Arceus in the that theory is like updating the world like: -Added swords of justice. The humans were exploiting nature thus this patch will prevent that -added landorus. Due to thundurus and tornadus being out of control, landorus should control them better
Ho-oh's Silver counterpart based on beta designs was supposed to be some sort of Lion like pokemon. Lugia's typing was created on the spot by the game designers and chose flying cause it had wings and psychic because psychics are strong, so blame them for Lugia not being water. Also Lugia is the mother of the sea, so is supposed to be gendered, 100% female, but the movie hired a masculine voice for Lugia.
Did You Know Gaming actually has an amazing video all about the (pretty dark and depressing) origins of Lugia and the Pokémon 2000 movie. Everyone should definitely go check it out. It's worth your time.
14:37 wasn't keldeo a pokemon SAVED by the Swords of Justice, which was then adopted and trained? This whole theory is so weird. It brings up the Great Pokemon War being connected to the war Keldeo was saved from. But nowhere in the games does it insinuate that both wars were somewhat connected. If anything, the war in where Keldeo was saved was probably the conflict that caused the Original Dragon to split.
I guess the person who made this theory imagine Mew and Deoxys as G Man from Half Life, controlling Keldeo's destiny to make sure he eventually ends up training with the trio. Keldeo from what we know had parents tho, so I guess Mew and Deoxys just chose Keldeo to be this hero instead of straight up creating him. Or maybe they made his parents, I have absolutely no idea
Yeah, the entire theory makes very little sense. Half of their entire theory is invalidated due to the already established official lore. It's bizarre they didn't think about this when typing up this entire "theory".
I love the nahsible vs possible so much. These conspiracy videos always make me think about how deep the lore of the Pokemon world is, and I'm here for it. Thanks for the video ttar!
9:48 but can't Jirachi grant 3 wishes? I'm pretty sure that's why it has those 3 tags on it's head, one for each wish. Also, pokeballs are mass produced in Kalos, not Unova. Also why would reshiram and zekrom care about the price of the things that people use to capture them 💀
Why does everyone forget that if Yveltal dies it kills everything, (including Xerneas), the Xerneas absorbs this life force and redistributed it, reviving Yveltal. Zygarde keeps balance. These are probably creators of most life.
Zekrom and Reshiram: fighting over the ideologies of truth and ideals, two ideas that exist together yet contradict themselves. Some theorist: uhhh. No, capitalism caused the war
The lore dive was pretty solid but needs a lot of work. You can’t just rewrite things like Reshiram and Zekroms already established more with the original dragon but I do like what they’re doing here
There needs to be a game where when dialga and palkia made the universe there was accidental life on another planet and we are tasked to see the new pokemon there and register them new legends game perhaps?
The fact that I went from watching these videos over summer break with my friends to watching them wile going to work is crazy, thanks for shaping my childhood ig
also, kyurem is not separate from the original dragon at all... all three of them were the same dragon, when they split, kyurem was the hollow husk left behind. that's what it says in the game.
I always thought that the giant Dragonite was just its Gigantamaxed form that had wandered around further proving that the Pokemon world map really is that well constructed thanks to Regigigas.
Lugia was indeed created for the movie. Dr lava and did you know gaming did a lot of research and posted videos about this I highly recommend you check it out. We don’t know if the scrapped lion Pokémon from gen 2 was going to be the mascot for Pokémon silver or not but that seems like the most plausible theory right now
7:28 "What was great? That my grandma and grandpa is a Mr. Mime and Jynx?!" His reaction makes me think it isn't the first time he's heard someone tell him that his grandparents were a Mr. Mime and Jynx
TTar reading that crazy pokemon bible fanfic with humans coming from jynx and mr mime or reshiram and zekrom fighting over pokeballs prices is peak comedy.
My theory for regigigas: After the battle between kyogre and groudon the world was a complete mess, the land was scattered in tiny chunks all over the world. Then one pokemon decided something needed to be done and through some magical means, maybe after an epic adventure, it became regigigas (since it makes no sense it existed already).
The giant dragonite from the anime was just a stray malfunctioning attraction from that island with giant pokemon that was revealed to be just a theme park. The island itself was called "Pokemon land" and that giant dragonite was just a stray robot that ended up roaming around the lighthouse. This is even more proven by the fact that "Mystery at the light house" (the episode where the mysterious giant dragonite appears) is episode 13 of the anime and "Island of the giant pokemon" (the one with the giant robot pokemon) is episode 17. So basically, it was just foreshadowing about a future episode. Fun fact: The pokemon journeys anime kinda made a cool reference to the "Mystery at the lighthouse" episode by having Lance´s dragonite use dynamax (essentially having a giant dragonite) in (almost) the exact same date of the official airing of that episode.
Bro, that wasn't a theory, that was some damn fan-fiction lol... I'm convinced that whole, long-ass, "theory" was written by a very intelligent, yet very imaginative and overly excitable, 9-year-old. Thanks Ttar for posting this video instead of deleting it before you ever even finished reading their Pokénovel.
@@au7923 For sure, I agree! I enjoyed the video, like I do all of Ttar's videos. I just felt like it was a stretch for the OP to call it a theory. It seemed more like wish fulfillment to me. Like that's just what they wished the real lore was, if you get what I mean.
The whole timeline theory seen here definitively has a few holes, but it does create very unique reasonings for many murky parts. SOme parts I especially liked where Heatran being the reason legendaries can't breed normally, the eeveelutions not leaving the tower because of hope, and latios & latias being made to scout the world for the life that exist in it.
My theory is that Arceus only created one Pokémon... without help, anyway. That being, Unown. Think about it- when you do the Sinjoh Ruins event, Arceus gets hundreds of Unown to converge on that one spot and then the Egg containing your new baby dragon god comes to be. I think Arceus came to be with all its powers, but not the best of control over them yet, so in creating the universe, it also created a thousand of these little beings, imbued with fractions of its power, so that when they all work together as one, they can help Arceus to better focus its power and create with better precision and consistency- these beings, after all, were all over the place, with inconsistent appearances and powers, horribly weak while alone, only really any kind of powerful when working with the rest of its kind. These first thousand Unown helped Arceus to better shape creation and give rise to time, space, and antimatter, and subsequently willpower, emotion, and knowledge. And over time, these helpers of Arceus, passed down through legend, through basically several millennia of the telephone game, became known as little more than Arceus's thousand arms, and the link between Arceus and Unown was forgotten, with the Unown's history and significance becoming... well, unknown.
I HAVE A THEORY, the Alakazam, Jigglypuff, and Gengar we see in the anime with weird markings are the next clones mew two tried to make or the scientist made and they escaped the lab or were set free cause notice they have the same markings as the 3 clone starters of Kanto mew two had. Due to the fact that these were made super early or before the kanto trio this is why they grew huge.
They already made Pokémon that don’t appear in the games, and when I say that I mean Pokémon who may have game models but can only be obtained through hacking or in game gift events, aka Diancie and Hoopa. Neither have any stories within any game and even though when you obtain legendaries in ORAS you go through a ring similar to Hoopas rings, there’s no true reference to it other then in the movies same goes for Diancie
Parts of that entire long theory about Pokémon and Man don't make sense. The Regi Trio was created by Regigas, not Arceus, Unknown couldn't haven't been banished with Giratina since they're known as the "hands" of Arceus and are associated with it as well, Genesect was revived from a fossil from over 100+ million years ago (which Humans weren't possibly aorund), Kalos is known for their mass production of Pokéballs- not Unova, Keldeo being recruited by the Swords of Justice (not created), etc. Their theory is sound until you start plugging in the actual official lore points that have been established in the lore for over 10+ years now.
I have a theory that Pokemon and humans came from two different dimensions/universes/realities that merged a long time ago, maybe by some powerful legendary Pokemon. Or maybe the Pokemon universe existed as its own thing until some time in the very distant past, some humans showed up from a different universe, probably by accident, and then repopulated and took over. The games are no strangers to alternate dimensions

They say, "Plate tectonics were the real stars of the show." (Source: Helix Chamber translation)
