Refreshingly honest review in all respects...nobody looks better in a Benz than SH.
About a year ago i saw two of those MB1's from a distance. One was grey and the other one was silver, they were following each other and didn't know what they were. Glad to finally know , I like the MB1.Great review!
🏁😎🏁👍....Thank You!
I already order this car , waiting to come in august.
All in black. Look like Bat mobile 😎👍🏻
I agree on the exterior design. I haven’t warmed up to it yet. It looks like a small bus. It doesn’t help that your tester didn’t have tinted windows for some reason.
Best looking Mercedes in my opinion.
I struggle to see a strong market for this vehicle. It's not the kind of vehicle to require an AMG-lite variant on looks alone. Though the low HP in the base model forces it into existence. This can be had for less, without all the fluff and It's value improves. At $64k, I'm definitely eyeing a GLC43 coupe or wagon.
GLB 35 does not provide spare tire because this AMG car is using Run-flat tires
No. The Continental Sport Contact 6 tires on our tester are NOT run-flat tires. Manufacturers skip the spare to save money and weight.
@@TestDrivenTV it's unusual, my custom order of GLB 35 placed 3 months ago was 235/50R19, all-season Extended Mobility, that was run flat tires as advised by Mercedes
This vehicle had an optional tire/wheel package. Either way the reason spares are missing has nothing whatsoever to do with the type of tires installed.
Initially the SUVs were spared the spare tire delete. Now it appears they are doing it regardless, though I'd assume the big boys GLE/GLS still carry one.

The uncomfortable rear benches in SUV Mercs have been complained for years and corp is deaf to customer voice. BTW these high performance crossovers are like tattoos…sort of self useful nonsense…they took regular car chassis upgrading it into SUV building vehicle that can go OVER bumpy roads powered with reasonable engines, OK it makes sense… and then they lower it back to ground making whaaat? Sporty SUV that cannot go to soft terrain anymore? OK, rich people have spoiled tastes and it is the selling factor…big wagons are supposed to be sporty fast as sex is supposed to be painful… you really need to be kinda S/M weirdo liking that…and in secondhand market these cars are lost leftovers or h**kers changing its s**p every second year because nobody else wants to pay for eye watering maintenance…it makes sh**y reputation these top brands, doesn’t it?
..…plus tax. $$$ 😤
Let's be real. These entry level vehicles are for people who want the status but can only afford a poverty model.
I really really thought hard about it. CLA35 or Hyundai i30 Fastback N, looks are similar but the pricing is worlds apart and you have just as much if not more car from Hyundai for less. Yes the materials might not be AAA quality but the entry level "luxury brand" vehicles nowadays aren't that far away in quality anymore. or have already been overtaken by the "cheaper" brands. In the end the internals come from the same manufacturer anyway.
