- Learn how to make old fashioned, freshly squeeze homemade lemonade using real lemons. Quench your thirst this summer with your own easy homemade lemonade!

Homemade Lemonade
Time to Make It: 15 minutes
Yield: 8 cups lemonade
Ingredients
5 pounds lemons
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Instructions
1. Cut lemons in half. Juice each lemon through a strainer into a large measuring cup. Keep juicing until you have 2 cups of lemon juice.
2. Pour water into a medium-size saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in sugar. Continue cooking over heat until sugar is dissolved and liquid looks clear again.
3. Combine sugar solution with lemon juice. This is a lemonade concentrate. When ready to serve, add water to taste.
Note: the lemonade concentrate can be frozen for later use. Just pour it into a gallon-sized ziploc bag and lay flat in the freezer. When ready to serve, thaw, and add water to taste.

Wanted to share with you that I made this for my son's lemonade stand and I had people come back an hour later asking for more and with more people to support our stand. Your lemonade was an ABSOLUTE hit!! Thank you!!🍋
-First squeeze 2cups of lemon juice
-Then heat up 2cups of sugar and 2cups of water till clear
-After mix in gallon container
-Finally add the rest of 10cups of cold water and stir
(Enjoy sweet lemonade)

I've actually made this but used one secret ingredient, well I guess is not secret anymore once I tell u. So I do is squeeze the lemons, add twice as much water as lemon juice, add 3/4 amount of sugar as water, and lastly, add 2-3 tsp of honey. Trust me it tastes amazing 😍

This was the 1st lemonade video I watched and I made it per your ratio. It was a BIG HIT in my family! Yes, that ratio is the concentrate and it takes plenty of ice and water to make it just right. I kept as much as the pulp as I could because we like pulp. For those of you who said it's too much sugar - just add more water. You'll lesson the sugar intake and you'll get more lemonade! This is probably less sugar than a soft drink or other sugary drinks. For those that cook on induction - 250 degrees worked for me.
Thats right....a bunch of these know it all think the drinks they purchase from the store are looking out for their best interests.
Those cans sometimes contain 40mg of hfcs.
A 20 oz can of cola has 17 tablespoons of sugar.... and gods knows how many additives.

We're making lemonade today so we thought we'd watch a few videos for inspiration. This looks just right! The only thing I'd add is that we always zest the lemons first and freeze it so we always have zest on hand🍋

In India, we add black pepper, Little bit of rock salt and mint leaves on top of it. It just becomes even more refreshing and thirst quenching.

thx, I have 2lts of home grown orangic lemon juice from my tree (with probably 40+ more lemons on the tree), i usually just make lemon ice cream with it but lemonaid sounds great
FYI - If you've never tried it, microwave your lemons for 10 to 15 seconds to increase the juice yield. It bursts the pulp. I can't wait to make this lemonade!
Rolling it also helps too

Thank you for posting. I've never tried to make lemonade. Come to think of t, I don't think anyone in my family made it when I was growing up. Thanks to your video, I now know how to. It came out really good. I added way more water because I have acid reflux issues every now & then but I still wanted lemonade. I let my little girl try it & she was just drinking it & giggling. (Goofy girl) but she loved it too. 😄 I'm sure my other two will enjoy it as well by they're asleep at the moment. I will be making lemonade from now on & will add other fruit slices to it as well.
Oan, I forgot to say in my previous message that i actually brought the water to a boil before I actually added the sugar because that melts the sugar almost instantly. I also chilled the lemon juice a few minutes in the freezer before I actually combined the two. Thank you so much again for posting this video. (Cyber hugs)

I just made this Lemonade....first time ever for making Lemonade. It is delicious. But, I had to add lots of water to tame down the sweetness level. I never use sugar in my foods, so my taste buds were going Wowsa, it's too sweet. Next time I will wait until I'm read to drink it & then I will add the extra water. Just popped this batch in 2 cup zip-lock bags & into the freezer, waiting for the hot summer days. Tks Stay at Home Chef....I'm loving this.

Thank you so much it really helped I need some for my dad and he said it was really sweet because I use cold water but that’s OK but thank you so much he loved the lemonade
I boiled my lemons first for a few minutes to make them very soft. Warming them helps break up the cells before juicing them. (I boiled them because I don't have a microwave and I'm experimenting) If a microwave is used only do it for 30-60 seconds. Then before cutting in half hand roll it on the counter to break up the cells inside of it. They will yield more juice this way. Juice pours out when cutting them in half and while using the juicer tool. I don't have a tool like hers. I used an old timey glass one. I only had 2 lbs of 🍋 = 1-1/4 cups of lemon juice. Water and sugar 1-1/4 cups each. Turned out great but it needs a little bit more sugar.
Heating lemons kills all its vitamin C. Never use heat on lemons, oranges or parsley....etc.
I’m buying lemons tomorrow so I can enjoy this lemonade! But I may try using less sugar. 🤔

I made this lemonade, except instead of using lemons I used limes. We only had 3 limes in the house so I ended having half a cup of fresh squeezed lemonade 😭. However, when I poured the syrup (I used brown sugar instead of white sugar) into the lemonade, it stilled tasted great! It was still a small portion though, but I was only making for me and my sister. I guessed you can call what we made LIME-anade 😂
