If you really re-watch the show, he seems to contradict himself in it kind of not really but Mr. Wonderful and many more could feel an attack if they did sensed a contradiction. He said quote "I really do like him as a person but I feel as an investor in the company it will be really bad" then he says "the structure actually is quite good... it's the person" Here you could think he is is personally attacking the person not the investor in that person as he first stated. Then after this he smashes it saying "I would take an offer from everybody besides Mr. Wonderful" so now it feels like a personal attack. I don't think he meant that but after all this it looks like it and that is why he was attacked as retaliation really.

I mean respectfully speaking, you could have said that while you respect the offer, you didn't feel it was a good fit. Saying "I'd take the deal from anyone besides Kevin O'Leary" not only offended the other Sharks, but imagine how Kevin felt extending his hand to work with you? @@vinaye20 he was on live tv, dude's already pretty rich, but not shark level rich. I think he was offered 500k investment but he knows him being clowned by the sharks will be broadcasted to millions of people and he probably doesn't think it's worth to get help by a man who laughed at him and be remembered as that dude with no self respect. I'm pretty sure he made up that " I will not get investment from that guy" on the spot, well that's my perspective at least

Though in theory yes science works for many applications across creating different products with the same theoretical end results, the results are still theoretical. And when it comes to entrepreneurship and investors, many want to hear solid facts rather than sales based on theory. They have been integrated with factual sales rather than something that could work. Again it is their money you are dealing with, not your own.
Oh and I would not want to pay 219$ for what is essentially a gumpack finger shocker on a self-made timer. People can also see this as a self harm tactic and become addicted. Not all humans react the same cognitively.

Watching this interview a few years after Shark Tank (especially after the reactionary era of RUclips) definitely changed my perspective a bit. I think the way he was pitching it put it way out of proportion and on shows like those, you NEED to have clinical trials or else they'll think the product is bullshit. However I can definitely see the show try to spin it in their way, especially because of the fact it was the season finale. If you had pitched this more pragmatically and came in with clinical trials, I definitely think this would have turned out a lot differently. Keep going dude and I'm sure you'll prove them wrong. :)
Edit: Also Kevin O'Leary is definitely an asshole. He's known as the Canadian Trump in Canada. You made the right choice.

  • @teddym2808

Why is this guy being so ratio'd? Now I am starting to understand why RUclips removed public thumbs down display (although I am seeing it with an extension workaround).
Kevin aka Mr not wonderful, showed his true character when someone simply didn't want to work with him. One polite rejection and he went on a vile insulting tirade. That shows you what the rich elite really think of us - as nothing but poop on the bottom of their shoe. I am SO glad this guy rejected the offer as he obviously could sense that Kevin is morally bankrupt. To the uploader, hope the product was a success and you made millions. All the best from Australia.
