- The Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 is a new type of performance SUV. It's a seven-seater, smaller than you probably think is possible, and yet it still packs in plenty of punch!
This new go-fast GLB SUV is the Mercedes-AMG version. It has a powered-up 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, all-wheel drive and a 0-100 time of just 5.2 seconds.
And yet is costs less than $100K in Australia, has seven seats, luxury interior trim, an eye-catching design and goes like the clappers.

Why isn’t there going to be a GLB 45 version of the AMG GLB like with the GLA 45?

Looks like the Digital White Metallic. Much nicer than the standard polar white.

Love that soft silver colour and those multi-spoke rims is the 🍒 on this Merc 🍰. Personally I feel an AMG treatment and power on a SUV is a bit "overboard". SUV's is designed as a relaxed family transporter.
AMG will get them more $$$.

No other sporty 7 seater in Australia for under $ 100 k ? This GLB with Driver Assist Pack and Vision Pack and Metallic Paint and all on road costs would be just under or over $ 100 k on road. No air vents for Row 3. Anyway, What about the Skoda Kodiaq RS which is about $ 75 k on road ? U forgot about this one Justin ?
Yeah skoda kodiaq rs probably fits this definition, but it is simply not fast enough, and handling not really any different from a normal kodiaq. Considering this the Kodiaq rs premium over the normal one is ridiculous.

Amg engines are hand made historically. What you have here is a lot of badging.
That's an AMG? The wheel arches are not even painted. Bad!
14.1 liter? lame.
Looks a bit oddball. Low beltline and high roof are odd. Looks swollen like a puffy allergic reaction 122 kW/t is ok but for $100K and an AMG badge I would expect a bit more go go and at 1.9 tonnes empty once loaded with people it ain't going to be light on it's toes. Better than most gutless wobbly SUVs sure but it's still a boat, just a nicer boat. Holden Acadia has the same power to weight and less than half the price.

Capped price of A$2700 for first three services?! F*ck me - first one’s going to be no more than an oil change... even at $200/hr labour how do you get to that amount? Oh well, they say a fool and their money are soon parted.
If you can afford it.
Save yourself $25,000 and get a Skoda Kodiaq RS. 90% of the real world performance but more practical and MUCH cheaper.
Probably the worst value for money offering in the market right now.
