Hey, THANK YOU! Since this is in beta the exact problems you mention make it take twice as long, at least, to pick up. One of the worst things about Houdini is that it often isn't clear how to get from A to B where B = understanding something useful. The videos of Max Rose are nice, and greatly appreciated, but with 20.5 us users are unsure if there are better 20.5 videos to learn from now as perhaps there are better higher level tools to make setup easier. So, having some sort of blueprint of where to start gives some peace of mind that one isn't wasting their time. Thanks again.
