Hi Mam, Nice Information. I think your equation is like LHS=RHS for the sq.ft rate. if you consider the acrylic laminate there is no much hidden cost . Like your directly transporting and pasting the product with normal adhesives. For lacquered glass the transportation is a risk, skilled labor is a risk , even the adhesives or paste is expensive .Due to added weight of the glass ,hardware's load carrying capacity should be nominal .It is not readily available in all locations. And many others factors increases the price . Have you actually calculate the specific material used per shutter and its cost. A good designer with good knowledge will consider all the aspects for the Quotation. Comparing only the sq.ft rate is like a round figure and it will not give you the actual cost. Kindly give your thoughts based on actual cost.

3800 too much rate only…..We charge 2600/- sq.ft in Banglore for this work…
