash. Not to bring up the fact he hung himself. The older sister is a bit more harder like I need more info

My theory on how her shoes and sweater were scattered shows that she put up a huge fight against her abductor. When we played as kids and grabbed someone and was trying not to let go of them, if they had removable clothes like a coat or sweater, they would keep pulling their arm until it solid out of the sleeve and the tug of war continued until the remainder of the item came off and they escaped. I know, we played rough. Vomiting is also a sign of a concussion after being hit in the head. But if this big a struggled happened in a public area, it looks premeditated since it happened when traffic was light and the neighbors wouldn't notice. Shoes will also come off during a struggle or during a fast as heck run. Often times parents can't find good fitting shoes for growing kids or they simply are laced up tight enough to keep them on during a fast sprint

Yeah. Smith probably confided in someone and whoever killed Brandy they weren’t connected to Amber’s disappearance and likely murder. If there was a connection, like Debbie uncovered something about her sister’s disappearance, then I don’t know. I think her sister’s disappearance affected her hard. Terrible for the mom to lose two daughters.

This is one very tragic story. In my opinion, a very dysfunctional family. Yes bad things happen to good people all the time. However people do gravitate to what they are familiar with. If that is domestic violence .. psych 101 theory? Yes. Look at any language any culture thousands of miles and as many years apart. Yet identical pearls of wisdom can be found across years and miles as human nature is human nature. The simplest answers are generally the correct answers!

As for poor Brandy, she obviously was traumatized as a direct result of what happened to her sister. Because of her lifestyle she was marginalized and thats as unreasonable as it is cruel. People that are substance abusers, especially those who cant maintain stable housing, are quite often tortured souls whose horrific life stories are with them all the time, yet society treats them as disposable. Thats never ok, it could be you or your loved one.

Both of these deaths have overtones of kidnapping and sex trafficking in them, especially scatter of clothing randomly around the victim or in geographically separated area. Daniel's death sounds like he was a confidant of these kidnappers and they staged his death to look like a suicide because he was a 'loose end'. But I am speculating at this point.

@@lauravalancy2521 that's uncalled for. I'm the oldest sister of Amber and my mom would never sale my sister and if you payed attention to the story you'd realize they weren't there when call was made. That's what this girl was trying to say is that the two guys were lying. My mom knew who was at the house when the call was made.
