Kevin was right tho! You can’t go around saying your product is amazing because theoretically its meant to work 😂 you’re meant to fund research independently on the actual product
Then why did he want to invest? LOL.
@@teddym2808 he wanted to make money off the scam
@@teddym2808
. That's the point why he didn't take the offer why he did not go with him because Kevin is great and he will not partner in the best interest of him or the company he only will partner in the best interest of himself and that's something he did not want to do it right now I believe you did a good job by not accepting that offer
@@teddym2808 are u pavlok owner?
@@christianjun6393 what's a pavlok?
The dumbest thing he said was I will a take a deal from anybody besides Mr. Wonderful when all the other sharks were out.
He wasn’t accepting that offer though. It wasn’t dumb if he knew he wouldn’t have accepted the offer.
@@jeffm1083 It was the lamest excuse to turn down the offer just because of what Kevin o'leary said about Poverty if he's saying it makes people try to work harder than why are you mad at that. Some millionaires right now were living in Poverty when they were young and look where they are now making millions.
@@chrisnoziere2893 the excuse doesn’t matter. If you own a company and you don’t want a particular partner, you shouldn’t. He didn’t want to work with him. He’s a business owner. That’s his right. He told him directly that he didn’t want to work with him respectfully. Mr wonderful was the one cursing him out and getting upset. Mark said things that were also uncalled for. He didn’t want the deal so he walked away. What’s wrong with that?
@@jeffm1083 But Maneesh was wrong either way for saying I will take an offer from anybody besides Mr. Wonderful and making Kevin look bad like he's not worth anything.
@@chrisnoziere2893 how does that make him look like he’s not worth anything? You have the right to refuse a deal if you don’t think you and that person are going to work well together. He shouldn’t take offense. Sharks turn people away every episode. Why is it so bad when the business owner is turning them away?
"he said I'm stealing other people's research" no he said proving aversion therapy works doesn't prove your product works. That's why he said it needs trials
Because you were rude, dishonest, and condescending. In reality you didn't take Kevin's offer because you knew that your valuation was false and the offer was based on that.
If he knew his evaluation was called wouldn’t he take the deal. Idk his product seems like it would work and that Mark was so aggressive and confident it made him look bad
bro he literally said he has ADD and the sharks didnt take it into account , they overwhelmed him sooo much, they themselves need to know how to speak to ppl. The product was good , u dont need to do your own clinical trials if the methodology and the concept is cleared by the citations he provided.@@daniel9485
It was heavily edited though. His presentation was 45 minutes, all we got to saw was 5 minutes. His crazy facial expressions were very obviously edited.
I wouldn't buy that product because of his pitch, when you talk that fast you just wanna confuse people.
It could be the ADD. I have a few friends and relatives with it and it shows up a lot
Sounds like the same logic as voting for a President based on looks. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Something isn’t adding up. He gave them all device with their name engraved at the beginning of the presentation but, then a producer afterwards said that one of the sharks wanted one? Wanted something that he already gave them? This dude is full of it.
I’ve met Kevin O’Leary in real life . He’s a really nice person . FYI
They make him and Mark rude for dramatic effect.
@@jamesbraun9842 big facts
You can't really say he's nice by just looking at one interaction, while also, I agree that producers might have asked him to be more agressive to make the show more interesting. But still, It's easy to not be a dick, when you have no reason to be one.
@@DarkMug he is a frequent business traveler . Never had an issue . So..
All politicians except Trump behave nice - does not mean they are good people in real.
He did not turn down Mr. Wonderful politely because he said he can't work with Kevin and he said I will take a deal from anybody besides Mr. Wonderful when all the other sharks were all out.
This person is doing the same mistake every entrepreneur does - "He is lying to himself."
Turned him down politely? Whatever makes you sleep at night buddy.
Guy lies that he was nice to Kevin, he said it politely but the words attacked Kevin the person
He's not lying, he's just unaware of nonviolent communication. Most of us are.
Firstly he was beaten badly by the shark from start. He did try to put it nicely though. He did say he likes him as a person, he is not focused on money, even structure of deal was good. I feel his mother tongue is different language.
@@jkm6112 whatever feeds your delusions bro.
If you really re-watch the show, he seems to contradict himself in it kind of not really but Mr. Wonderful and many more could feel an attack if they did sensed a contradiction. He said quote "I really do like him as a person but I feel as an investor in the company it will be really bad" then he says "the structure actually is quite good... it's the person" Here you could think he is is personally attacking the person not the investor in that person as he first stated. Then after this he smashes it saying "I would take an offer from everybody besides Mr. Wonderful" so now it feels like a personal attack. I don't think he meant that but after all this it looks like it and that is why he was attacked as retaliation really.
He should've just said the reason he couldn't work with him so Mr. Wonderful could understand.
he was just overwhelmed, the guy has ADD , and they approached him with so much noise , like if they would have spoken calmly the pitcher would have been in a calm state. Yes u should grill people when your money is at the forefront but if you get told they have ADD your approach should be different and a bit more considerate
Dude do you think that maybe because Kevin O'Leary could have been a little pissed because he was the ONLY one to make you an offer despite how you were getting chewed up, and then you chose not to work with him because of "the person" he is...
I mean respectfully speaking, you could have said that while you respect the offer, you didn't feel it was a good fit. Saying "I'd take the deal from anyone besides Kevin O'Leary" not only offended the other Sharks, but imagine how Kevin felt extending his hand to work with you? He believed in what you were doing despite how badly you rubbed Mark Cuban.
Then again hindsight is 20/20 but from this interview I see no regret or shame in how it was handled, and I can see why you had a lot of backlash.
Remember how directly before giving an offer, O'Leary called Maneesh a ball of combustion and add. Such a nice person
Because if the abusive father is the only one willing to house you, you should take that offer?
When you say something like 'i will work with anyone but you' you're making a very personal insult, so i don't fault o'leary for getting angry. If sethi is as smart as he claims to be, he could have figured out a more polite way to make that statement, like 'i don't think our visions align' or 'i don't feel you would be a good fit as a business partner'. You know, things that are basics for anyone who knows anything about dealing with other human beings in the business world. Also: if people find out that you can be annoyed into blurting out stupid things, they'll exploit that weakness. Shock yourself out of that habit, maneesh.
He’s trying to safe face. Speaking of face he’s got a punchable one 👊🏻 he should try his Pavlok to lose that gut
Weird
He made a fool of himself in the shark tank pitch. Self contradictory and snappy. Learn to humble yourself a bit more. Those sharks are way more experienced and successful and you are not anywhere near that. At least give them due respect.
He should try and sell this to the Government.
2:56 reason is here. Never thought he would have moral reason for keeping Mr. Wonderful out of that deal.
But why death threats? Who exactly is this death threat brigade that just gets activated, and why they are not traced and prosecuted? If someone would call and threat me, I would come down on that person like the Devil himself would.
I would never want to partner with this guy. He seems super difficult to work with and I’m glad everyone saw right through his scam
Only reason your sales went up is you advertised your product on the show. That’s the real reason why you went on the show for.
His sales didn't go up. They went down lol he says it in this video
You are an idiot, watch the video before you comment.
That's the dumbest excuse to turn down the offer just because Mr. Wonderful said on TV about Poverty. When he said that he said when Millionaires right now were young they have nothing. You have to put in the work in order to be successful. He never said it's a good thing he said it needs them to put in work in order to achieve your goals.
But why are you defending an elitist billionaire?
LoL he did say 3.5 billion people being in poverty he applauds it and what could be wrong with this. His intention was positive, the way he said it was a bit wrong.
Dude look at the way the guy reacted from a gentle, polite rejection. As if the Lord himself was saying "how dare someone not want to work with ME". I mean seriously. Scumbag elite billionaires do not need defending.
It's not about what's dumb or not - it's about his choice ! Mr Wonderful should not have misbehaved with him whether he refuses or not - he ain't anyone's slave.
@@ahmedzakikhan7639 But he didn’t turn down Mr.Wonderful politely at all he tried to get a deal from the other sharks when they were already out. It was really disrespectful to Kevin when Maneesh said I will take a deal from anybody besides Mr.Wonderful!
There’s no chance in hell that Kevin wanted a gay ass bracelet after the show
From the minute he walked in in that pitch, I remember getting a very stuck up, snarky vibe off of him. Like some online gamer in fortnite that's just waiting to trash talk and prove themselves as an a**hole. Legit brought back memories of me getting bullied by people like that, and the same people had the audacity to claim they were victims of things like ADD when they were older without even acknowledging or rectifying the mistakes and harm they caused people before in their life.
My least favorite kind of people are the oversmart types, they usually dont know when to shut up and be humble, and think everything will work out cause some data somewhere says so.
He was being oversmart, disrespectful, couldnt take a simple laugh from everyone but was lowkey trying to joke on and "silence" Mark for calling out how stupid he is, and had this annoying AF smile the whole time lol
Mr. Wonderful truly did his name right with the way he told him to leave at the end. And Mark said it right "see ya, wouldn't wanna be you".
That’s not how science works

Kevin can dish it out but can't take it. The sharks were rude to him first.
He turned down the only offer because he only came to be exposed and knows the numbers he advertised on the show were false. Even here he couldn’t come out with names of actual places selling his product because they would sue for false information
Bogus pitch
Lets be real. This guy aint going nowhere.

To be honest, Im with him on this one, of course the Sharks wont allow themselves to get a bad edit.
I really felt like he was being clowned on for no reason, when I watched the show, but still believed the investors more, because, well, they have more experience. Now I see that they may have more experience, but they aren't the wisest people
“The reason why is that Mr Wonderful is on TV saying that 3.5 Billion People living on poverty living on a dollar a day is a good thing. He’s like “IT MAKES THEM STRIVE TO WORK HARDER!” And I’m like ‘I don’t want someone like that working at my company’”

Why? Cause them billionaires who clearly has ego problems was giving off bad vibes since the start to end of his pitch, if you were in manish's shoes you would feel the same, they were mocking him in front of the camera, laughing against him, manish was clearly hurt and he got defensive and then the sharks liked that. Manish was put in difficult shoes, you wouldn't feel like getting investment from a guy who insulted you and your product, I would have probably refused the minor pity investment after all that insult cause my ego couldn't probably handle it. He is a human being and they made manish look like a clown, a from all his videos in the internet, everywhere berates him for being the asshole eventhough they probably would have done worse in his shoes.

Though in theory yes science works for many applications across creating different products with the same theoretical end results, the results are still theoretical. And when it comes to entrepreneurship and investors, many want to hear solid facts rather than sales based on theory. They have been integrated with factual sales rather than something that could work. Again it is their money you are dealing with, not your own.

Watching this interview a few years after Shark Tank (especially after the reactionary era of RUclips) definitely changed my perspective a bit. I think the way he was pitching it put it way out of proportion and on shows like those, you NEED to have clinical trials or else they'll think the product is bullshit. However I can definitely see the show try to spin it in their way, especially because of the fact it was the season finale. If you had pitched this more pragmatically and came in with clinical trials, I definitely think this would have turned out a lot differently. Keep going dude and I'm sure you'll prove them wrong. :)
