You should look into taking the family Geocaching. It's like a big outdoor global scavenger hunt based on GPS. It's family friendly and suitable for all ages! Many geocaches have really cool stories to go with them or are even based at historic locations

i absolutely love seeing how excited luke gets with all of his siblings, all the way from saying “good morning everyone!” all the way down to do something as a family, such as showing us their brand new tv. i love you ballinger’s!

OLED is def the way to go! So awesome you were gifted this beautiful tv- how cool is that! My husband is a techie- he’s all about investing in a quality set every few years. Technology changes so rapidly, but it is beyond worth it to enjoy media in this way. You should def invest in some 4K Blu-ray’s to really see it shine. My best recommendation would be the new remastered 4K UHD Lord of the Rings release. It’s an investment- but SO worth it. The movies have never looked more incredible! Peter Jackson assisted in the remaster, so it was done right.
Christopher: is that thermostat the functioning one that controls climate in any of the rooms in your house? If so, the possible warmth from the back of the tv might falsely inform the thermostat so keep an eye on your room temp if it’s a proper one? Maybe the newer fancy TVs don’t get as warm but it’s possible that the tv placement might cause a temperature control barrier. Anyways congrats on all the big screen streaming now!!!
Aww Jessica snuggled in her bed with (almost) all her kids is just living her best life. And I cannot believe Luke’s progress! His verbal skills are growing so much and even when words fail, he has such a wonderful way of expressing himself. All the kids are incredible. And Chris’s explanation of what they were doing with the cords reminded me a lot of his videos on Gifted Guitars sooo basically this was an awesome video! Editing to say that I’m excited for the day Bailey can read Da Vinci Code. It’s a little mature for her right now, but I think she’d really like it.
Luke is communicating so much better!!! My 5 year old son has hearing loss and autism and has speech delays. He gets speech 3 times a week and occupational therapy and we haven't seen much progress yet, but you guys give me such hope! Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!

I've occasionally bought a flat extension cord only to figure out that it left the outlet in the wrong direction. I didn't even know flat SWIVEL extension cords were a thing, but that will work great for me.

I love using our big screen TV to gather everybody around and take virtual tours of museums like the Smithsonian and the Louvre or the castle that the queen lives in I can’t think of the name right now but it’s really good for that kind of stuff and I know you guys homeschool your kids so I think you guys would really enjoy that they have all kinds of places you can do virtual tours of now
Great idea for the tv cord. I was wondering how they hide the cords. Now I will let my husband install the tv on the wall 😂 I did not want a cord hanging down. What a beautiful walk with the kids! Bailys food looks soo good!
Luke is getting soooo big and hes just a little ball of 🌞 love him and duncan to bits. The age range that they are in is my favorite age range of all children if I could have my dream job it would be teaching children in that age range pre pre kindergarten
I use to nanny Lucy Liu’s brothers kids and they never had a tv either. The only thing they were allowed to watch was tinker bell on a iPad, and I think it’s because Lucy plays one of the fairies lol
Hi from England! If any of your kids are interested or studying history I highly recommend the kids CBBC show 'Horrible Histories' not only is it historically factual it is funny. They use all kinds of techniques to teach kids through like funny sketches or songs (I've watched since Parker was a baby so I know your family likes a sing and a dance). Every child in the UK watched this show and even at 19 I still enjoy it and learn from it. Hopefully you can access it in the US, I think you will be able to on RUclips. Hi! Great book recommendation for Bailey! They are called the Dear America series. Each book is written in diary format from the perspective of a girl about Bailey’s age during different times in US history. They’re super informative-if I remember correctly, they cite all the information in the back, but I could be wrong-while making the information relatable and engaging. Happy learning!
Has Bailey read the book thief yet? It’s another amazing book about WWII. I think she would really enjoy, I’m the same age as Bailey and I really enjoyed it.

Could you guys go do a day in Ojai? I used to live there and love it so much. Maybe a day at Bart's Books and a visit to the hot springs at Matilija Canyon. You could get spring water up the highway. Get some fresh orange juice. It's such a magical place. Give it a thought.
