It would be wonderful if you could list the ingredients in print like a recipe
Great idea!
I don’t think you said how much salt was used?
This is great! Roundup and other chemical weed killers are so toxic and dangerous. It’s nice to have a natural based alternative
This is a well done video, but you do need to tell us how much of each ingredient you put in your recipe. If specific amounts of each are not important, please let us know that, too. Thanks. You did a nice job with this.🙂
It would be nice to have the amount of ingredients shown
How much of each ingredient?
You can also take a bar of Kirk's Coco Castile soap. Dissolve it in water and it work the same as dish soap, but is an organic soap. You could add with olive oil, then mix in your formula.
Kirk's makes a Liquid castile soap ..... I think Walmart has it .
How much of each ingredient for a Bach.thanks
This will be great because we won't have to wait until we are at 70 degrees. Our weeds get to large and I feel the need to have them pulled. Of course I do not want to use herbicides either.
can i use 99% vinegar as a weed killer, if i will dilute a small amount of it in 5 liters sprayer and the rest is water ?
I'm confused? I bought a large bag of pool salt? That's what u said to use? Plzcan I have recipie using pool salt and extra strength vinegar
This sounds like a great recipe. How long does the residue last in order to replant more desirable plants in the garden?
Depends on rain levels.
Maybe I missed it but I rewatched several times, how much salt did you use for this recipe? A cup?
Yes correct
Could you please tell me if this will not harm lawn grass ??? Thanks
Its an herbicide technically and will kill virtually anything its sprayed on. However I've not had success with household vinegar. I'm using 30% vinegar full strength with 2 cups of epsom salt and 1/4 cup of dawn. On a hot day +80 degrees whatever you spray won't have a chance.
You can just use straight 30% vinegar no need to add anything
Well? If you add epsom salt it helps intensify the 30% vinegar and the dawn helps to coat whatever you're spraying for effectiveness.
I have a broadleaf weed that grows horizontally under the soil with little white balls. Truly evil. You pull one and fifty come back. So I was going to try your mixture. Should I dig out the weeds and then spray. The local horticulturalist told me to dig out all of it and apply a pre-emergent. I've been fighting this for a long time. Please, what would you do?
Could you use Castile soap as a surfactant that would mix better than oil?
I think so
How much water?
Is this safe around chickens and food crops?
Avoid spraying on or near
…. And it could be Salad Dressing!😂
A note about heating the water for the salt. My readings show that there is very little difference between unheated and heated water as far as dissolution is concerned.
How do you kill poison oak under the trees?
Do any of these ingredients attract ants ?
Olive oil in a sprayer? NOOOOO.
